When the bounty made it to The Dark Island,Cole was the first to jump off the bounty. He was about to go ahead and run off,but he was stopped by Lloyd's voice.

"Cole! Wait!" Lloyd said.
Cole turned around to look at the others "Are y'all ready to search? We could be here for awhile." Zane announced. Everyone nodded,but Cole sadly sighed.

"Guys,I want to search myself. It's my fault Kai got captured again!" Cole said.

"Cole,it's no one's fault. And besides,we need to do this as a team! You can't search this place alone!" Jay said stepping closer "Jay's right Cole,we want to help too." Nya stepped up.
Cole sadly sighed. His fist punched the ground. Big rocks started surrounding Zane,Lloyd,Nya,and Jay. They started to panic and started to try to break free.

"Cole! What are you doing?!" Lloyd shouted. Demanding for an answer.

"I'm sorry guys,but this is my mission." Cole said before running off.
"Cole get back here!" Lloyd yelled. But Cole ignored him.

As Cole ran he looked up to the mountain he was heading to.

A cave on top of a mountain,just like Kai said

Cole thought to himself. It was far,but if Kai's there,Cole knew it was worth it.
I'm coming for you,Kai. Hang on.
Cole thought again as he ran faster.

I'm just hoping it's not too late or Kai is already—
"No! Cole,don't think like that! Kai is going to be ok! You just need to go faster!" Cole said to himself,then running a little bit faster.
Cole looked up again. Not too far.

After a few minutes,
Cole made to the location of the mountain. His eyes widened.
"It's taller than I expected!" Cole complained to himself "But it's the only way to get to Kai,then so be it!" Cole said. Starting to climb the mountain.

Hour later (cuz I was lazy)
Cole finally made it to the top.
"That was longer than I expected." Cole panted. After Cole caught his breath,he slowly came closer to the huge entrance of the cave. It was dark,but the sun gave enough light for Cole to see a figure.

Cole smiled wide,as tears of happiness began to fill his eyes. It was Kai!
Kai,what Cole thought he was sobbing into his arms,shackles on his wrists and ankles,and his injuries still everywhere.

"Kai!" Kai looked up to the opposite side of the cave because of a familiar voice. He thought it wouldn't happen,but it did. Kai found Cole standing right in the entrance of the cave "C-Cole?" Kai said shakily from his tears of happiness and being shocked "Kai!" Cole said a bit more quiet. Cole immediately started to rush over to Kai,tears of happiness spilling from his eyes. Kai smiled as his tears escaped as well.

"Kai!" Cole said as he wrapped his arms tightly around Kai. And Kai hugged him tightly as well.

Kai then started to sob into Cole's shoulder,but was smiling at the same time. Cole closed his eyes halfway and gently rubbed Kai's back.
"Sssshhhhhh. It's going to be ok,Kai." Cole spoke softly "I know! *sob* I'm just so happy to see you!" Kai said and stopped sobbing and just smiled again.

After a minute,Cole and Kai finally let go of each other. Cole wiped away Kai's tears and made there foreheads connect to each other.

"I'm sorry it took me longer to get to you...."
Kai shook his head
"No,it's ok. Really. I always knew you'd save me..."
Cole smiled.

They both disconnected their foreheads and looked at each other "You ready to head home?" Cole asked. Kai nodded. Still smiling.

Cole frowned for a minute and looked at Kai "Before we head back..... I want to check something..." Cole said as he pulled up Kai's shirt.
Cole covered his mouth in shock to see a giant mark that was starting to bleed again. He went to Kai's back and found a giant X mark on his back,witch was bleeding too. While Cole was looking at Kai's back,his leg caught his attention and saw it covered in bleeding cuts,and Cole looked at his arm bleeding out of control and had a very deep cut.

Tears were forming in Cole's eyes,but fought them back.
"Come on! We're going home! Then we're getting you back the hospital!" Cole said before breaking Kai's shackles.

Cole was about to pick Kai up,but was interrupted by a familiar voice. Is it?
"Well,well,well...what do we have here?" Cole got to his feet and wiped his head around to see him....Morro...

Cole was about to run and attack,but both,Kai and Cole completely collapsed to the ground and couldn't move.
"Kai.....what's happening?!......" Cole said looking at Kai. Kai didn't reply with an answer,but held out his hand to grab Cole's hand. Cole struggled to keep his hand up to grab Kai's hand,but failed miserably.

Morro laughed at their struggle and came close "You wanna know why you can't move? It's a little thing called gravity."
Morro said as he pushed his foot against Cole's head.
"Tell me,Cole....how did you know Kai would be here." Morro said,obviously teasing Cole "He wasn't in Ninjago!........we checked the only place we haven't checked!.....witch was this place!" Cole said glaring a Morro with hate in his eyes.

Morro went to the other side of Cole. Cole's head followed to where he was going "And the last thing I thought there would be a rat in my cage!" Morro said,then kicking Cole hard in the face. Hitting his nose.

"Leave him alone you baster!"
Kai shouted.

Morro turned around to look at Kai
"You care for the black ninja? Don't you?" Morro said with an evil smile
"Since Cole's here,how about we have some fun!" Morro said as he snapped his fingers. 2 shackles came falling to the ground and landed in front of Kai.
Kai stared at them with fear and looked at Morro. Morro smirked,kneeling down and putting them on Kai's wrist.

"Let him go!" Cole shouted.

Morro looked at him,and lifted his fingers,witch made the shackles lift up,with Kai's body. His arms lifted up first and his feet lifted an inch off the ground.

Kai could hardly struggle. Morro stared at Kai,but as he did,Cole was glaring at him.
Morro walked over to Kai and Kai looked away to avoid looking at Morro.
Morro grabbed a piece of Kai's hair and sniffed it
"You smell nice,hothead. Even with all of your blood."

Cole still struggled,but was able to get onto his knees
"Morro! Let him go! You bitch!"
Morro turned around to look at Cole and walked over to him
"Why don't you stay down,like a good ninja!?" Morro yelled as he kicked Cole in the head again "Cole!" Kai shouted again.

Morro started kicking Cole repeatedly,until I sword appeared in Morro's hand and stabbed into Cole's back. Cole screamed in agony.
"Hurts? Doesn't it?" Morro teased as he walked back over to Kai "By the way,in ten minutes,that sword will slowly begin to kill you." Morro sat next to Kai's leg,witch had the cast still on.
A knife appeared in Morro's hand
"And now," Morro said as he used to slowly cut open Kai's cast "back to you~." As soon Morro had the knife fully cut open Kai's cast,he ripped it off,and threw it across the room.

Kai flinched.

Morro then started to repeatedly stab Kai's leg making tears poor down Kai's face,him screaming in pain,and begging for Morro to stop.
Morro then stopped,and started to kick Kai's leg repeatedly. With Kai's leg being broken,and having it stabbed,it was more painful.

Cole almost wanted to start crying,seeing Kai being tortured right in front of him,and he couldn't do anything to stop it.

When Morro finally stopped,he went back up to Kai's chest. He slowly lifted up his shirt as far as it will go.
Kai looked at Morro. Morro looked at him back with a nasty smile.
Morro slid the knife under his shirt,and tugged on the knife. Ripping Kai's shirt off him completely.
Revealing all of Kai's injuries on his arms and stomach.

Kai's shirt was thrown behind Morro,witch it landed next to Cole.
Cole slowly picked it up,tears were slowly falling from his eyes. He squeezed it tightly with anger and looked at Morro,who was cutting Kai's chest more.

"Stop it you baster! Morro! I'll kill you! You hear me? I'LL KILL YOU!!!" Cole yelled.

When Morro went to Kai's back,Kai looked at him and smiled weakly.
"It's ok,Cole.....thank you for everything......and-" Kai was cut off by him screaming in more pain when Morro started stabbing the knife into Kai's back.

"MORRO!!! I'LL KILL YOU FOR THIS!!!" Cole yelled with anger.
Morro looked at him and only laughed.

Cole struggled to get back up a bit more,but the pain from the sword only made it seem impossible.
After awhile of struggling,
Cole passed out.....

In Cole's mind
Cole's POV
Is this my punishment?
Thinking I was able to save Kai myself?
Always yelling and arguing with him?
Not being able to protect him?

I started to break down into tears and started to sob.

"Are you quitting?"
A voice said. I didn't know who it was.

"No....I'm facing reality."
I replied to the voice.

"Then you're quitting."

"I don't know what else to do. I have no one else with me to fight Morro."
I said as more tears were falling down my cheeks.

"You don't,but I can help you." I recognized the voice now!

I slowly lifted up my head to see Kai coming close to me. He kneeled down next to me and picked up my chin so I would look at him
"How-how can you help me?" I asked looking at Kai.
Kai only smiled and gave me an orb that was half light and the other half dark purple and black "By using this."
I slowly took it from him and stared at it "What is it?" I asked.

"It lets you have control of this island,instead of Morro. The light is to be sure that you don't turn evil."
The voice said again.

"Who is that?"
Kai smiled "It's The First Spinjitzu Master. He's talking to you. He's the reason why I'm still alive right now. He's the reason why I was able to talk to you in your dream that night and now." Kai then frowned "But he said I could die anytime soon." Tears were forming in my eyes now,but Kai wiped them away. As he did,I noticed the sword on my back was vanishing.

When it was completely gone,I got to my knees and Kai smiled.
He hugged me and I slowly hugged back "I believe in you,Cole."
I broke Kai's hug and gently kissed his forehead "I promise I'll get you out,Kai."

"I know you will." Kai said as he hugged me again and slowly vanished. I hugged back until his body completely vanished.

I smiled,but closed my eyes and I started to vanish.

Begins to wake up----

No one's POV
Morro was still stabbing and cutting Kai,who had fallen unconscious.

As he did,Cole slowly began to wake up.
He looked over to Morro and Kai.
Cole saw Kai unconscious,witch made him struggle more to get up.

Morro turned around to look at Cole.
"Do I need to put chains on you too?!"
Morro yelled as he swung his hand to slap Cole. But Cole stopped him by grabbing his wrist and pushed him away.

"No! You....don't!" Cole said back.
Fully standing up,sword completely disappearing,and the hole that the sword made in his chest healing in less then ten seconds.
"What?!" Morro said shock,seeing Cole able to walk in the strongest gravity.

Cole glared at him
"I have full control of this place now!"
Cole said and made a scythe appear in his hands. Morro began to back away.

"Let's end this!"
Cole hissed. A sword appearing in Morro's hands.

Morro was the first to attack,but Cole was able to fight him off by simply using his sword.

After Cole fighting Morro without a budge,he swung the scythe at Morro.
Aiming at his arm. The sword slashed through Morro's arm. Morro's ghost like blood spilling onto the floor,
making Morro scream in agony.

"You think that hurt? That's nothing compared to the pain you made Kai feel!" The earth ninja glared and stabbed Morro completely to the ground.

Cole lifted his scythe into the air and stared at Morro for a moment.
Rethinking everything that he did.

Cole looked up at Kai who was still unconscious and bleeding.
Cole finally snapped. Screaming in anger,he forced his scythe down fast. Having it cut very deeply into Morro.
Killing him.
After Morro was killed. He began to slowly vanish.

Cole walked over to Kai and used the scythe to break his chains,and before Kai completely fell to the ground,Cole caught him in his arms.

Tears started to spill from Cole's eyes
"I'm so sorry,Kai!" Cole didn't get a reply. He fully scoped Kai in his arms,rushing out of the cave while carrying Kai.

Cole jumped off the mountain and summoned his elemental dragon.
Making it back to the bounty.

They had to get him to a hospital quick or their fire,red ninja was going to die.

Kai needed help........
