That night the weather had dropped considerably, and due to the snow that had fallen during the day the motorways were icy, but luckily where the alpha and omega were going it was not necessary to take the motorway. The little house that Louis had bought was on the other side of the woods, right where the pastures began.

The alpha had made sure that the road was safe so that Harry could go to the house whenever he wanted, it didn't take more than half an hour to get there by car, although there was a shorter way on foot, but with that weather it was impossible to go on foot, they would freeze.

As they came closer to the house, everything began to take shape, the dark forest through which they were driving was left behind little by little and a beautiful house was looming between some leafless trees, in front of it there was a small wooden bridge to cross a river that divided the property . As for the house, it wasn't as small as Harry had imagined it to be; the walls were made of light stone and the entire ceiling was covered in a thick layer of white snow, a beautiful chimney peeked out of the highest part of the roof and a cloud of smoke was coming out of it, did Louis already planned for them to stay the night on that house?

The alpha stopped the car in front of the property and got out of it to open the small metal door that led to the patio. Once he did, he returned to the car and cleaned the snow that had fallen on his hair. The omega could not stop looking at those blue eyes that he loved so much, with all the white snow around them it seemed that they were shining.

"Home sweet home." Louis said with a huge smile on his face and went downstairs to open the door for his omega, he took his hand and they both walked to the entrance.

The ceilings were made of dark wood like the floor, the furniture that decorated the room was white and stood out in a beautiful way. The fireplace illuminated the room while several lamps were distributed throughout the rooms.

"Why don't you go take a look around the property? I'm going to heat some water so we can have some tea." Harry nodded and kissed his alpha's cheek before starting to walk across the room to a hallway.

On the walls were various paintings of beautiful landscapes that Harry couldn't recognize, he reached the first door and opened it discovering that there was the bathroom, it was small which meant that there were more throughout the house. He went up the stairs arriving at a corridor that led to a black door. A beautiful white carpet covered the wood of the floor and on these red petals made a path to that door. Harry couldn't help but smile as he imagined Louis preparing all that just for him. He looked up to the wall and saw several awards with Louis's name on them, "Bachelor of Accounting and Finance" he read one, "Diploma in the French language", "Diploma in the Russian language" and finally "Diploma in the Italian language". Harry knew that Louis knew languages, but he didn't think there were that many.

He opened that door and looked at the beautiful room he had arrived at. The rose petals reached the bed and formed a huge heart on it, you're such a hopeless romantic alpha, he thought as he smiled. The bed was enormous to say little, it was even bigger than the one they had at home. The thought of having several puppies sleeping with them in that bed made him laugh, and before he could continue exploring that room he heard several notes being played on a piano, and curiosity flooded him.

He felt his alpha's voice calling him in a way he had never felt before, there was a certain calm that he couldn't describe, he was feeling the same thing Louis was feeling at that moment... love.

Harry began to follow that sound that reached his ears with such tranquillity, he went downstairs enjoying the sound of the melody and Louis's voice, he would never have thought that his alpha could sing so wonderfully. His feet moved by themselves, at that moment he was not in control of his actions and once he reached the room from which that song came, he leaned against the door frame and looked at his alpha with attention.

The piano was in the centre of the room, in front of it there was a huge window that revealed the huge field full of snow. Louis kept his eyes fixed on the piano keys, he knew Harry was watching him, he could feel his eyes on him, and that song he was playing slowly turned into a ballad for his omega. As the verses passed the emotion and feeling in Louis's voice became present, some tears even began to fall down his cheeks at the many memories that began to fly around his mind.

"I didn't know you could play the piano...or sing." Harry said once the song was over. He slowly walked over to the chair his alpha was on and sat down next to him.

"It's one of the few things I remember from when I was little." He wiped a small tear from his cheek and looked at Harry. "When I was around eight or nine years old, my mother insisted that I should take piano lessons, I never got to finish them because... well, you know," he swallowed and took his omega's hand to put it on a note and made him press it gently, "but I still remember a few things about this beautiful instrument."

"Why don't you have a piano in the house? You could have continued with your lessons there." Louis shook his head and sighed. Harry leaned over his alpha's shoulder and looked down, studying the keys he'd just struck.

"My father did many things for me, I never had the courage to ask him for something, besides there were many other things to do and between the classes and lessons we had there was no time for a hobby." They both remained silent for a few minutes. There was a certain nostalgia in the alpha's words, one that Harry couldn't quite comprehend, but he knew that no matter what, he would support Louis.

"Well, I think that when we have puppies," he stood up as he spoke and held out his hand for Louis to take, "you should teach them to play the piano, so they can all sing together."

The alpha smiled and accepted the omega's gesture from him. They walked clumsily down the stairs, laughing as if they were two teenagers in love and giving each other a kiss from time to time, until they reached that door. Harry looked at the watch on his wrist and smiled.

"We still have two hours until my birthday is over, you know?" Louis smiled and raised his eyebrows.

"What kind of indiscreet proposition are you insinuating Mr. Styles? I don't really understand your purpose." They both laughed.

"One that I'm sure you'll accept, Mr. Tomlinson." The alpha approached his omega's face and left a kiss on his lips.

Harry began a trail of kisses from Louis' jaw to his collarbones, the emotions he felt through the mark were overwhelming, he felt at home, because no matter where he was, even if it was in the middle of nowhere, with Louis at his side, he would always be at home. And those four walls next to the moon witnessed how much they loved each other that night, and how they made marks on their skins that showed everyone that they belonged to each other.

The next morning Harry was sore, but still decided that he could get up to finish his little tour around the house and make his alpha some breakfast, he almost felt that they were a normal couple, in a world where they are not part of a mafia, they are just Harry and Louis in a house in the countryside, where Harry gets up every morning to prepare food for his alpha, just the two of them, totally alone.

He walked down the hall with only a robe over his body, the house was quite warm, if he couldn't see through the windows, he wouldn't believe it's still snowing outside.

There was a small office at the end of the hall, just enough for Louis to catch up on work if they stayed there, two guest rooms and what caught his attention the most; a white door across the hall, quite close to the main room.

He pushed open the door and what was inside left him speechless. In the middle and next to the window was a wooden crib, perfectly accommodated with pillows and stuffed animals, a pale green maternity chair and next to it a small bookcase with toys and children's books, white walls decorated with animals and a couple of pictures with cartoon drawings. If he didn't know that this house belongs to Louis and him, he would swear that a couple lived there with a puppy, his eyes filled with tears and arms wrapped around his waist.

"Do you like it?" His alpha whispered, Harry nodded.

"Why is all this here?" He asked barely in a small voice.

"Well, I was thinking... When we have our first puppy, we can be here for a few months, just the three of us, no mobsters, partners or nosy brothers making a fuss, what do you think?" The omega turned and wrapped his arms around the alpha's neck, who held him a little tighter against him.

"I love you so much, Lou." He hid his face in the blue-eyed boy's neck and breathed in his scent. "My alpha."

"My omega." Louis began to leave small kisses on the curly man's head, his scent of happiness flooded the entire house. "We can sit here for hours with our pup, read them stories... Oh look what I got for them!"

Louis took Harry by the hand and led him into the room, opened the closet doors and from there took out a rug with a bow that had animal figures hanging from it. Harry smiled tenderly, Louis arranged the things on the floor and looked at his omega very excitedly.

"They can lie there and see the little animals, see? It even has a little music player thing." The tears returned to the omega's green eyes, and the alpha approached him, worried. "Don't you like it, love? We can change it, I can ask someone to..."

"I love it, Lou, it's just...I never thought you'd be so excited and looking forward to having puppies with me." He admitted quietly. Louis held him close to his chest and began stroking his curls.

"What are you talking about, Hazz? Of course I am looking forward to having puppies with you, I want to give you all the puppies you ask for, I want all the puppies in the world if it's with you." A sob came from the omega's lips and the blue-eyed one detached himself to look into his eyes.

"For many years I believed that I would never find an alpha who would love me," he admitted quietly and Louis frowned at him, "they always made me believe that I wasn't an omega that was worth it, that I was lucky if they even looked at me for a moment, and now you... You did all this for me, because you want to have puppies with me, why?"

"Are you seriously asking me why, darling?" He walked towards the chair and sat there, accommodating his omega on his lap, he wasted no time and snuggled into his alpha's chest. "Harry, I don't know who made you believe that, but let me tell you that he can't be more mistaken, you are my omega, the best omega in the entire world, I would dare to say that in the universe, do you know what was the first thing I thought when I saw you for the first time? And I don't mean when we were kids, I mean the day you came home."

Harry shook his head and Louis smiled tenderly.

"I thought that your eyes are the most beautiful green that could have been invented, and I wouldn't mind if they were the first thing in front of me every morning, no matter how stupid I could have been, there is something that has never changed, Hazz, and it is the fact that you are on my mind every second, and everything I do, is for you and for you, because you are my omega and I love you with all my soul."

The omega joined his lips with his alpha's, those lips that he wanted to die kissing without a doubt, joined their foreheads once they ran out of breath and stayed there, the green mixing with the blue, the melodies of their hearts in perfect tune.
