It was Christmas time. Your family and the Hamadas are really close, so you always go to the Lucky Cat Café for Christmas. You liked to hang out with the Hamada brothers often and even tried to get into their exclusive club. They denied you entrance. You were okay with that, there were too many rules anyway.

Anyway! You preferred to hang out with Tadashi because, well he's the same age as you and...you have to admit it...you love that man. He's just, perfect! No other word can describe him.

During Christmas, Cass and your mother talk about things, possibly embarrassing baby stories of you and the brothers. Everyone is wearing ugly Christmas sweaters. You have to say though, Hiro's takes the cake (you can imagine it). After playing some video games, you go to open presents with everyone else. The first thing you open is a small box. It contains a pair of beautful cherry blossom earrings. Hiro got a new robot, like he needs one right? Tadashi got some books, a notepad, and you gave him (whatever you gave him). Of course you left it anonymous, just like the person who got you the earrings. Of course everyone got more than just a few things, really why wouldn't you? It's Christmas we're talking about!

During the Christmas dinner, Cass and your mother start whispering to each other. You have a feeling that they're planning something. It's best not to ask. You hope their plan doesn't involve embarrassing you infront of Tadashi. That would be terrible!

Later in the day, as in about 10 PM, you sit down next to Tadashi to watch a movie. Hiro sits down in a separate chair and Cass and your mother sit down next to each other. They're keeping a bit of distance from Tadashi and you, so is Hiro, but maybe that's because he's tired or something. Halfway through the movie though, someone finally speaks. It's Hiro.

"There's mistletoe over your guys' heads." Hiro points above Tadashi's head. You and Tadashi look up. You blush and look at Tadashi. Tadashi looks at you and his cheeks are tinted with red. Cass and your mom start giggling. You look at them and they stop giggling.

"You put the mistletoe there didn't you?!" you exclaim.

"Of course we did!" Cass confesses. "It was the only way that we could get some action today! Especially between you and Tadashi."

"Yeah," your mother adds. "It's so obvious that you two-"

"Mom!" you shout, blushing furiously. "Don't say that!" She laughs.

"Sweetie, Tadashi is a smart boy, he should've noticed by now."

"Noticed what?" Tadashi whispers, suddenly very close to you. You jump.

"N-nothing!" Cass sighs behind you.

"Just kiss already, you need to keep the tradition of the mistletoe," Cass states. You think that she's just saying that to get you two together. This Christmas has been so weird! Your mother and Aunt Cass ship you with your best friend, your crush. How awkward is that?

As you are lost in your thoughts of shipping, you don't notice that Tadashi gently grabbed your face and is now slowly leaning toward you. You snap out of your thoughts once Tadashi is right infront of you. You're too shocked to pull back, and Tadashi's lips gently, but passionately, presses against yours. You stiffen, then slowly melt into the kiss. Tadashi's lips begin to move against your's, but the moment is ruined.

"Okay!" Hiro shouts. "That's disgusting! Stop right now!" You and Tadashi pull apart and blush.

"Shut up Hiro," you mutter. Tadashi chuckles, then leans over to you.

He whispers in your ear, "I love you, (y/n)." Your eyes go so wide you are afraid they might pop out of your skull.

"I-I love you too," you breathe.

"I think I'm scarred for life," Hiro states, then leaves the room.
