On Saturday morning Harry decided it was a good idea to go for a walk with Louis through the local market, they both walked for hours and hours while Harry greeted everyone he met and bought fruit from different stalls. Many watched them go hand in hand, some surprised to see little Harry with a mark on his neck and others curious to know who that tall, handsome man with blue eyes was.

"Jane's going to scold you if you keep buying so many things, Hazz." Louis said as he watched as Harry tried on some hand-knitted sweaters by an omega who was watching them from across the stall. Harry looked at Louis with a frown, a little offended by what his alpha had just said.

"At home I can't go out and buy things on my own, besides I like the handmade things they sell here more." The alpha laughed and walked over to Harry, looked at the sweaters on the table and took Two of the same, he returned his gaze to Harry, who was watching him curiously.

"We can buy these, so we can dress the same." A huge smile appeared on the omega's lips, who rushed to Louis to hug him, wrapped his arms around his neck and placed a kiss on his lips.

"We can also buy these for Zayn's baby." He quickly broke away and ran to another part of the room to grab a smaller sweater. "We can also get this one for Niall, and this one for Liam, and Zayn will love this one...too We can give this one to Shawn." He said excitedly as he took several items in his hands. The alpha looked at him with a huge smile on his face and walked up to the owner of the place.

"I'll write you a check for everything he wants to buy." He told the woman, and she smiled.

"Is he your omega?" She asked and Louis nodded as he watched him run around the tent taking everything that caught his eye. "You two look very cute together, let me give you something." The omega walked to another part of the store and took a small paper bag from her, the same one where she put on two blue and gold bracelets, wrote a little note and went back to Louis. "Here you go, it's a thank you gift for all the purchases you're doing, you just made my whole year."

"Thank you, you are very kind." The alpha took the small bag and smiled at the woman. Harry returned to them with almost twenty sweaters in his arms and set them on a table so the woman could collect from them.

Once Louis paid, leaving her a rather generous tip for her kindness, they both took the huge paper bags and started walking back; one of the two bodyguards who had accompanied them carried the bags of things they had bought before and the other took the new ones, Harry felt a little embarrassed to see that both alphas carried so many bags without complaining, but Louis's arm around his shoulders snapped him out of his thoughts.

"The woman gave me this." He gave him the little bag as they walked, the omega opened it and took out the two bracelets while Louis read what the little note said. "I hope the future gives you everything you want, that the stars in heaven protect your nights and the sun illuminates your way. I give you my blessings and I hope you are very happy together." Harry looked at that note and smiled. "It seems that omega liked us very much."

"Maybe it was because of everything we bought." They both laughed.

"That's most likely." Harry gave one of the bracelets to Louis and he put on the other.

"Now we're always matching!."

The couple kept walking until it was lunch time and they returned to Jane's house to help her prepare something. That day neither of them was wearing an elegant expensive suit, that day Louis was not one of the main crowns of the one of the biggest mafias in Europe, and Harry was not one of the most feared omegas of the mafias, that day it was just Harry and Louis, two lovers who wanted to have a lovely evening.

At night they both decided to watch a movie in the curly man's room, it was funny to think that they had just created a little tradition that they planned to follow from time to time, visit Jane for a weekend and spend time as a normal couple, the house of the omega made them feel closer and more private than in the mansion.

"I can't believe they were so naive the whole movie, it was more than clear that he was the villain." Louis commented as he ate popcorn.

"That was literally the whole point, Lou, they weren't supposed to know, that's why there was time to develop the whole plot." He laughed and leaned against his alpha's legs.

"That doesn't take away the fact that they are naive and stupid, but it doesn't matter." He crouched down to Harry's height and kissed him slowly for a few minutes. "Some time ago I had an experience like the one in the movie, you know?" He added once they leaned apart.

"Seriously? I thought you didn't go out to make deliveries and that you didn't like being involved in the business."

"That was a decision I made not so long ago," he sighed and looked out the window wistfully. Harry sat up in his place and looked at him carefully, "we once went to collect a debt from a man who used to do business with us..."

"We're going in and out, we shouldn't have any problems, we're just going to shake it up a bit." The alpha commented before getting out of the car.

Niall, Liam and Louis had been assigned to go and collect from an alpha who had broken several agreements with Icarus Rose, the important thing was to get in, force him to pay, and leave. Two guards went to the backyard, two went to the right side of the house and watched through the windows and two others went to the left side and did the same, while the three alphas rang the bell at the front entrance. An unpleasant-looking man opened the door and looked fearfully at the figure of the men in front of him.

"Mr. Stilinski, it's nice to finally meet you in person, may we come in for tea?" Mr. Tomlinson spoke with a more serious tone than usual. The alpha swallowed hard and stepped aside for them to pass, he watched them with wide eyes, clearly he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, which would make things even more difficult.

The place was a mess, there were stains from God knows what all over the floor, several of the decorative items were broken indicating a possible sign of domestic abuse coming from that alpha. Liam split up to watch the house for anyone who might be on the property while Niall and Louis stayed with the man.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my house?" The man asked drawling his words.

"I'm afraid you know us, and if you use your brain a bit you'll realise that you know perfectly well what we're here for." Louis spoke again. The man's confusion was present, although deep down he had already connected the dots. The sweat that trickled down his skin emanated fear, and both alphas could detect it.

"Well, I guess that's how things will be." Horan spoke for the first time, he walked through the room analysing the belongings that were in the place, he was looking for something of value but his eyes found nothing. He approached that man with a rotten appearance and smell and took out a dagger from his belt. This had been a gift from Zayn on his twentieth birthday, it was a beautiful silver knife, the handle of it was shaped like a rose, it was delicate and lethal, just like him. They all wore black leather gloves to keep out of trouble and Niall had appreciated it as he grabbed the man by the shoulders and using the strength in his arms made him fall to the ground on his knees then positioned his knife on the man's neck. "So you know who we are?"

Stilinski had begun to shake and sweat even more, his breathing had increased as he felt the alpha behind him threatening his life, but the effect of the drugs in his system made him feel stronger. In a quick movement he tried to grab the blond's leg to throw him away but it was enough to make a small cut on his neck for a cry of pain to come out and leave him alone.

"Is he really trying to fight us?" The brown-haired man mocked as he advanced a bit. "I'm sure that if you have the balls to do that you must also have the money you owe us, or am I wrong?" His voice was menacing and rough. The alpha looked directly into the man's eyes, it almost seemed that his soul had left his body at that moment and the devil himself was possessing him.

"Come on Stilinski," Niall said, "you can't just keep quiet, we know that Sarah is going to be very disappointed to come home and see that she's going to have to clean your blood from the carpet." He moved the dagger a little more, deepening the cut, the man screamed in pain again and both alphas laughed.

"I don't have the money." He finally blurted out, and Louis raised his eyebrows.

"You do not have the money?" He laughed. "Did you hear that, Ni? He says he doesn't have the money, I can't believe it." His voice was full of sarcasm.

"Surely someone in his family must have some savings they can lend him to pay us back, Louis." The aforementioned clucked and began pacing around the room.

"Or... maybe I have someone to settle the account with." He took a photograph that was on the wall and looked at it for a few seconds before returning to face the man. "Who are these beautiful women?" He turned the photo over so the man could see who he was talking about. In that role was the alpha with his family, his wife Sarah and their little daughter Emma, and realising that, terror flooded his system and his expression changed, "very good, I see that you are already thinking about how to pay us, because If I'm honest, we need... omegas." Niall's gaze went to his brother, there was confusion in his eyes but Louis only smiled.

"Lou." The blonde called. "I don't think..."

"What Niall?" He interrupted him with a strong voice. "It's more than clear that this idiot is not taking us seriously, so I'm going to do my best to make him pay his debt and if that means taking his omegas for personal use, I'll do it."

A small sob reached the ears of everyone in the room, the brown-haired alpha looked at Stilinski with a curious smile and winked at him before starting to walk down one of the corridors of the house. He pulled the gun from him and began to drag it along the wall, causing a terrifying creak in the wood. He walked slowly until he found a door that led to a closet and small gasps came from there. He opened the door with force and a piercing scream came from the throat of the little girl who was hiding there. Tomlinson took her by force and pointed the gun directly at his head and then returned to the room.

"NO, LET ME GO!" The girl screamed while she threw fists and kicks into the air, trying to get out of the alpha's arms.

"EMMA!" The man yelled and Niall held him tighter so he couldn't get away. Louis stopped in front of the man and took the girl better, held her in her arms while the gun was pointed at the side of her head.

"If you stay still, I promise I won't murder your daddy." He whispered in her ear and the girl covered her mouth with her hands. "Perfect, so... The money or Emma? Easy pick."

"Louis, what the hell are you doing?" Horan asked with annoyance and fear in his voice.

"I'm tired of people thinking we're just gambling around, thinking we're just lending money and nothing's going to happen if we don't get paid, Niall, so shut up and focus." Liam walked into the room just as Tomlinson stopped talking.

He watched as the little omega cried in his arms and as Louis pointed his gun at her. At that moment his heart broke, was it true what his eyes showed him? Louis was threatening a man to kill his daughter?

"What the hell are you doing?" He asked.

"Stay out Liam, it's none of your business, I want everyone to shut the fuck up and let me do this my way." He shot at the ceiling and both the man and the girl screamed. The alpha approached Stilinski but just as he was going to speak the front door opened, everyone's gaze went to the woman who was standing in the doorway, in her hands she had a huge paper bag with groceries from the supermarket. The alpha's smile widened and he walked up to the woman. "But look what the wind brought us, we were just talking about you." The woman was immediately startled when she saw the weapon that threatened the life of her daughter and the bag she was carrying fell to the ground.

"Wh-what's going on? Who are you? Joseph, what have you done?" She spoke nervously, Louis motioned for her to come in and the woman did without hesitation twice. Things weren't going the way Louis really wanted, the man kept saying that he didn't have money to pay the debt and the boys kept telling him to let go of the girl.

"EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCKING MOUTH!" He yelled unconsciously using his alpha voice, the two omegas flinched and fell silent, while the alphas looked at him in surprise. "I'm fed up, so either you pay us or I'll take your daughter, how much do you think they'll give me for her? A pretty omega about fourteen years old, I'll assume she's a virgin, what do you say Morgan?" He looked at one of the guards who had accompanied them, and the man swallowed.

"I don't know sir, about three million?" A small smile appeared on the face of the blue-eyed alpha, sweat dripped down his neck and his pupils were dilated due to adrenaline, that man was not Louis.

"You are quite pessimistic, Morgan, I would ask for at least five million euros for her, that would settle her account, don't you think?"

"I need time, I can get the money, I swear, but leave my daughter, she has nothing to do with this, take me, but leave my daughter." The man begged as tears fell uncontrollably down his face, Louis let out a laugh.

"Time? DO YOU WANT TIME?" He pressed the gun to the girl's head harder and approached the man. "Time's up Stilinski."

His wife ran until she was only a few steps from the alpha and then it happened.

Blood splashed on Louis's face and his heart stopped, the omega let out a piercing cry as she saw how the life of her daughter left her body. Louis had fired.

A shiver ran down the alpha's back and everything seemed to happen in slow motion, a bullet from a guard pierced the omega's abdomen making her fall and one more went through the head of the alpha kneeling next to Niall and the dead body fell too.

His hands began to shake, everyone's voices sounded distant as he dropped the little girl to the ground in front of him, he had murdered her, he had taken the life of an innocent girl, he had murdered someone who didn't deserve it.

He had turned into a monster.

He dropped the weapon to the ground and got rid of his gloves as fast as he could, he looked at Liam, his sapphires fixed on the almonds for a few seconds, he could feel his brother's pain, fear and disappointment.

"Louis..." Niall's voice next to him broke him out of his trance, the blonde grabbed his arm but Louis released his grip and went out the door as he watched the guards begin to lift the bodies off the ground.

He ran. He fled like he never had before. What the hell just happened?

He opened the car door and got in. He needed to get out of there as soon as possible. He needed to be alone, he couldn't be trusted.

"Someone follow him!" Ordered the almond-eyed alpha and one of the guards ran to another of the cars.

"What just happened Li?" Niall asked, paralyzed as he watched Louis's weapon next to that girl's innocent blood. There was fear in his eyes, for the first time in his life he was afraid of his brother.

"I don't know, but we have to go before the police arrive and find out what happened here."

"That's something I never could and never will be able to forgive myself," he spoke in a calm voice as he looked straight ahead, he had avoided making eye contact with Harry the whole time, but he could feel the huge emerald eyes staring at him, "the life of that girl she was taken away with my hands and she didn't deserve it. She was just a child."

"But it wasn't your fault, you were just trying to threaten the man and his wife scared you, you pulled the trigger as an involuntary reflex, not because you wanted to." He put his hand up to Louis's cheek and made him look at him. "We all have blood in our hands, but that does not define us, that does not make us different, I know that you are the most wonderful man I have ever met. I know that as much as I know that you wouldn't hurt anyone who didn't deserve on purpose."

"But that doesn't take away the fact that I murdered her, Harry, that I threatened to sell an omega, a person... a girl as if she were an object... So don't try to justify my actions, and don't tell me it wasn't my intention either, because I know exactly what I did, which is why I stopped carrying weapons with me, until... well..." He looked down at his lap, his eyes guilt-ridden and Harry could feel his alpha's pain as if it were his own.

"Lou, listen to me..."

"No Harry," he cut him off, "I wanted to tell you this because I want you to know the real me, the person I can become at any moment that requires it." He looked directly into his eyes, his brow furrowed and his jaw tense. "I know that I joke about having puppies, and that I think every night before I go to sleep and every morning before I wake up about proposing to you, and that I want to shout to the whole world that you are with me, but I can't do any of that before you know that I am a bad person, and that the blood of that girl is not the only blood that stains my hands, what we do is not right under any circumstances, the life we lead is something that is simply not right, and I want you to be aware of that , I don't want to start a family with you if our children will grow up the same way I did. I don't want them too..." Harry's eyes crystallised when he heard the suffering his alpha was going through, and he couldn't help but get close to hug him tightly without letting him continue.

"You're not a bad person and I'll never see you as such," he whispered into his ear, "you're my alpha and I'm your omega, I don't see you as less than that. Blood, we both have blood on our hands, it's a risk we should have taken to take care of our family, and I've already made my peace with that, and while we're together I'm going to take care of you just like you once told me." The alpha looked at him confused, not knowing what Harry was talking about, and a small smile lit up the curly man's face. "You thought that I was asleep and that I wasn't listening to you, but I was still aware of what was happening around me and you told me 'I promise to take care of you like the thorns take care that no one takes the rose's bush."' the alpha smiled and kissed the hands of his omega.

"That was something my father told me, Kasper Malik," he settled more comfortably and pulled Harry close to him, put his arm around the omega's back and hugged him, "'You must promise to take care of your family like thorns They take care of the rose bush, Icarus Rose is your new home, and you are the only one who can protect it'." He quoted. "I didn't understand it at the time, I knew I had to protect my family, but I never understood the metaphor of the thorns and the rose bush, and I know it's silly because everyone understands it, but I was young," he placed a kiss on the omega's head and smiled, "but when I lost you, I understood that taking care of my family like the thorns take care of the rose bush meant always being there for them, always being there when they needed me, and most importantly, making sure that nobody took away the most beautiful thing in the world, my beautiful rose."

"That makes you my dagger... dangerous, but with a charm that won't let me take my eyes off it, and most importantly, the same dagger that I know will never cut me." Harry added and Louis laughed.

"The rose and the dagger," he said quietly, "I like it."

"My love, you don't need to fix yourself so much, let's just go see the doctor, you will have to remove the shirt, the sweater, the other sweater, and the coat." Liam said as he approached his omega.

"Li, leave me alone, it's extra cold outside and I don't want to get sick." The alpha's arms surrounded Zayn's waist and he smiled at the touch. The reality was that he was nervous to see if his baby was healthy, and had gone through a lot of stress and hard times during the first month of his pregnancy. He was frightened by the simple idea of his baby being sick. That afternoon they made an appointment, but kept it a secret, since they would all be trying to get to know the news as soon as possible, and would not let them have that moment for them, and although Harry and Louis were not at home, Niall was enough to make the omega go crazy.

"Don't worry," Liam said with a soft voice, "I promise you won't catch a flu just for going out with one less coat."

After leaving a kiss on his omega's cheek they both left the room in the direction of the car. The trip was not very long since the medical office they were going to was a bit more like a private thing, and was not in the centre of the city because it was not open to the general public. The alpha did not let go of the hand of his omega during the entire course while Zayn tried to concentrate his gaze on the window to think about the best of the situation, and once they were inside the place, the receptionist told them to get in, the doctor was ready for them.

"Very well, you can leave your clothes here, this is the robe you have to wear. The doctor will be with you in a few seconds." They both nodded and Zayn began to take off his clothes to get the robe, everything under the watchful eye of the alpha. It was not a lie that Liam was also nervous, but he knew that he had to stay calm to transmit security to his omega, as he had always done, but very deep down in his mind he had begun to list several names that he liked for his little baby boy or girl. Minutes later someone knocked on the door and Liam told him to pass, it was an elderly beta and a small badge that said 'Dr. Salzman'.

"What a great day, don't you think? How are you feeling? I am Dr. Salzman and I will be the one who will attend you throughout the pregnancy." He had a calm tone in his voice and emanated security. Zayn gave him a smile as he settled better on the stretcher and Liam took him by the hand. "It's to my understanding that it is your first pregnancy, Mr. Malik, so we will try to pass it in the best possible way, and make it as good and easy-going as we can." He said, and then spoke to Zayn again."I will lift your robe a little if it does not bother you."

"Sure, no problem." The beta lifted the robe letting Zayn's abdomen see and placed some gel and then took the device to him.

Everyone's looks went to the screen where an image was just beginning to see. A small beat began to fill the silence of the office and an immediate smile appeared in all. The omega's eyes began to shine as they had never done before and the room was filled with the beautiful aroma of happiness emanating from his body.

"There you are! " The doctor exclaimed. "Here is your little baby, their heartbeat is heard very healthy and strong, we will see if we can have a clearer image." The device began to move slowly and a second beat was present, the doctor frowned and approached the screen to make sure his ears were not lying.

"Everything in order, doc?" Liam asked something confused by the man's expression, but he smiled and turned the screen a little more so they had a better panorama of it.

"Congratulations! You will be having twins." He said, pointing at the screen and the eyes of both the omega and the alpha opened in surprise. "Here is baby number one, and... give me a second... here is baby number two." He pointed at the screen with his finger.

The omega's eyes filled with tears as soon as the two small beats became clearer and looked at Liam, who was in the same conditions.

"We will have two puppies, Li." Cried and his alpha kissed his forehead, those words had come out from the bottom of his heart, the joy he had not had in a long time returned to his being.

"The photos are printing, so I will leave you two alone for a few seconds to prepare all the documents, here are some paper towels so that your alpha can clean the gel, excuse me." The man went out and immediately Liam hugged the omega strongly.

There was an ocean of emotions in both, none could believe that they would actually have two puppies, it would not only be a little baby, but two beautiful children would be running out of the house and protecting each other. They would have the opportunity to grow with someone, just as they had done.

"I can't wait to tell my mother, she will be very happy to hear that she will be having two grandchildren, and Niall ..." Uncontrollable tears went out through the eyes of the chestnut and Liam only cleaned them with the torso of his hand. "Niall will be very happy to know that he will be uncle of two little ones, and Louis, he ..." He could not finish due to the sobs that escaped his throat. I was happy and the hormonal change did nothing easy to hide it.

"I am sure that everyone will be very happy with the news, although no one as much as I am. You have given me the opportunity to be a father, thank you."

"Liam ... don't do that. I am going to cry even more." He said while even more tears began to fall and alpha laughed.

"Okay, darling. Now, get dressed so that we can go home and break the news to everyone." He approached his lips and kissed them. "I love you, I will pay for the consultation, I won't be far away, just a couple minutes."

The alpha walked to the reception to wait for the doctor to approach him to be able to speak as it was due, the omega who had welcomed them gave him the account and he paid with a check.

"Mr. Payne, here are the forms you need to fill out," the doctor said as he handed him two sheets of paper and a pen, "everything seems to be in order, the pregnancy is going as it should and I look forward to seeing you every month."

"Dr. Salzman, I'd like to talk about something important with you." His tone was serious and the doctor took a better stance. I don't know if you're aware of who we are or what we do, or who we are." He rested the hand in which he was wearing the mafia ring on the counter where the omega was, the beta's gaze fell on that jewellery and a bit of tension filled the room. "My omega is a very important man to many people and I would like to be sure that we have your word to keep medical appointments as discreet as possible."

"Of course, Mr. Payne, rest assured that all medical appointments are kept in doctor-patient confidentiality, and unless Mr. Malik asks me to report something to someone, things stay between us and the medical staff from my clinic." The alpha smirked and nodded.

"Thank you, I would also like to tell you that we prefer that the following appointments are done at our home, to avoid going out if it is not necessary, and I am aware that what I am about to say may be overwhelming for you, but a car would here to pick you up, they will cover your eyes to keep the location of the house a secret." The beta swallowed and nodded. "They won't hurt you unless you do something worth it." Once he observed that Zayn was leaving the office, he smiled and shook the doctor's hand. "Okay, I'll fill out the paperwork and look forward to seeing you in a month."

Without further ado, he gave him a smile and turned to fill out the sheets that the doctor had brought him. They were basically data that would help in case of an emergency, if Zayn was allergic to something, his blood type, recent illnesses, ongoing illnesses, family medical history, among other things.

When they were finally ready to go back to the house, the doctor gave them the three small ultrasound photos of the twins and they both left the place along with their bodyguards. Fifteen minutes later the car stopped in front of their home and they were already waiting for them, Niall accompanied by Shawn, and Barbara on the other side. Niall reached over to open Zayn's door and almost snatched the small photos from his hand and a cry of excitement left his mouth.

"What do the two little balls mean?" Asked the alpha with a confused face to Zayn, who was standing next to him. Barbara walked over to them and looked at the sonography.

"It means there are two babies, Niall." Explained the omega and Niall's eyes widened in surprise as did his mouth. Barbara approached her son to hug him and kiss his cheek.

"TWO BABIES?!" He yelled again and Shawn went over to them to look at the sonography too. "I can't believe it, Zayn. THERE ARE TWO BABIES IN YOU BELLY!"

"We don't either, Niall," Liam said once he was next to his omega, "now you'll have to buy matching outfits for both of them." Niall hugged them both.

"Congratulations to both of you, I hope your children grow up healthy." The curly man spoke this time.

"Thank you very much." Said the brown-eyed alpha. "We better go inside, it's cold outside and it's almost time for dinner."
