December had arrived in all its splendour, welcoming the season with a heavy snowfall, everyone in the house was running from one place to another trying to get everything perfect before noon. The date of the usual annual meeting in the Malik's house was approaching, it was a meeting with all the heads of the biggest mafias from all over the world. It was a huge dinner that they had in Icarus Rose with all their most important partners and their families. It was one of the nights in which everyone agreed to attend in a peaceful way to celebrate the Christmas holidays and receive the year in the best way.

The dinner was held a week before Christmas Eve so that everyone could return safely to their homes to spend the festivities at home. In the mansion, the preparations began on the first day of December, since it was necessary to move all the furniture in the great room so that there would be a table for each guest and their family.

Zayn had made the decision to announce the news that night, he was close to a month pregnant and to keep drinking the alpha essence was not in his plans. He was scared, he hadn't made an announcement of such magnitude since he took over the mafia, and he was sure that some alphas wouldn't approve him, the fact of him being an omega and that he is leading Icarus Rose, although as he had done last time, he would shoot anyone who dared to doubt his abilities as the making crown on Icarus Rose.

"Should I wear the black or the blue suit?" Asked the omega as he looked at himself in the mirror in only his underwear, his alpha looked at him from the bed and smiled.

"The one you prefer, you'll look just as good with what you wear, my love." He assured and Zayn looked at his reflection in the mirror with a disapproving and tired face.

"I'm serious, I don't want them to see me badly..." He looked at his abdomen and tilted his head. "Do you think I'm showing yet?" The alpha laughed and stood up. He wrapped his arms around his omega's waist and rested his head on his shoulder as he gazed into the mirror.

"You're not even in your first month yet, and you barely have any cravings yet." He kissed his neck right where the bite was. "Of course the people can't tell yet, but I, on the other side, can't wait to see how our little one grows inside you."

The omega turned around and hugged Liam lovingly. His words always soothed him, even at times like this when he felt like his heart might burst out of his chest. Someone knocked on the door three times and it opened just a crack.

"Mr. Payne, your presence is requested in another room." A beta announced, his gaze fixed on the floor.

"Okay, I'll be there in a moment." The door closed and the alpha went back to what he was doing before, hugging Zayn tightly and lifting him off the ground.

"What are you doing?" He asked between laughs.

"Nothing, I'm just going to put you to bed so you don't go anywhere. I'll be back in less than a second." He kissed the lips of his omega and almost ran away.

In another room the door was kept locked, Louis didn't want anyone bothering them, or telling them that they had to get up. He for sure wasn't going to wake Harry up. That night the omega had slept almost on top of Louis, the cold winter made him want to feel the warmth of his alpha for reasons he didn't understand, but it wasn't something that bothered either of them. Louis' arms wrapped around the curly's back, who had decided to sleep shirtless that night, and in a way that made the alpha feel happier with the simple fact of thinking that his omega was more confident of himself, and that he felt more comfortable around him.

A soft tired purr filled the silence of the room, a smile appeared on the face of the alpha who, in a subtle movement, turned around to be on top of the omega.

"Good morning..." Harry greeted with a thicker voice than usual and without opening his eyes. The alpha came up to his lips and kissed him calmly. "Lou, I haven't brushed my teeth yet." The omega growled and turned his head to the side.

"That doesn't bother me," he laughed, "we should sleep like this more often, you look like a little bear." He began to kiss the neck of his omega and he giggled.

"What time is it?" The omega finally opened his eyes and blinked multiple times to get used to the light that came through the window. He looked at the small clock that was on the bedside table and sighed.

"You don't have to get up if you don't want to." He assured after leaving a small mark on his omega's neck and a smile appeared on his face. "In fact, we don't have to be ready until the afternoon. So we can stay here all day, if you want to."

There was something about Harry's scent that morning that made Louis want to tear himself away from him. It was a little sweeter and more intoxicating than usual.

"I'm sure Zayn wants us ready by noon, and that's an hour away." The older ignored Harry's comments and continued kissing his neck, trailing kisses from his temple to his collarbone. The omega couldn't help but smile at that feeling that was beginning to appear in his stomach."Lou..."

"Yes?"

"What are you doing?"

"I'm just showing you my love in a way I haven't, but if you want me to stop you just have to say so." He raised his head enough to see the green orbs of his omega.

"We should start getting ready." The alpha smiled and nodded before getting out of bed.

And although he wished to say that in less than an hour they were ready, the truth is that Louis could not detach himself from Harry, because he was hugging him or giving him kisses everywhere all the time. He would even have gotten into the shower with him if the omega hadn't told him that he needed a moment to get prettier for the alpha, although the blue-eyed thought that was impossible. Could his omega be even prettier than usual?

Louis put on the shiny black suit that Harry had chosen for him, and Harry a pink suit with some flowers embroidered, now Louis definitely wouldn't let him out of his sight at any time that night, he didn't want any prying eyes on his omega.

A beta went to announce that Zayn needed them at the entrance of the house as soon as possible, as there were details that needed to be taken care of and the guests would start arriving soon. In the hall Louis cornered Harry on one of the pillars of the house and latched onto his neck.

"You smell especially delicious today, darling. Did you know?" He asked as he began to place kisses on Harry's cheek.

"No, but I think you've let me know since I woke up. Is your heat supposed to start any time soon?" Harry was worried about ruining his suit so early on, so he tried to separate himself from the alpha a bit. "Louis, they can see us. We're in the middle of the corridor, get yourself together."

"And what if I want everyone to know that the most beautiful omega in all of Europe is mine?"

"I think you've made it pretty clear, now come on. Zayn is going to be mad if we don't hurry up and do what he told us to do."

Reluctantly Louis pulled away from Harry and took his hand to start walking back down the hall. Why couldn't he just stand them all up and lose himself in the scent of his omega?

At sunset all the guests were spread out at the tables in the great room, including Mr. Mendes, his wife and children, who apparently were willing to negotiate with Icarus Rose. Louis made a mental note of the meeting they had pending with them after the parties. Everyone wondered where Zayn was, because every year without fail he was the one who received them, but this year they had been welcomed by Tomlinson and that omega who had been introduced to them as the future Mr. Tomlinson, they all greeted him in a pleasant way and Harry couldn't tell if they had actually liked him or if it was just the ring that hung around his neck that caused that reaction.

"Good evening dear partners, I hope you are having a pleasant evening so far. Mr. Malik will be here shortly, with an important announcement to make." Niall began to speak, he was standing next to Louis and Harry.

"We hope to have the pleasure of continuing to do business with each and every one of you this coming year, some of you are here for the first time, I hope you enjoy the dinner." Louis continued, and the doors to the room opened, revealing the silhouette of a man.

All the guests turned to see Zayn and were speechless when they saw the image that had been presented to them. The honey-eyed man was wearing a navy blue suit with an open white shirt, revealing perfectly well the silver mark that adorned his neck, and behind him was Liam, with a hand on his lower back and smiling with pride at being able, for the first time, to touch a little more of his omega in public.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my home." Zayn spoke, still under the attentive gaze of those present. "As you can see, I have many things to explain."

He stood in the middle of the room, right in front of his brothers and still with Liam at his side, the alphas and omega smiled proudly at the fact that Zayn never looked down, even if they were surrounded by so many powerful alphas.

"As you can see, all this time I have been pretending to be an alpha, all at the request of my late father, using the same product that Icarus Rose sells throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and soon America as well. This makes me the first omega ever to be in charge of this or any other mafia, just like the one who has ascended to power the youngest and I consider the one who has made his word true the most. I hope that the news does not change my business with any of you, my dear partners, because you would be making a huge mistake." He said with a firm and strong voice, nobody said anything, they could only read some expressions of surprise and, fortunately, only two or three of discontempt.

Zayn smiled and unconsciously brought his hand to his still flat stomach.

"I also have the honour to announce that Mr. Payne, my alpha, and I are awaiting the future heir or heiress of Icarus Rose."

Mr. Mendes began to applaud, along with his entire family, and from there the other partners followed. The news was accepted better than he had expected.

"Congratulations, Mr. Malik. I am a faithful believer that the strength of the omegas is enormous. I really hope that next year our business will be carried out satisfactorily." Said Mr. Mendes with a smile, Zayn thanked them and they continued to receive congratulations from other partners.

The evening passed quietly, and by twelve o'clock Niall had a chance to get close to the one omega he hadn't taken his eyes off of all night. Shawn and his sister were deep in a very interesting discussion about the decoration of the house when the blond alpha approached them.

"I hope you now know who I am, young Mendes." Horan muttered mockingly, Shawn rolled his eyes and smiled a little.

"I've already had the pleasure of being told a little about you, Mr. Horan. Let me introduce you to my younger sister, Layla Mendes."

"Nice to meet you, Miss Mendes. Niall Horan." The alpha introduced himself, as the omega shook hands with him.

"The pleasure is mine, Mr. Horan. I'll leave you alone, if you pardon me." She said goodbye and left the place, but not before winking at his brother.

"Traitor." Shawn whispered before giving Niall a smile. "So, Mr. Horan. How have you been enjoying yourself? Let me tell you what a lovely house you have."

"Leave the formalities aside, please. Call me Niall," the alpha said with a smile, "after all, we're going to be partners."

"You're going to do business with my father, not me." Shawn clarified, Niall nodded.

"Still, I hope to have the pleasure of seeing you more often. How has London treated you?"

"It's a charming city, yes." Answered the omega and got a little closer to the blonde, brushing his lips against his left ear. "But I find the alphas here even more charming."

Niall smirked and winked at him, Shawn laughed and broke away from the blond, all under the watchful eye of Mr. Mendes, who hadn't taken one eye off them since his youngest daughter left them alone.

"I can guess you're not from around here, right? You have a slightly different accent." The omega added.

"You're right. I'm actually from Ireland, but I've lived in the UK since I was a kid." The alpha answered, taking a sip from the glass in his hand.

"I see, and would it be very rude if I asked the reason?"

"I guess that's a story for another day." Niall replied with a small smile.

"And what makes you think I even want to see you again?" The brunette questioned and Niall burst out laughing.

"I just know we'll meet again, darling." He winked at him and started to walk away. "Enjoy the rest of the night, Shawn."

The omega laughed and waved goodbye to the alpha, he definitely wanted to see him again sometime soon, anyway, he would be his father's partner.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the room, Louis had left Harry alone with Zayn and the only reason for this was because he had to go to the bathroom, but all night he had held his arm while they talked to important people, of course not without introducing him as his future omega, it had been a miracle that he hadn't asked them not to look at him for more than ten seconds.

"Zayn, can I talk to you about something?" Harry muttered as soon as he made sure no one was listening, the omega looked at him expectantly.

"Did something happen? Did any of the guests make you feel uncomfortable? Because I can request that they take them out immediately." Zayn said, making the curly-haired man smile.

"Louis wouldn't allow it, the only thing he hasn't done yet is to stand on the roof and yell at everyone that he is courting me." He smiled even more when he thought of his alpha.

"Don't let him listen to you, we both know that he's very capable of doing that." Zayn joked and both omegas laughed.

"This is what I want to talk to you about, Zee, and I would talk to Niall too if it weren't for... well." He looked at the blond alpha, who was talking to a partner and his wife, suddenly making strange signs with his hands. Zayn let out a laugh and shook his head. "And well, you're... You know, you and Liam are already..."

"Don't tell me you're pregnant too, that's why you smell so sweet and Louis won't come off you!" He muttered in surprise, Harry immediately shook his head.

"Zayn, no. What I mean is that Liam already bit you." The dark-haired man opened his eyes and a smile crept onto his face.

"What exactly do you want to talk about, Harry?"

"I want Louis to bite me." He blurted out all at once.

"Put that ring on and let him have a heart attack when he gets back from the bathroom." Zayn said mischievously, Harry shook his head without erasing his smile.

"I would like to do something more special than just putting on the ring, something that is intimate for both of us. He has tried so hard these weeks of courtship, and he has made me feel so protected and special since he asked permission to do so." His cheeks were now flushed and he forced himself to look down, Zayn was looking at him tenderly.

"I have a plan, but we'll have to go shopping tomorrow. You're going to need a couple of things for then. We'll talk about this later because some very territorial alphas are coming." As soon as he finished speaking, Louis and Liam appeared, hugging their omegas.

"Everything okay, Hazz? Has anyone bothered you?" Louis asked, leaving a small kiss on the lips of the omega, who shook his head.

"Nothing other than congratulations on Zayn's pregnancy and some people asking what I gave you to make you decide to settle down, any comment on that, Tomlinson?" Harry replied with a playful smile.

"Well, not in my defence, but I can say that you only had to look at me for a second to make me love you with me all my life." He tightened his grip on the omega's waist a little.

"Save your cheesiness for later, will you? Or do you want the partners to think you're going soft, Louis?"

The four began to laugh, and so the evening went by, the last peaceful meeting of the year between mafias had been a complete success, and they hoped that it would continue like this for many more.
