Ice

well after that little episode everything went back to normal, or as normal as I can ever be. Also eversince yesterday, Lee, Phil and Chris have been avoiding me.

no realy I can sense them nearby and I guess they can sense me too since soon enough their presence is gone. thats how its been all day as I was trying to find them and apologise for yesterday.

well at least they learned to never mess with me during my time of the month, the cold hard way.

so here I am in my office watching the footage from the time we left off. I can't believe one got away, he was playing dead and we didn't really bother checking since they had to rush me back here. smart bastard got away when we were gone.

I sighed looking at the clock. 2 PM, I stiffled a yawn I am really tired today. I relaxed on the chair, maby I could close my eyes for a few seconds.

"looks like you're still alive, too bad you lost one of your precious powers" an eery omnimous voice of a man sspoke then begin to chuckle.

I woke up startled trying to catch my breath. I winced as I felt my head pounding and groaned when it hurt much more from the sudden movement.

all the sudden the pain just stopped, no headache. This could only mean one thing. 

someone was in my mind.

That man. I shivered just thinking of his eery creepy voice, he was able to get into my mind. I looked at the clock and saw it said 3:23.

I jumped as the door slammed open. I snapped my head towards the door seeig Vanessa and Derek restraining Chris, Phil and Lee. well thats interesting.

I raised an eyebrow questionally the man's creepy voice forgotten.

"come on Vanessa just let us go" Phil fought her grip trying to get to the door. It's highly amusing, a big man held down by a female a quater his size.

"you two can't avoid her forever besaides it wasn't her fault" She pushed him right in front of my desk along with Lee and Chris.

"hi Ice" Lee waved awkwardly waved. 

I sighed getting up, they all flinched back as I did so. oh come on I wasn't that bad. 

"guys I'm sorry I never meant for that to happen, I would never hurt you guys on purpose." I told them.

"that comming from the most ruthless person in the building" Lee muttered.

I just rolled my eyes "we all know I take that as a compliment now come on we still have a lot of things to figure out" 

I pressed a button on the screen. "since you guys told me one guy got away" they shuddered probably thinking of what happened after.

"I checked any security camera's that caught him, put a film together and got this." I pressed the play button.

The video showed a footage from the jewelry store when he limped out, a footage from a corner store as he passed by and many other places until a footage from a laundry matt caught him going into a clothe pressing firm.

"I thought about it and came up with no other explanation than that place was another base." I told them pausing the video.

"how do we know for sure?" Chris asked.

"because as time passed" I fast foward, soon three man dressed in back came out of there at 9PM or so and they were armed. They may have hid it well for the public not to notice but not well enough for me not to notice.

"do you know-" Derek was interrupted by a knock on the door. "yes" I called out irritated for being disrupted.

"The administrators would like to see you" a girl spoke as she opened the door. 

"who?" Phil asked, I have a pretty good idea who.

"agent Ice" with that she was out of here.

I sighed and got up "be back" I told them as i walked out towards the administrators office.

I just barged in and stood in front of them. I haven't seen them for a while wonder if they missed me.

"Ice" Mr Flame stared at me irritated. thats a no.

"Flame" I greeted him back. I wonder why we can get along, is it our names, Ice and Flame or is it just my uncanny way of annoying people.

"oh Ice sweetheart are you alright, we heard you got hit with three bullets full of cyrum" Mrs Flame gave me a hug while I patted her back awkwardly.

"I'm fine I just lost my Cytokinesis"" I said sadly.

Mrs Flame pulled back looking shocked. "you really did?" She asked me shocked.

"uumm yeah" I answered glancing at her husband who also looked shocked, how can they not know that?

"oh my baby" and theres another hug but this time it was deadlier. I cant breath.

she let me go and its a good thing she did or I would elbow her to free myself. I breathed deeply getting oxygen back to my lugs as soon as she let go.

"we know that you're going throught a lot right now but is there any information that we need to know about those bullet filled with cyrum." Flame asked.

seriously who does he think I am "why dont you just come out and say it" I rolled my eyes at his confused expression.

"how did it feel to get shot with bullets filled with deadly cyrum?" I deadpanned "well it hurt like hell, when you get shot it feels like a normal bullet but after a minute or two the bullets release the cyrum in your bloodsystem" and thats one flaw in their greatest weapon against us, if you take the bullet out of you in time you'll be alright.

"How did you survive, you were shot with three of them" Mr Flame asked again. well at least he's not beating around the bush or trying to be polite about it.

"I have samples of those cyrums and have been conducting experiments to create an anticyrum with Lee helping me. we almost succeded, the one we have now cancels out the poison but as you can see you still lose your powers." I sighed.

"interesting, no one even succeeded in  any of that" Mrs Flame praised. well obviously your lackies are lacking. thats what I wanted to say anyway but I kept my mouth shut, I'm not about to get into another argument, I'm way too tired.

"would you give us a sample?" Mr Flame asked. like he needs to ask he'll get it either way anyway.

"sure sure I'll get you samples in two days" I told him.

"good you may go" he waved me off. prick.

I walked out of their office going back to mines.

What can his lackeys do? they didn't even get as far as Lee and I did on the anticyrum and they expect to complete it.

I sighed looking at my hands.

I miss my Cytokinesis.
