"I woke up in Vinneta's home, I surely remember drinking wine and me being extremely intolerant to any alcoholic beverages. Vinneta surely made fun of me when she woke up. Then I met Vinneta's mom..."

"Interesting. It's getting interesting..." The doctor laughed.

POV: Clazer Oath

Vinneta was in the shower and someone was ringing the doorbell, first I ignored it out of habit but then I opened the door.

"Yes, what do you want?" I asked looking at a lady in an office suit.

"Oh.." her mouth was wide open.

"It's my house handsome boy so I guess I want to come inside." She stepped forward looking at me and I stepped back.

"And what are you doing inside my house?" she asked me.

"Who is at the door?" Vinneta shouted from inside.

"A lady claiming that this house is hers!" I replied with the same volume.

"Stupid! She is my mom!" Vinneta barked out from the other side of the wall.

"Oh! Hello Ms. Kerd, come in. Sorry, we didn't meet before...that's why I was confused."

I bowed my head to welcome her.

"Who are you?" Ms. Kerd was very curious as she placed her brand new light pink purse on the table.

Vinneta rushed out in a bathrobe.

"Mom, come inside for a minute. I will explain..." she said dragging her mom inside the room.

Inside the room, I can hear everything outside.

"You guys did something last night? Did he use protection? If not, morning pills?" Ms. Kerd asked her.

"Mom listen!"

Vinneta explained everything to her mom about when we first met in the cafe, my donation in the development of the cafe and thus becoming boss, also adding the point of how we met yesterday and her inviting me here because my phone was dead.

"So, if I am not wrong, he is your lucky charm, the one that the clergyman claimed right?" Ms. Kerd asked after listening to everything.

I just heard that lucky charm thing for the 3rd time now.

"Just drop it out, I don't think any of it is true!" Vinneta turned rude to her mom all of a sudden. It was weird.

"Stay with him for 6 months as that Clergyman says, till 25th April 2022." Her mom repeated the clergyman's statement.

"Mom, there is no such thing as a lucky charm. Now just act like he is our guest." She said in the same irritated voice.

"You said he drank red wine yesterday, and nothing happened?" Vinneta's mom said in a curious tone and I got chills down my spine.

"What are you saying, mom?" Vinneta asked blushing.

"Why are you blushing?"

"No, nothing happened. He is not someone to just use any girl for his pleasure." Vinneta said siding with me. Why was she being so nice this morning?

"Then also..."

"Mom, why are you teasing me?"

"Why are you blushing? Tell me the truth!" Ms. Kerd was being too stern.

Please Vinneta tells her I am clean... I prayed silently.

"Mom, please!"

Both of them walked out of the room. Well, I heard the entire conversation but pretended like I was reading a newspaper.

"Oh dear, did you catch a cold? It was raining heavily, Vinneta told me you were drenched," she asked me just like my mom used to, she pulled my cheeks after checking my temperature with the back of her hand.

"No, Ms. Kerd I am fine." I smiled.

"Oh mom, come and have breakfast, Clazer prepared it!" Vinneta interrupted trying to stop her mom from talking.

"Yes ma'am, try it. It's delicious."

"Vinneta, never ask guests to cook!" She gave her a fake glare before walking ahead of us.

"He himself cooked it, I never forced him to."

"Oh, she didn't force me!" I seconded her.

Vinneta's mom took the first bite after settling on the dining table.

"Oh my! It tastes so good!" She exclaimed with joy.

"Really? Let me check!" Vinneta had a very shocking reaction, she thought her mom was admiring me just out of courtesy but when she tasted it, her reflex made her spell "delicious!"

"Try, try... I am a pro at cooking. My mom taught me like an expert."

"Yum, mom..." Vinneta took another bite of the dish.

"Wow! It's amazing, Clazer." she looked at me with pure admiration.

Both of them finished everything on the table in less than 10 minutes.

'Why do I think they were hungry for more than years?' I just thought.

"It was amazing!"

"I will leave now, I have to make sure my phone gets repaired as it's not working even after charging it. I think rainwater entered inside the phone."

"You should stay a little longer and talk to me for some time before heading back." Ms. Kerd looked at me like my mom used to do. I felt like If my heart was broken, mom's smile could have healed it.

"Next time... I will return for sure!" I grinned.

"Your phone number?" she asked and I couldn't resist sharing.

"Yeah, take it ***** "

"Bye, thanks for taking care of me." I winked at Vinneta. She showed a little temper in response.

Vinneta and I were standing near the lift.

"Whom were you waiting for? He didn't come, right? Are you not angry with him?" I asked her.

"No, if you can't wait for love, you don't deserve love. If someone isn't capable of accepting the past, how can someone accept the unseen future?" she said looking into my eyes.

My heart skipped a beat.

I left for home, I reached via taxi and Jacob was waiting for me inside my home.

"Where were you?" Jacob from the couch right next to the main door.

I was glad it wasn't dad or else I had to answer his endless questions. Well, Jacob wasn't being so different now.

"Nothing important, what about you? You know my address?"

"Listen carefully, there is something important I have to tell you."

I got informed about Robert's health condition and decided to meet him before he leaves for Korea.

In Hospital

Jacob entered Robert's room.

"Where is Clazer?" Sirania asked hurriedly as soon as Jacob entered.

I was right behind Jacob.

It was a tense situation.

Robert was on the bed.

Sirania and Cristina were sitting on the Sofa.

Sirania got up and came closer to hug me.

"Where were you?"

"At the church," I said looking at Robert, trying to avoid eye contact with Sirania.

"Sorry I couldn't make it yesterday," she said sobbing.

"I don't need an excuse..." I was using a pretty rough tone.

"How is your health, Robert?" I asked him.

"Almost fine. Can you guys leave me alone with Clazer and Sirania?" He demanded.

Everyone walked out of the room leaving the three of us alone.

"I hate long talks. I will love to cut it short. Take good care of Sirania after I leave. It's over now, I will move on from her, I was stupid to love her so much. Keep her happy...." Robert said looking me in the eye.

"Yes. I will always be with her." I replied holding his hand.

Sirania's eyes were filled with tears once again.

"If you cheat on her, then I will take her back. Beware of me. I don't want to tell my kids How I fell for my ex." Robert mumbled.

"I will keep your promise, because then she will fall for her ex, and I won't let that happen," I said proudly.

............

I held Sirania's hand and took her out of the hospital room.

"So, apologize!"I growled

"Why should I?"

"Why should you?!"

Sirania kissed me before I could complain any further.

"I love you, I always have, I always will," Sirania said looking into my eyes.

"I love you too."

The fact was, I had to stay with her no matter what her past was, I need to meet Mrs. Deroz via her and finally get my revenge...

I have fallen for Sirania, yet my heart was behaving so weirdly in front of Vinneta.

Jacob was with Mr. Twas for the discharge procedure.

Cristina was nowhere to be seen.
