I went to see you. I waited a year to muster up the courage to find you and knock on your door. From what I know, you haven't moved yet. You never liked change and I'm betting this on what I know about you.
Nice house you have there. I like the flowers in your garden and the sweet scent of fruit by the porch. You always enjoyed nature.
I walked to the front door and pressed the doorbell. The classical ding boomed from inside the house. Footsteps echoed on wood, and a younger version of you opened the door.
"Dad, there's a strange man outside."
You walked outside and your brows furrowed. You were exactly how I remembered you: sharp eyes, warm smile and chapped lips. You didn't recognize me.
"Oh sorry, I got the wrong house."
