"Remus!" Sirius called.
"Lily!" James called.
They waved at their significant others.
Lily noticed and jogged over to the boys, Remus following.
"Hi!" Remus smiled. He didn't want it to be weird about the whole "love" thing. He didn't know why he felt weird about it, they had already said I love you, but there was something.
"Lily. That shirt." Sirius was taken aback.
Lilys shirt was perfect for a carnival.
"Good or bad." She laughed.
"12/10." Sirius decided.
"Satisfactory." She nodded.
James and Remus locked eyes. The same thought was running through both of their heads 'our friends are weirdos'. And it was pretty true.
"Lets ride the ferris wheel!" Sirius said. Another Love, Simon reference.
"Yessss." Remus agreed.
The boys effortlessly laced their fingers together as they walked.
Once on, the wheel began to move. It stopped right as they were on the top.
Ever so slowly, Remus leaned in. He wasn't paying attention to anything until he felt a soft pair of lips on his. He closed his eyes.
The kiss lasted until they began to move once more.
"That felt like a movie." Remus breathed.
"It was in a movie." Sirius laughed.
They spent the rest of the night riding rides, winning each other stuffed animals, and laughter.

"Ooh! Look at the cotton candy!" Lily was acting like a little kid.
"Its the size of both our heads." James said.
"Exactly!" She squealed.
James smiled at his girlfriend.
He bought her the cotton candy. She was over the moon.

The night was perfect.
Lily had someone to share her cotton candy with. James had someone to laugh at.

Remus had someone to hold hands with. Sirius had someone to win him stuffed animals.

Everything was perfect. All the pieces fell right into place.

All was well.
