Harry's rescue changed the whole house, under Zayn orders they declared one week of vacations in the house, they also agreed that Harry's mother and sister would be welcomed in the house to accompany the omega in his recovery and, although Liam was not very fan of it, they left the matter without solving it at all. They knew it was good for everyone to have a break from all those stressful weeks that had just gone through.

"Let's go get some dinner, I'll tell Barbara that Harry is finally back home." Said Zayn, and almost ran from the place. Louis looked at Harry, who was still almost naked and with a knot was present in his throat. The omega's eyes caught the alpha's gaze and smiled.

"Is everything alright?" Louis shook his head trying to endure the tears. But Harry could feel inside him that Louis was not right. He smiled and took him by the hand. "I think you haven't given me my hug yet."

A smile appeared on the face of the alpha as he approached him. He slipped his arms below the jacket of the omega, and hugged him, raising him in the air. The Omega hid his face in his neck and with a huge smile on his face he breathed deeply. Holy hell, he had missed that scent.

Everyone stood there, watching the scene, but they said nothing, knowing perfectly well that they both had many issues to talk about among them. Niall signed them to go to the dining room and left them alone for a few minutes.

"You need to get dressed." The Alfa whispered. Harry tangled his legs around Louis's waist and smiled. "I suppose that is a 'Take me to my room because I can't nor want to walk' right?"

He started walking to the stairs, and not a single word was said. The looks of some employees stopped in them with surprise but they ignored them, being locked in their small bubble. Louis took them to his room, after all, he had spent so much time in Harry's that now the room smelled like him, and he didn't want Harry to discover it... yet. He didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable after all that had happened.

He opened his door and entered his room. It was a disaster, papers everywhere, thrown furniture and clothes on the ground, and the omega observed everything with curiosity of knowing what had happened in his absence. Louis delicately lay him on his bed and quickly turned to clean a few tears that had fallen along the way.

"You can use whatever you want, tomorrow I will bring your things here because I will not leave you alone for a long time." He said while turning his back to Harry, who laughed under his breath.

"Thank you."

"Why?" He turned around. "If it weren't because of me, nothing of this would have happened to you." Harry shook his head.

"And if it hadn't been for you, I would still be in that hotel room, probably dead by now." Louis looked down at the ground. Harry stood up and approached him. "So, thanks."

The blue-eyed nodded in response and felt the arms of the omega surrounding his neck. His eyes found those beautiful emerald orbs and got lost in the beautiful forest that they reflected. He kissed his forehead and smiled.

"You get dressed before your mother comes here to see what we are doing." Louis joked and separated from Harry.

"By my mother you mean Niall, right?" A laugh left Louis's mouth and then he left the room to give Harry some well needed privacy.

"I'll bet a million pounds that they'll be together by the end of the week." Niall said cheerfully as he looked at Zayn, who burst out laughing.

"Well, I bet a million more that they will be together in three days." Jane looked at them with a frown, knowing perfectly well what they meant by those bets, but she couldn't hide a soft laugh that came from her mouth.

"Well, I'll bet a million that they'll be together when they get back from upstairs, it's been a long time." Liam spoke up this time, earning two surprised looks from Niall and Zayn.

"Don't tell me you're up to your stupid bets again?" Louis asked from the dining room door announcing his arrival. Next to him, and wearing the alpha's clothes, was Harry with his arm intertwined with the alpha's. "We are supposed to be adults now!" He said playfully.

"Ha!" Liam exclaimed "You two owe me a million each."

"What were you betting on?" Asked the curly one this time as he took a seat next to his mother.

"They were betting on who..."

"Nothing important, curly. Don't worry about it." Niall clarified, interrupting the beta's words "Now you have to eat because you need to be strong."

"Here's your dinner, and I baked a chocolate cake especially for Harry." Barbara said walking into the dining room, accompanied by two omegas behind her with trays in their arms, the woman immediately rushed to hug Harry. "It's good that you're safe and back at home now, honey. But just look at you, so thin. I'll have to give you a double ration to get you back to normal, my poor baby boy."

Harry smiled at the woman's words, and she put his dinner in front of him. The food that night was chicken salad and chocolate cake. Louis tried to take a bit of the chocolate frost with his finger, but the omega hit his hand before he could even touch the dessert.

"Louis, don't be rude. That cake belongs to Harry!" Barbara scolded him.

"But my omega shares with me. Doesn't he, Harry?" Asked the alpha and the cheeks of the mentioned blushed in a bright red.

"I don't see a bite on his neck. So, for now he doesn't share with you. You're going to have to hurry, honey." Barbara answered, when she was about to leave, Zayn called her.

"Barbara, why don't you sit down to dinner with us? Please, I know you never want to sit here, but at least tonight." The omega begged with a small pout on his lips.

"Oh, darling. But you have visitors." Replied the omega.

"You're family, please."

"And you could give me the recipe for the chicken to turn out like this, it's delicious." Said Jane, to which Barbara nodded and finally sat down at the table.

Zayn thought they could invite Harry's mom more often if it meant Barbara could have dinner with them. They already felt like family.

About two hours went by before they decided to go to bed. Kane and Stella were escorted by Niall to their respective rooms and thanked him for his kindness. For their part, Louis and Harry went up to the alpha's room and changed into more comfortable clothes to sleep in.

Louis still had that strange feeling in his chest, fear. He didn't want something bad to happen to Harry again. He didn't want to lose him now that he knew they were meant to be together. But there was another part of him that wanted to ask him about what had happened those two weeks, wanted to know how he could help him feel better, needed to make him feel better. His inner alpha was screaming for him to come over and help, but he didn't want to do anything that might bother him or force him to talk either. He knew perfectly well that what had happened wasn't something that would be easily forgotten, it would take a while for him to return to normality after what happened.

"Are you okay?" The omega asked as he looked at him with concern, Louis nodded and climbed onto the bed as he sat leaning his back against the headboard.

"You? Are you alright?"

"I am now." They both smiled. Harry approached the alpha and leaned his head on his shoulder. Even though he was tired, he didn't want to sleep yet. He knew that Louis would protect him, but he was afraid.

"You know," he spoke calmly, "I had a crazy idea." He took the omega's hand and started playing with his fingers while he smiled. "We should go away for a while."

Harry smiled at the idea, which in his opinion wasn't bad at all. Running away together for a while sounded like a pretty romantic idea.

"Where will we go? You can't just leave your job like that." Louis laughed.

"Of course I can. I'm the boss, it's not like anyone is going to stop me or something like that." He said as he rested his head on Harry's. "But seriously, we should go to the vineyard Zayn gave me."

"Where is that?"

"In New Zealand, have you ever been there?" the omega shook his head. "It is a beautiful place, it has enormous fields and landscapes that will leave you speechless."

"Tell me more." He asked in a sleepy voice and moved closer to Louis.

"I've only been there a few times, but what little I've seen is beautiful, and where the vineyard is there's a huge crop of grapes to make the wine, tomorrow I'll give you some to taste." He laced his fingers with Harry's and caressed the torso of his hand with his thumb.

"I'm not sure wine is my thing."

"You say that because you haven't tried what they do in my vineyard," Harry chuckled, "but we can go someday, just tell me and we'll be there as soon as possible, we can relax and take in the view of the place."

The blue-eyed continued telling the omega about that place until he felt that he had fallen asleep, then he settled down carefully not to wake him up and hugged him tightly.

"I promise to protect you like the thorns that protect the rose for it not to be stolen." He whispered in the ear of the curly omega, quoting that phrase that his father had made him promise when he joined the mafia.

"You must promise that you will protect your family as the thorns defend the rose, Icarus Rose is your new home, and you are the only one who can protect it."

He got up from the bed, being careful not to wake his omega and admired him for a moment. His sharp jaw and his parted lips mixed with his soft breathing made him look angelic, the moonlight that was reaching through the window softly kissing his skin, and he swore to make anyone who dared to hurt Harry pay, he would take care of making him happy at all times. He took out his phone and in a low voice made some requests, taking care that the omega didn't wake up from his sleep, everything had to be perfect.

He was finally able to sleep, hugging his omega against his chest. His alpha purred with delight and filled his lungs with the sweetest scent of fruit and cinnamon before losing consciousness of himself. Right at that moment there was nothing but him, his omega and that pleasant feeling that was beginning to settle in his chest, and everything started to feel like home.

The next morning Louis called a meeting, with everyone he considered his family, in the main room of the house. Jane and Stella were in the middle of the largest couch, with Niall next to the mother of the omega, because he had not wanted to take a single step far from the woman since she told him that she had a special recipe of lemon pie. Barbara besides Stella, and Zayn and Liam in another chair. Discreetly holding their hands hoping that no one would notice. They all looked at each other, wondering with their eyes what the alpha was planning. Of course Zayn knew it, because very early that same morning he had gone to talk to him in his office about what he would do, and the omega couldn't agree more with the decision that he made.

Louis finally went downstairs and entered the room with the omega taking his hand, trying to be as close to the alpha as possible. Both of them were already presentable as if it were a normal day of work, but the determination in the ocean-colored gaze of the alpha told them it was anything but that.

"Good morning everyone. I have something important to discuss with you." Louis said as soon as he was in front of his family. Everyone was looking at him with questioning eyes, even the omega who was holding his hand.

"And why did you ask to meet us so early? Couldn't you wait a few more hours?" Niall asked reproachfully, Louis rolled his eyes and Stella reached out to smack him. "Hey!"

"Niall, it's ten o'clock." Zayn hissed.

"As I was telling you before that little interruption. There is an important thing, and above all I must tell Jane and Stella. I want everyone else here to witness this moment, because you are all my family."

The omega was more than confused. What did Louis have to say to her? There were no grudges, her puppy was in front of her, he was in one whole piece, everything was okay, and now she could sleep peacefully, and she had let him know that already.

"Louis, darling. There is nothing to discuss, you promised me that you would find my puppy, that he would be in one piece, and you have fulfilled it. I have nothing left to thank you for doing it."

"You're wrong, Jane, and when we talked I asked you for something else. But I feel I have to do it again formally." With a sign he asked an omega to come closer. He had two green velvet boxes in his hands and handed one to Stella and another to Jane. "As you know, it is customary to give a piece of jewellery with a stone the colour of the omega's eyes to their mother as a form of asking for permission to court him, and that is what I wanted to do right now, with everyone here. Not only to you, Jane, but also to Stella, to court Harry. I would like to be for him the alpha he deserves."

Jane opened the box and found a pair of tiny green diamond earrings, and Stella found a bracelet with the same diamonds, they looked at the alpha in surprise and Harry's mother smiled widely.

"Well, Louis. I think I have already given you my answer, but I think it's not me who should answer that question, but my son." The omega expressed with a smile on her face.

Louis looked at Harry, who hadn't said a single word since they entered the room. His eyes were shining due to the tears that were beginning to gather from happiness, he never thought that an alpha would do something like that for him, and it wasn't even about the price of the jewels, but about the intention with which he did it. Louis took the omega's hands and caressed them with a big smile on his lips, he looked into his eyes and blurted out the words that everyone expected to hear.

"Harry, would you allow me to start courting you?"

Harry didn't say anything, the tears began to flow from his orbs and Louis carefully wiped them away. Those present were eagerly awaiting the omega's response, and Louis was getting more and more nervous. Just when he thought he would say no, Harry spoke.

"Are you for real?" He asked with a small voice, Louis laughed softly and nodded.

"Yes, I am."

"Then yes, I allow you to start courting me." He whispered loud enough for the alpha to hear his words, and he didn't hesitate for a second to hug him tightly, always taking care not to hurt his wounds.

I would always take care of him.

They parted a bit and from his pocket Louis took out another smaller blue velvet box, he opened it and from it he took out a chain. Harry looked at him confused but without erasing the huge smile on his face. He expected many things, from for Louis to say that it represented something profound like the future bond they would form or something, except for what he did next.

He took off his ring, the same ring that represented his bond and loyalty to Icarus Rose, and put it on the chain. Which he latter gently placed around Harry's neck, all under the watchful eyes of those present.

"The day you stop wearing this ring around your neck and start to wear it on your finger. That day I'll know that you accept my mark on your neck and Icarus Rose as your family." Muttered the alpha and tears fell down the omega's face again. He moved his head a little and looked at Zayn.

The fear that he would be angry about what Louis had just done was beginning to invade him, since it was something very important to give him a ring that represented so much power, it could offend more than one person, but the moment Zayn gave him a nod and a smile. His body relaxed and he threw himself into the arms of his alpha, or the one who was going to be his alpha after the court ended, although the two knew perfectly well that they did not need any bite to be sure that they had always been destined to happen.

"Well, welcome to the Styles family, Louis," Jane announced, giving her now son-in-law a hug, "and keep proving that you're the alpha my puppy deserves."

Louis nodded before letting go of the woman, who immediately hugged her little one with euphoria. Stella approached Louis and also hugged him, which surprised him because he thought that the beta didn't like him, but it was definitely something that made him happy, nothing compared to being accepted in his omega's family.

"You better take better care of him now, brother-in-law. Or I'll make sure that you never see the light of day ever again." Stella said, patting Louis on the back, who laughed and nodded.

"My boy, I always thought you would be the last to court someone." Barbara said, running to hug Louis as soon as Stella stepped away from him.

"I know he's the right one, I feel it in my heart. Just like you told us, remember?" Louis said excitedly, because his mother had not been the only one to tell him about the destined alphas and omegas. Barbara also filled them with beautiful stories about achieving love in those summers they spent in the house.

"Well, our father didn't think so, Barbara." Zayn commented, earning the confused look of everyone present.

"What are you talking about?" Stella asked somewhat confused.

"Well, it turns out that when Louis was little. He went to tell my father how much he loved a little boy with green eyes and curly hair," Niall spoke, "or well, that's what they told me. I was too young to pay attention to something other than conquering Zayn." Everyone burst out laughing at the last comment.

"But we all knew about Harry. We didn't know him personally but we can say that we moved several things so that our little Lou could see his Hazzie one more time... and here we are." Zayn said, leaving the whole Styles family and Barbara with their mouths open.

"So it was all part of a master plan so Louis could be with Harry? You guys are some really weird mafia crowns." Added Stella.

"Well, whether it was a master plan or if it was life. I'm sure Louis and I were meant to be." Harry spoke softly, trying to hide the blush on his cheeks.

"Oh Harry, I'm glad you got an alpha like Lou. The two of you make a beautiful couple." Barbara replied as tears welled up in her eyes.

"I'm the lucky one." Replied the alpha and hugged Harry around the waist, the omega's eyes were slightly red from crying, but no one could take the smile off him.

The day was spent celebrating the new future union. There was even a time when Barbara complained to Liam for not asking for Zayn's hand in that way, but the alpha promised one day to do it. Zayn may have blushed a little and the omega could not fit the happiness of seeing those he considered his children to be so happy. She was already looking forward meeting a good omega to come into Niall's life.
