"Me to darr hi gaya tha" Mandy Bhai said, "fir pata chala koi drug ka side effect tha" He explained.

We laughed a lot when he told us that Bandana Bhabhi likes Shubman Gill.

I looked at my phone, Aarushi hasn't texted me since last night. It was 5pm already, she never does that.

"Kya hua?" Abhay asked, "kal raat se Aarushi ka koi message nhi aaya" I replied.

"To?" He asked, "woh kabhi esa nhi karti" I said thinking.

"Tune hi kucch kia hoga" Mandy Bhai said, "jhagda to nhi hua?" Abhay asked, I shook my head.

"Koi zaruri date to nhi bhula?" Mandy Bhai asked, "nhi na" I said, "vese aaj kya date hai?" I asked and looked at my lock screen.

I read the date, "date kucch jaani pehch...shit! Shit!! Shittttt!!!!" I cursed, "aaj ke din to ham mile the! Kese bhoola me!? Shit! I'm dead" I panicked.

"Usko jaake mil aur uske lie phool leja" Mandy Bhai said, "Mandy yaar tere zamane ki ladkiya phool se maan jaati hai, ham system ko update kar chuke hai" Abhay said to Mandy Bhai.

"Sun, jewellery shop se kucch leja" Abhay said to me, "good idea" I said and went to get ready.

I dialled the number of some jeweller suggested by Abhay.

"Hello, me Sumedh Sharma bol raha hu. Aapke pass jo best necklace hai woh please tayaar rakhiye, me abhi aa raha hu" I said while wearing my shirt.

I left for the shop and collected the necklace in about half an hour and was at Aarushi's place in ten minutes.

"Sumedh! Puttar aaja aaja, iss waqt? Sab theek hai?" Aarushi's mother asked, "sab theek hai, actually me Aarushi se milne aaya tha. Kal se usne koi message ya call nhi kiya to thodi fikar ho rhi thi" I explained.

She chuckled, "upar apne room me hai, mil'le" She said, I nodded and went upstairs.

I knocked at the door, "A...Aaru?" I said, "me andar aa sakta hu?" I asked when she didn't reply.

I took it as a yes and went inside.

She was sitting on the bed, watching tv, "Hey!" I waved my hand awkwardly, she looked at me and then looked away.

Ohkay.

"Ha...Hap..." I said and cleared my throat, "Happy Anniversary baby" I said with a smile.

She looked at me, "Anniversary meri jutti!!" She threw a pillow to hit me.

"I think you forgot ke mere bhai cricketers hai" I said catching the pillow easily.

"And I think you forgot ke mere hone wale jeth bhi cricketers hai" She said grabbing a cricket bat.

"Fuck" I said in a low voice.

"Aaru I have something for you" I said, "me too baby" She smirked while walking towards me.

"Kya tum uss bat se padne wali maar ki baat kar rhi ho?" I asked, "you are so smart!" She chuckled.

"Aaru no" I said holding the bat.

She tried to pull it but I snatched it from her hands and put it on the bed.

I turned her and made her wear the necklace I bought, "Happy Anniversary" I said kissing her neck.

She smiled, "kiska hai?" She asked while touching the necklace, "tumhara" I smiled.

"Arey! Matlab, yeh diamonds hai ya kucch aur?" She asked, "woh to bank balance dekhne ke baad pata chalega" I whispered, "I mean...pata nhi. Bas accha laga to le lia" I said.

She hugged me tightly, "thanks!!" She said, "thanks Abhay" I said, "huh?" She said breaking the hug.

"Kucch nhi, kucch nhi. Ab to gussa shaant ho gaya na?" I asked, she nodded quickly.

"Mera gift?" I asked excited, she smiled.

"Abhi to tumne kaha gussa shaant ho gaya!" I said stopping her when she walked towards the bed to grab the bat again.

"Arey ruko to" She said and brought me something that was under her pillow.

I unwrapped the gift, it was a scrapbook, "shit! Tumne banai??" I asked, she nodded proudly.

I sat on the bed and she sat next to me.

We went through all the memories she gathered in that scrapbook, from our first meeting to our latest date. All the weird and romantic poses made us remind of how beautiful and special our relationship is.
