Ice

'poor little ice have you figured it out yet?'

my eyes snapped open, was trying to catch my breath while my headache dissapeared.

he's done it again,for the past days that man has been getting in my mind more often.

I didn't tell anyone, I even blocked Vanessa and I'm aware with that action the others are worrying about me but most of all their getting suspicious.

I dont want to tell them, I know they will try and find a way to catch him and kill him.

I'm afraid of telling them, I dont know what that man is capable of.

I am one of the strongest Spychics in the building yet he's able to get in my mind. sure he enters when I'm asleep which is one of all spychics vunerable stage but he's still able to get in my mind.

If he's able to get in my mind theres no telling what he could do to the others.

I've witnessed the capacity and damage a spychics power can cause, mentally of course, and if he's powerful enough to get in my mind then I dont want to see the damage he can do especially to my friends.

ugh I'm getting soft. 'agreed you're actually caring for others' he said amusingly.  I snapped awake once again, I was so much in thought that I was about to dose off.

I got up ignoring the headache that suddenly dissapeared. I ran my hand throught my hair sighing, this is so frustrating.

I got up making my way towards the bathroom and took a cold shower. I was never one for warm hot showers. I got out putting on white stockings and put black shorts with black boots with heels of course and put on a white tang top with my black leather jacket.

yep going black and white today. I put my still wet hair in a ponytail and got my gun which I carry all the time. I got my wallet looked around the room to see if I missed anything and walked out and down the wall my heels clicking on the tile.

I need coffee to calm my nerves. I sighed and made my way towards the starbucks in the building, I've got to say they make one of the best coffees.

After that I headed towards my office, why am I boring you with all these details? well I'm stalling, I know that the guys came up to an agreement to ask me what has been going on these past few days and I'm not looking foward to it.

yet here I am in front of my office door. I sighed now or never.

I walked into my office. "morning" I greeted before I sat on my chair.

"whats up?" I asked them when they kept staring.

"oh dont whats up us, I know you know whats up" Vanessa spoke putting her hands on her hips. 

I sighed and waited for the lecture.

"What's been going on with you these days Ice" Derek started, "you've been distant and paranoid dont think we didn't notice"

"not only that but you blocked me from your mind permanently, sure you do it all the time but I'm still able to get in but now I can't even break throught no matter how much power I put into it. I thought it was nothing at first but you never did put down or even loosen your walls, if anything you made them stronger." Vanessa stated.

"whats going on Ice what are you hiding?"Lee asked softly.

"you wouldn't understand" I tried avoiding any information spilled.

"we wont if you dont talk to us. you're not alone anymore Ice you have friends, us we can help you" Chris said firmly.

maby thats the case. 'agreed you're actually caring for others'  I recalled the man's words. he's right, I'm starting to care....to feel thats not good.

"Ice-" Phil started.

"leave it alone" I snapped giving them a hard look daring them to say another word but was met with silence.

satisfied I got up facing the screen as I pressed a button showing a map of the U.S also showing all the organizations in the world.

"these past few days I noticed the decreasing sighings of Conquerers and killings. I looked into it and found this" I pressed another button and this time there were red dots for the conquerers and blue dots for the societies.

The red dots are decreasing towards where we are and increasing near New York and Texas.

"It looks like their retreating" Phil said confused but I could sense the excitement in his voice.

"Thats what it looks like but I doubt thats the reason" especially with that man invading my mind.

"Ice is right, I doubt they would give up just like that especially when they found a way to actually kill us" Derek agreed.

"then what could be the reason for this" Chris pointed at the map frustratingly.

'poor little ice have you figured it out yet?' his earlier words haunted me. the bastard is playing me.

"think of anything that can fit into this" I told them, I really need to figure this out but I have a feeling I won't like it.  not one bit.

"well obviously retreating is out" Phil shrugged.

"no shit. keep up" Lee smacked his head.

"ow" he mumbled.

"focus" I snapped still thinking.

"ok ok" Phil grumbled.

"new weapons?" Chris asked.

"well they already have new weapons and if it is not all of them need to get it, they could have just delivered it" Vanessa shook her head. I agree with that.

"a gathering?"Lee questionned. 

"could be but why do they all have to go?" I wondered out loud.

"true some of their leaders would have the gathering not the whole army, plus they need to keep us in check or something" Phil agreed. an army?

This went on for about thirty minutes

"I cant think on an empty stomach how about we get something to eat." Phil groaned. 

"good point I'm hungry too" Lee streched. I was about to go against the idea when my stomach growled.

"so what do you guys want to eat" Phil asked as we walked. "I call Mc Donalds."

"what I want Burger King" Lee argued.

"um Mc Donalds" Phil stated.

"Burger King" Lee argued.

"what do you guys want?" Phil asked.

"I dont care, as long as I eat something" I shrugged, I've got to figure out why the conquerers are all heading in one place.

"I want burger king" Vanessa shrugged.

"Mc Donalds" Both Dereck and Chris stated.

"Mc Donalds it is then" Phil said victoriously.

"what thats not fair" Lee complained.

"steanght in numbers sis" Phil said smugly.

I froze by what he said, strenght in number, holy-  I got it!

Who would have thought a childish argument would solve a riddle that could save the world.

"uumm Ice you all right" I heard Chris ask making me snap out of it.

"I got it" I told him.

"got what?" he asked looking at me as if I lost my mind.

"I know why the conquerers are all heading in one place" I stated excited, Take that creepy man.

"damn I need to tell the administrators" I ran towards their office. good thing its nearby.

"so why are they going in one place?" Lee asked running beside me.

"there are strenght in nunmbers, Its hard for them to take us down all at once all alone. Their not retreating-"

"their regrouping" Vanessa cut me off.

"and once their all together-" Phil started.

"their going to take us down one by one" Derek finished.an army, glad they got the concept, lets hope the administrators around the world get it. 

"so how are we going to stop them, What are we going to do the six of us will be outnumbered." Chris asked catching up to me.

"i've got an idea" I stated before barging in their office.

"why the heck-" Mr Flame started "Ice" he said my name irritated when he saw me. I dont have time for him.

"no time for that this is very important" I ignored him.

"what is it" Mrs Flame asked.

"how fast can you gather all of the societies from around the world, especially their leaders." I asked them.

"whats this about?" Mr Flame asked.

"I'll tell you when their all gathered" I said irritated.

"Ice sweetheart did you forget?" Ms Flame asked me. what did I forget?

"their all already on their way" She stated. 

"what why?" Vanessa asked confused, so am I. I just asked for a gathering and their already on their way.

"well yeah their all already on their way its almost Christmas and this year were hosting the Killer Christmas event" he stated.

I froze, The Killer Christmas event, I totally forgot about that.
