ARE YOU OF THE sun? or of icarus? are you a ball of energy burning bright bright bright and making people pay attention to you just by existing? or are a person stuck stuck stuck but dreaming of something behind? are you so high you touch the heavens and are pulsing and breathing stars and the galaxy and exhaling out golden rays — or are you falling like a shooting star, dying out in a brilliant explosion of flame and feather?

( ARE YOU A lover, crying and wanting to have your other half in your arms, to fit as a puzzle once more. or are you the other half, laughing into the sky as you fall with your burning arms outstretched as if your lover may catch you. are you an ichor god, heartbroken and angry, or are you a red blood mortal, free falling to your inevitable death with laughter in your eyes? )

or are you just a watcher, seeing the tragedies of two life times being written into the stars by gods and men, of two lovers trying to fit together without ending in flames and ruin.

━━ 💫💫💫 THE  SUMMARY!

ASTRAEA PARRISH-HIDAKA RAN hot. As the daughter of the sun god she was always warm, fire in her veins and a glow to her as if she were a piece of the sun herself. She was like a star, glowing and pulsing and something people looked upon in awe from far away- loved but cautious to not get burned. But like all stars, Astraea soon ran cold and died. But she did not collapse and explode in a beautiful supernova for people to gape at, instead she went quietly as she fell fell fell.

AND ASTRAEA SOON RAN cold. The warmth in her heart disintegrated and dead along with her sister, her blood and body as cold as her sister's corpse. But Astraea isn't really dead, even though she always thought she'd be the first of her sister and herself to go. She always thought she'd die from a monster, claw in her chest as she died in a showering supernova of gore and light. But it was her little sister, innocent and soft and so not meant for the demigod world, not meant to die out too soon.

AND NOW ASTRAEA IS cold and hot. A storm brewing in her chest, a battle of galaxies clanging in her head. And she is so, so, so dead. She is like the last star in the sky, and she'd do whatever she could to get the other stars back. To make the galaxy in her home right again. But to get her sister back, she makes a deal with the devil (a boy.) And suddenly things go sideways when she has to keep an eye on a boy who's a little too loyal and who trusts her. Even though she'll be the one to put the dagger through his back.

AND IT SEEMS ASTRAEA has forgotten she is not just a star. She is a sun. Blazing, angry, hot scorching sun. And while the sun is loving and giving to the world, it is also unforgiving. While the sun may shine like a soft blanket halo and give beauty to the grass and its people, it is also horrifying flame. It can also cause death of its fiery heat, take away the beautiful harmless heat and turn it to scorching blazes and dry the flowing water of the sea. It killed a man once, of wings and laughter, will it kill another, of sea and smiles?

WILL HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF, IN AN UNHAPPY ENDING OF TEARS, BLOOD AND FLAME?

( or maybe icarus can rise again and the sun will finally raise in rays of harmless golden light )
