It was a normal peaceful day, Sogo was on his way back home after delivering something. He didn't mind delivering things as it gave him a reason to explore his surroundings. Though he preferred exploring entirely once the delivery was done. He made it a point to get deliveries to where they needed to go on time.

Humming to himself, he was completely unaware that someone was following him.

That was until he heard twigs breaking and rustling of bushes.

Turning around quickly, he didn't see anyone. Maybe it was just an animal. Right as he sighed he saw something move rather quickly.

"Who's there?" he asked in a cold tone. 

There was no reply. But a moment later, a small child peaked out from behind a tree. He almost looked like a normal child except for the wolf ears and tail. All the seriousness he had melted away and turned into calmness. 

"Were you following me?"

The child nodded. He seemed cautious of him. It was understandable since he didn't know if Sogo was friendly or not.

"I won't hurt you. But you don't need to come out from hiding of you don't want to" Sogo said with a smile. He didn't want to scare the little wolf.

The little wolf hesitated before walking out from behind the tree. He approached slowly before stopping in front of Sogo. Kneeling down to match his height, he examined the child. 

"What's your name?"

"...Tamaki...." he replied, looking away.

"It's nice to meet you Tamaki-kun. My name is Sogo. Do you have somewhere to stay?"

He shook his head.

"If you'd like, you can come home with me" Sogo offered, holding his hand out.

Tamaki's eyes beamed with happiness hearing the offer. Nodding almost immediately and grabbing the older boy's hand. Sogo didn't seem like the other humans.

Others would just look at him in disgust or ignore him completely. Sogo didn't. He actually tried interacting with him and was kind to him. That was the first time anyone had acted like that to him. It made him feel happy to meet Sogo.

Even though they barely knew each others still, he was willing to take Tamaki in. 

After all, he was still a child and deserved somewhere to stay and be taken good care of.

It was like they were fated to meet.
