The view was breathtaking.

Buildings sky-high lined the horizon, making a mosaic pattern out of the night sky. The bright lights of the city streets could be seen from where Yoohee was. They were inspiring, screaming at her to explore its adventure.

The city life was always one she had admired, but never got to experience herself. She's lived a sheltered life since birth, with a family that only practiced a safe and pure lifestyle, in a suburban town.

But Yoohee was so different from them. While her siblings were planning what colleges to go to, and how to manage the family store, she was out driving to San Francisco, just to get a taste of how it is to be... living.

That's one reason why she was here visiting; to see the breathing city.

The main reason being she wanted to see her best friend, Jaekyung. Although Jaekyung grew up in California, she was obsessed with K-Pop culture. So over a drunk conversation and impulse decision making, she dived into the center of it all; Seoul.

Yoohee hadn't seen her in months and missed her deeply. She was the only person Yoohee could relate to, the only person she knew had a similar drive as her; to live life to the fullest.

Yoohee seeing Jaekyung was like a breath of fresh air from the suffocating pressure her parents put on her constantly to be like them.

They had spent the whole day roaming Seoul and it's unique culture. Yoohee was Korean but never was into the culture. Her family was Americanized, having been made up of 2nd & 3rd generation Korean-Americans. So truly seeing how Korea looked, felt, and was, was really enlightening. Like she was truly seeing herself for the first time.

Yoohee took a deep breath, hoping to inhale its amazingness, taking in the scenery one last time before her weary eyes told her to go to bed.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Yoohee jumped at the voice that called over to her.

Yoohee turned to see a man on the balcony adjacent to her. He had his arms crossed, hung over the railing.
He was staring at the city in a similar manner she was doing moments ago.

She couldn't tell who it was since his head was facing the city and the night didn't leave much light to reveal their features.

"It is." Yoohee sighed out, turning her attention back to the scenery.

She began to deduct who the person could be. It had to be one of the three boys from the night before, since that was the balcony connected to their room. But which one?

"You're American?" He asked, slightly facing her more. His face was in a shadow so it still was unrecognizable.

"How'd you know?"

"Satoori gave it away."

"Oh..." Yoohee nodded her head hesitantly; she didn't understand what Satoori mean't. Her parents had only taught her basic Korean.

"You're... You're an interesting person, but you know that, don't you?" He teased. She gave him a strange look, but he didn't seemed to notice, as he kept his attention toward the sky.

"What is that suppose to mean?" She asked in an accusing manner. She always had a thing for dramatic flare, and it made him laugh.

"Oh nothing," He rang out the words, as he turned and started toward the door.

"Yah! Don't- hey!" She called toward him. He walked out the door, leaving the conversation on an odd note.

"Weirdo," She mumbled to herself before leaving too. She was tired out of her mind and could use the rest before another long day of flights anyways.

"I'm gonna miss you so much Yoohee," Jaekyung embraced the younger girl in a tight hug, "Next time you visit, you're staying for at least a week."

"It's a done deal Jae," Yoohee assured as she released Jae from the hug and picked up her luggage from the floor.

"Ok. You've got everything?" Yoohee nodded her head reassuringly, "Good. Have a safe trip, and don't do anything stupid without me, ok?"

She laughed at the irony of the statement, "Ok."

For someone who was 6 years older than her, you'd think Jae would be much more mature. But she was just as mischievous and curious about the world as Yoohee was.

The whole weekend was spent with the two of them running around doing the craziest crap. Parkouring from roof to roof, sneaking into bars, and trespassing through gated areas just to get the perfect picture for Instagram.

It was the best weekend Yoohee had had in her whole life, and she didn't want it to stop.

But at last, all good things must come to an end, and Yoohee had to deal with the dreaded 14 hour flight back home.

It was already nighttime, so she was planning to sleep the whole plane ride, but she didn't know if that was possible considering how well it went last time.

Yoohee had tried to sleep on the flight to Seoul a few days ago, but was rudely interrupted every time she came close to falling asleep by a restless baby sitting rows behind her. Most would have just ignored it, or put on headphones and drown it out, but Yoohee was a sensitive sleeper. Anything woke her up and music blasting in her ear wouldn't be any different than a baby's crying.

Plus, she took a nap right after a long day with Jaekyung, so she was- oddly enough- as energized as ever. The only reason she planned to sleep was because there was probably nothing else to do but that.

Jaekyung hugged her one more time before vigorously waving goodbye as Yoohee walked into TSA.

"Love you!" Jaekyung enthusiastically shouted, her hands cupped around her mouth for her to be able to hear it. Yoohee felt a grin growing on her face at the words.

"I love you too Jae." Yoohee yelled back.

Yoohee easily got through security check and safely made it to where her plane was arriving. She settled down onto a seat in front of her gate, before her eyes averted to a crowd gathering at the other side of the terminal.

She squinted her eyes to get a clearer look at the chaos, as it was nearing her. Everything was happening behind the TSA gates, so thankfully, she didn't have to deal with it from where she was.

Bodyguards pushed through the crowd and protected a group of people in the center. More security arrived at the scene, pushing the rabid teenage girls back as the group passed through the TSA.

They emerged like angels from a sea of normalcy. Their skin was so pale in the lighting. So angelic and perfect.

Like k-idols.

Which makes sense. They probably were celebrities. The fan girls, the perfection, it's the only plausible explanation.

As they got closer, she, weirdly enough, started to recognize a few of them. Jaekyung had always shown Yoohee pictures and videos of her favorite kpop celebrities, but Yoohee was never interested in it. She just paid attention to it to make Jaekyung feel good. So maybe they were someone from the pictures?

"Yo, I think it's that crazy chick..." Jungkook said in a low voice, as he left security check. J-Hope and Suga were on both sides of him, so they were the only ones who heard him. They turned their heads to face what Jungkook was.

"She's the one who attacked you guys? But she's so tiny..." Suga called out, continuing to walk with rest of the group to their gate.

"And fragile-looking. How could that poor innocent girl scare you guys half to death?" J-Hope asked with a hint of teasing in his voice.

"That girl is no joke. She pinned all three of us onto a bed and I couldn't get up! She had the strength of a bear in those tiny hands." Jungkook put up his wrists to show the small scars of where nails unintentionally dug their way into his skin.

"Pshhh, that's nothing." Suga said.

"But it's something!" Jungkook exclaimed, catching the attention of Namjoon.

"What are you guys talking about?" Namjoon asked, leaving the conversation he was having with Jin, Jimin, and Taehyung about what they were going to eat.

"That girl, she's the one who attacked the maknaes last night." Suga explained, already bored with conversation.

"Her? She's the one who took our room, right Jimin?" Namjoon nudged Jimin's shoulder, causing him to face Namjoon.

"Huh?"

Namjoon nodded his head in the direction of the girl. By this time, they were close enough to clearly see her face, and sure enough, it was Yoohee.

"Oh my- that is her!" Jimin whisper-shouted, catching the attention of all the members this time.

"What? Her? She did that to you guys?" was all Jin could say before J-Hope's and Suga's face brightened and a chorus of "I know right!"s and "That's what I said!"s erupted among them.

Jimin ignored their teasing as he was only feet away from her, staring her down. She took her eyes off her phone for a second to stare back at his.

They stood there, silent for a moment, just looking into each other's eyes curiously. Yoohee recognized him immediately as the annoyance in the hotel adjacent to her. She wanted to roll her eyes at him but couldn't find herself doing it. Now that she was fully awake, she could take in the details about him, and the rest of the boys she met that night. They all had flawless skin and beautiful structures. Most girls her age would have a hard time breathing at the sight of such beauty, but Yoohee was stronger than most. It took a lot for her to be starstruck.

She would acknowledge it, but she wouldn't make a big deal of it. She's gotten good at keeping her hormones in check and a poker face.

Although all of them were either staring, or stealing glances at her, her mind seemed to focus on Jimin.

Jimin was looking at her with a similar expression, just staring deeply in her eyes to try and read them. But they were unreadable. She was unreadable. Jimin kept his eyes on her, until he was brought out of his trance when Taehyung started speaking.

"Should we tell management?"

"No!" Jimins overreaction earned him a few weird looks from the members, "Uh- they'll just complicate things. We're fine... and that's all that matters."

"Oh, ok..." Taehyung's voice was full of suspicion. Jimin nervously laughed as he scratched the back of his head.

He didn't know why, but he didn't want to get the strange girl in trouble. After all, what she did was relatively harmless.

But Taehyung didn't feel that way at all.

He had a nightmare about her the night it happened. It was essentially a replay of what had happened, but this time, she had turned into a wolf when she approached Taehyung. Thankfully, Jin woke him up before he got eaten alive by the imaginary she-wolf.

They were all talking amongst themselves about various things while waiting for their flight, as Yoohee sat close by, scrolling through her phone.

Every once in a while, she caught herself stealing a few glances at the boy. She didn't even remember his name for heaven sakes, but she kept looking because she wanted to figure out what was bothering her about him. He looked different.

His outfit consisted of a large black hoodie, heavily ripped jeans, and black sneakers. Paired with sunglasses hanging loosely on his nose, the whole outfit screamed a different vibe then his brightly colored clothing from days before. He looked mysterious, in a bad-boy type of way. It was, admittedly, hot.

But that wasn't what was bothering her. Something else was different, and whatever it was, added to it. She just couldn't put her finger on what.

Jimin turned his head to see her eyeing him intensely, and a smirk grew on his face. She had a eureka moment as the toss of his head lead a piece of hair to fall in the front of his face.

His hair was black.

She had finally realized it. His hair color was different. Instead of orange, it was black this time. She mentally patted herself on the back as she cheered her odd observation, feeling a sense of accomplishment.

But what she didn't realize, was that her reaction was very noticeable. Her mouth was in the shape of an "O" and the deep breath taken in when she figured it out, was actually audible.

"Like what you see?" Jimin teased. Out of context, it made complete sense for him to think Yoohee was checking him out. In a way, it was what she was doing, but for completely different reasons.

"What? No!" She shook her hands in the air as she stood up, "I was ju- just..."

She didn't know what to say. There was no way she could possibly explain herself without it sounding weird. She could feel herself heating up, but she wouldn't let him have the pleasure of knowing she made him blush so she made an effort to control herself.

"Just?" He leaned forward with his hands in his pocket, looking at her with a tight smirk, his lips ever so slightly pouted.

"Just trying to remember if I know you or not." She made up the lie so quickly it surprised even herself.

"Oh really?" He took a few steps closer, but Yoohee didn't budge. She wasn't going to let him think he could intimidate her. He took off his sunglasses, "How about now?"

His face started to near hers at an uncomfortable distance, so she shielded her face with her hands.

"What seems to be the problem?" Jimin's cockiness was over the roof at this point, which bothered Yoohee. She instantly lowered her hands and scrunched her face up in disgust.

"The problem? Your face. I can see it. And my eyes can't handle such hideous things."

"Ha. Ha. Very funny," he sarcastically remarked as he rolled his eyes and backed away from the disrespectful girl.

He was clearly older than her, so she should at least have some manners, but what else did he expect? It was clear that she wasn't the typical Korean girl. And then it hit him.

Oh right. She's American.
