POV: Narrator
25 December 2021.

In Cafe.

"Jacob, what are you doing here?" Vinneta yelled at him as soon as he landed a slap on Clazer's face, everyone was looking at them.

"Are you dating Clazer, Vinneta?" he asked in voice which told he was about to cry.

Jacob was drunk. His insecurities resurfaced and he jumped to the conclusion that Clazer was Vinneta's new boyfriend.

"No, we are not!" Vinneta shouted at him.

"You're lying, I love you Vinneta, I loved you so much. Why are you ignoring me? You don't know just how much I missed you." Jacob completely broke down unable to control his overflowing emotions anymore.

"I can explain everything..." Vinneta said softly placing a hand on his right fore arm.

"Clazer is dating Sirania, not just dating, an hour ago he was with her." Jacob said growling at them.

"No, we are not a thing, he is just a friend of Ruder. Please try to understand." Vinneta's voice turned softer.

Ruder helped Clazer up on a chair, Clazer was so drunk that he couldn't even stand properly anymore.

Clazer lost his lens somewhere, his vision got blurred.

Jacob hit Clazer's nerve now, only his mom and dad have that right to touch him, and he slapped him.

"I am sorry Clazer, I just thought you are.... " Jacob said coming close to Clazer.

Clazer punched Jacob before he could apologize properly.

"Stay away!"

Clazer was pissed off now.

Anger tose inside both of them, alcohol fuelling it further. Clazer clenched his fists trying to control the anger bubbling inside of him.

"Vinneta, what is going on? Clazer what's all this? Clazer speak something!" Ruder impatiently asked them.

"I will explain you everything later Ruder."

Vinneta walked out of the cafe as she can't withstand Jacob and Clazer's craziness right now. She knew Ruder will handle them so she just walked away as tears of anger leaked from her eyes. The punch Clazer landed on Jacob's face had hit her with the same intensity if not more.

Watching Vinneta angrily leave from the cafe, Clazer's driver entered inside. He was the same driver, Mr.Crowart, who has been with Clazer since childhood, even when he met Ruder first time.

Crowart walked to the chair Clazer was sitting on and helped him walk to the car. Once Clazer was inside, he told him to wait in the car.

Clazer slept in the back seat of the car as soon as he settled in. The engine was running, the driver turned the air condition on and went inside to talk to Ruder. He was happy to see him here in London.

The driver drove back home and took Clazer to the main door while helping him balance his body.

"I can go now Mr. Crowart. Thanks." Clazer started using his legs.

Mr.Oath heard Clazer's voice, and came running downstairs.

"So what? You came Early. I was hoping to see you tomorrow morning."

"Yes dad, my head hurts now. I want to sleep." Clazer collapsed on the couch and slept in no time.

Mr. Oath was surprised to see his son drunk after a long time.

Next morning, 26 December 2021
Location: Oath's Mansion, London

Both father and son were enjoying breakfast. Mr. Oath was making fun of Clazer because he has such low tolerance to alcohol.

An unknown man knocked at the door.

"Please come." Mr.Oath welcomed him.

"Clazer, he is Mr. Joffrey, our lawyer."

"Hello, Sir." Clazer beamed and was about to leave for his room.

"Clazer settle down," Mr. Oath ordered him.

"Why dad?"

"Look Clazer, I know you are 21 now and it's time to understand business, you are the owner of all this property and company and now if anything happens to me, you need to take responsibility. You know how your mom left us suddenly," he said in a sad voice.

"So you turn 21 this August, we want to take your sign-on papers. That's all for today." The lawyer passed him the papers.

"Are you sure I don't have any other siblings?" Clazer asked the lawyer.

Both men laughed loudly before answering, "No, you are alone."

He signed the papers. What else was he supposed to do?

The lawyer left.....

Mr. Oath looked tensed all of a sudden.

Ruder drove to Clazer's home. He walked in as the door was open. He came straight to the dining table and slammed the car keys on the table out of habit before taking a sigh.

Clazer was sitting on the dining table, his dad was reading a newspaper there.

"Oh, RUDER you are here!" Mr.Oath welcomed him.

Clazer turned around, "Ruder. It's you!" he hugged him again.

"You know he came here yesterday evening Clazer." Mr. Oath informed him excitedly.

"It's a great surprise!" Clazer said breaking the hug.

"Hello." Ruder said and a sat on the chair opposite Clazer.

Clazer was still trying to figure out what wass going on.

"So, as I promised I am here." he picked a slice of cucumber from Clazer's plate full of salad and took a bite.

"You must be thinking this is all so sudden. When you left for Sirania's Christmas party, Deroz family visited here. More specifically Mrs.Deroz." Dad informed him.

Clazer's eyes opened wide. The woman who was blackmailing Kabir's dad and because of that frustration he was beating Kabir, he wanted to meet her. The main Villian of Kabir's story.

"Listen to me quietly, both of you, I came here yesterday evening itself, as soon as I landed here. But I was not so sure if it was the right address. I walked towards the gatekeeper and asked if this was Clazer Oath's house?"  Both the Oaths were listening to Ruder carefully.

"The guard told me you weren't at home, so I asked for your dad. The guard dialled a number, probably to uncle Oath. I told him my name.

'Tell big lord that a boy named Ruder has come to meet them, Ruder William.' he informed.

The gate opened for me. We walked through the front yard with beautiful trees via the main door, into the hallway and right through the center, inside a room. The Guard turned towards me and told me to go in.

I slowly opened the door and entered in. I was surprised to see him. As the door opened, a smile was seen on the uncle's face.

"Hello, Ruder! What a pleasant surprise! How this surprise visit? You should have told me before! I would have arranged someone to pick you up at the airport." uncle said walking closer to give me a hug.

"You got taller my son." he added further.

"Yeah I do and you didn't age at all! Still looking young uncle."

He called a servant and ordered a coffee and cake for us. He asked me about my dad.

After catching up on things, he then told me you got a girlfriend. You were at your girlfriend's Christmas party. But you had no time to call your friend...

I was shocked by the news, you didn't like to talk to girls after your mom died. I see a better improvement in you.

All your numbers were unreachable for months, the only thing I knew was your address which I got from the delivery agency and I came here.

Also, I told him, my mom's friend got an accident here so I came to meets her.

I also got to know about your marriage, you are getting married next Christmas right? This is a big surprise. So can I expect to become an uncle soon?" Ruder laughed when Clazer blushed.

"Uncle told me about your sweet love story, that Sirania had a crush on you, she knew that you are a businessman's son from America and later realized that you guys were trading with her family for business. What a coincidence?

She asked her dad for this proposal and Mr.Oath then agreed you agreed too. And you even decided on the date of marriage.

But in the meantime, the servant returned and cut our discussion short.

"My lord, sorry to disturb but Mr. and Mrs. Deroz are here, they are sitting in the hall."

"Why don't you head to Clazer's room? Clazer will return soon enough as much as I know." uncle offered me.

Go through the main door and take the back stairs in the backyard to enter in the 1st floor, Clazer's room had a manual lock.

I took the way as instructed, entered the front yard, sneaked inside, and looked for the staircase. I heard a distant voice from somewhere.

"Look at this house," a lady said.

"Soon this will all be ours," A man replied.

"Yeah, once Sirania marries Clazer then we will ask her to Divorce him with 50% estate." Those were her words.

"Shh, keep your voice down, his father is downstairs!" he hissed.

RUDER OPENED THE DOOR SLOWLY, AND LOOKED AT THE LADY AND THE MAN. They were Mr & Mrs Deroz, Sirania's mom and dad.
