24 hours passed in which Louis did not leave his room at any time. The housemaids brought him food and only alphas could give it to him for safety. Louis had never had such a bad time during his heat and he had no idea why, but all he could think about was that probably the reason was that he hadn't been with someone since a long time ago, between the stress and the busyness of work it was impossible for him to properly go out and find someone, but he decided that it wasn't the best idea to think about that at right than moment, in the middle of his heat.

His whole body was tense and he had a certain pain that just wouldn't leave him alone, he needed to distract himself with something as soon as possible if he wasn't going to leave the room and do something he would for sure regret. He took the first thing he saw and threw it at the wall, causing it to break with a loud crash, he sighed and took a lamp before throwing it too. The tension in him was starting to release as he smashed the objects in his room, he knew it wasn't for the best and that Zayn would kill him, but it was helping way more than he expected to.

The night came again and he finally felt better, a whole day in that state was something he didn't think would happen again. He had showered and dressed by the time three knocks on the door caught his attention.

"What the..." Zayn walked in, pushing Louis out of his way when he saw the huge mess the room was in. "What the hell is wrong with you, Louis? Have you gone fucking nuts or something? What the hell were you thinking?" He asked angrily.

"I wasn't thinking, I was just trying to calm myself down. I'll call someone so they can fix all this mess."

"No! You reckless, stupid alpha." Louis looked at him with surprise. Zayn had never called him that in his whole life. "You won't make anyone clean up your little caveman alpha tantrum, you will do it yourself."

"Okay, I will clean this by myself."

"That's not the point... you better not pull again any other scene like this one. DO YOU HAVE A FUCK IDEA OF HOW EXEPNSIVE IS EVERY DAMN THING THAT YOU JUST BROKE?" His voice became a yell as he got angrier. "Damn impulsive alphas who can't behave properly, it seems that Harry and I are the only ones who think with our heads and not with..."

"Where is Harry" The alpha interrupted.

" Seriously? Are you fucking serious? You really are an idiot!" He walked to the door. "Didn't you hear anything I told you? I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!" Louis laughed a little and saw Zayn stormed out of his room.

"No one in this house respects the antiques we have!" He yelled from the hallway. "NOBODY! EVERYONE IS A BALL OF STUPID ALPHAS, AND WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING? DON'T YOU HAVE SOMETHING BETTER TO STARE AT OR WHAT?" He yelled at an alpha as he walked, who quickly shook his head and started walking in the opposite direction of Zayn, backing away from him in fear.

"FLY AWAY YOU COWARD!" He yelled at him before going downstairs. Louis let out a laugh and walked back into his room.

Zayn walked down the stairs and into the living room, still hurling insults at any alphas he met. Harry was sitting in one of the armchairs next to Niall, who was writing down some things on his computer, they both looked at the omega and smiled.

"What about you? Did the queen make you angry?" Niall asked and Zayn sat across from them as he put his hand on his face and sighed.

"Louis, not the Queen, not much difference though." Niall laughed and Harry bit the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing. Liam came to the room when he felt the annoyance in his omega through the bond, he sat next to him and caressed his leg to calm him down a bit. "He gets more and more annoying with time, you all do, you stupid alphas. Thank heaven Harry is now here, at least someone understands me, right?"

"But he wanted to go with Louis all this time." Niall blurted out, earning an elbow from Harry, the alpha laughed. "Curly, you're already getting a lot of confidence."

"Well, that's actually a good thing right now, because it seems that you're the only one he's going to listen to. Why don't you go tell him to start cleaning up everything he did?" He said and Harry nodded as he stood up.

"If you need help, yell." Niall teased and Harry rolled his eyes before walking up the stairs.

The curly omega went up the stairs and towards the alpha's room. Something inside him was a little scared, more than anything because he didn't know the reason why his body had reacted that way the previous day, but also because he did not know in what state he would find Louis. He sighed and touched the door three times before opening it.

"Can I come in?" He asked as he appeared his head a little through the door, he saw Louis get out of bed and walk to him.

"Sure, come in." The door opened a little more and smiled at him.

"Zayn sent me to tell you to clean up your room." Louis laughed and closed the door behind Harry.

He got a huge surprise when he saw all the destroyed things, there were feathers of the pillows everywhere, pieces of wood of some chairs that were in the room, among many other things, but the most surprising thing was the bed, the one that literally was departed in half. Harry looked at Louis with a frown.

"How the hell did you do that?" He asked in amazement. Louis laughed and approached the bed.

"Well, I don't really remember, but it doesn't matter, I already asked for another bed." He replied carefree. Harry sighed and looked everywhere. There was no way that Louis could clean all this mess by himself, he thought. He crouched down and began to raise some paintings that were on the floor, the alpha looked confused.

"What are you doing, Harry?" He asked. "You don't have to clean this."

"You can't clean it alone, and ... I want to help you." Since I couldn't do that before, he thought. Louis smiled and approached to help him.

Between the two they began to collect things that were spread all over the floor, some of those went to a garbage bag that had kindly been given to them by an omega, and the others that could be fixed or were not broken were put aside. After an hour, Zayn was curious as to why Harry hadn't returned yet, and when he entered the room, he had already prepared himself to see any kind of thing, except to see them together picking up the blue-eyed alpha's room, or what was left of it at least.

"Hey, I sent him to tell you to pick up everything, not for you to make him pick up your garbage." The omega joked with a huge smile on his face.

He left before an extra blushed Harry could say what he had in mind, and outside the room were Liam and Niall, waiting for Zayn to tell them what was happening inside.

"I bet that in a week those two are already going to be together." Said Zayn, releasing a huge laugh.

"Louis is extra stupid and Harry does not dare to say anything, I give them two weeks." Niall replied.

"I don't think it's okay for you to just bet on the love life of ..."

"How much do you want to lose, Horan? Two million?" Zayn interrupted, Liam rolled his eyes with fun.

"Make it three and one of your properties." The blond attacked, they narrowed their hands and the three left the hall to go to eat.

Meanwhile, Louis invited the omega to eat outside, which Harry accepted happily, because collecting the shattered alpha's room had been an adventure that had left him hungry.

They arrived at a restaurant that was in the centre of the city, everything was calm and the men felt strangely comfortable with the company of the other. They decided to sit at a somewhat remote table and asked for their food. Harry felt that was the moment in which he should tell the alpha the truth, that he was not a beta.

"Louis, I have to tell you something."

"Is everything okay, Harry? What happened?" Asked the blue-eyed man, but when Harry was ready to speak, an omega with a thin body and grey eyes approached Louis.

"Hi, I'm sorry. But I've been watching you since you got here and I think you're a very handsome alpha." the boy said, playing with the sleeve of his sweater, Harry bit his lower lip and looked down.

"It's an honour." Louis answered with a small smile, and if Harry thought there was a slim chance that Louis would notice him, he was now devastated.

"Could you...give me your number, maybe?" The boy asked, and Louis gave a small laugh, Harry's heart clenched.

"I'm sorry, but right now I'm not interested in dating anyone, I have too many things in mind to add a relationship to the list."

The boy nodded disappointedly and went back to his table. Harry was still looking down and barely daring to look at Louis, who smiled at him and motioned him to continue, but a waitress came with his food. And it wasn't until he was gone, that Harry had the courage to speak again, but not to say what he really wanted.

"I wanted to tell you that... I really appreciate everything you've done for me, and I consider you a very good friend." He answered, with a small nervous smile, Louis nodded, not very convinced and they began to eat.

Harry somewhat annoyed with himself for not daring to tell Louis what he had been keeping a secret about all this time, and Louis worried because he felt that something was wrong with the curly beta, and his alpha was desperate to calm that preoccupation of his, although he wasn't quite sure why or what it was.
