The Mikaelson siblings couldn't believe their eyes that the doppelganger was standing in their lounge looking well and very much alive. And not just her. But also Hope. Their niece. 

"Hope, is that you?" - the blonde Original now said in a tearful voice. 

The teenager nodded, finally uttering -"Yes, aunt Bex- it's me"

The Original now sped up to the girl, embracing most warmly, tears now flowing down her face, not able to sustain them. 

"We - thought you were dead"- Finn now said, a smile hitting his face as he looked at Elena and the little girl standing next to her.

"We are very much alive"- Elena now replied - "I see you are alive, too."

"Yes - Sophie brought me back"- Finn replied and added -"Come in - don't stand there. And who is this -?"

The Original referred to the girl standing next to Elena.

"This Vivie, my daughter"- Elena said. 

Getting out of the hug with her niece, Rebekah now looked at Elena and the girl. All the Mikaelson siblings knew what Klaus had done and that Elena carried the child of Genevieve and Vincent. 

"I am - so glad you - are not dead - and - I just"- Rebekah said with happiness in her voice. And though, the two vampires never really shared much of a friendship, it all suddenly was a thing of the past, they now went into a hug. 

The only person, or rather a vampire that stood in total state of shock was Kol. Even though, Rissy was preparing herself mentally, she could not stop her emotions whirling up inside her now that she stood only a few feet away from the Original she fell so head over heels years ago. 

"Rissy?"- Kol repeated again.

"Kol - hello"- the witch said, not moving, her eyes looking at the vampire with soft meek expression-"Long time - no see" 

All eyes, suddenly were pointed at the witch and Kol.

"And this is-?"- Rebekah now looked at Kol, who, pulling himself together, with a small gulp was about to introduce the witch to his siblings and Sophie- but Rissy cut him short and said-

"Rissy Drake-Mikaelson."

"What?"- Rebekah looked at the witch and then at Kol.

"Yes"- Kol now said -"ahm- yes - this is - my wife - "

"Your wife? When the Hell did you get married?"- Rebekah could not sustain her amazement.

Kol now swallowed hard - "Well, it was not your conventional type of marriage - we had a witch marry us - "

"Oh - and that doesn't count?"- Rebekah then said-"Are you aware that we are supernatural and according to old rites that if a witch marries any of us - it is very much a real marriage."

"Can we - not - now - get into this."- Kol said.

"Not now? Seriously?"- Rebekah was not letting this go. 

Rissy was quiet. And now caught Elena's eyes, who shook her head in amazement, not understanding why the witch had  this particular detail.

"Kol is right"- Rissy now said-"I apologise that I sprung it on you like that. It is not the time- and -ahm- it's true - it was just one of those crazy moments when it happened - it is not a big deal. I don't know why I said it. I'm just Rissy"

To diffuse the situation, Elena stepped in, saying-

"Rissy is an Original witch, same as Freya. She is here to - stop the hybrids."

"Did you know this?"- Rebekah now looked at Kol.

Before Kol could answer, Rissy replied-

"No. When I turned twenty-five - all of the ancestral magic was passed onto me - by then Kol was long gone. Ahm- we had a very long flight and had to change the plane twice - can I go refresh?"

"Yes, of course."- Rebekah said and now pointed to the staircase-"if you'd like to follow me"

Rissy nodded a little and went after the blonde Original, leaving Kol standing, burning. He wished he was daggered a thousand times over than feel again the pain Rissy's eyes shot at him. 

"That was rather tactless. But than again that is so you."- Finn finally spoke.

"Oh, shut up you!" - Kol said and now shot a look at Hope, saying - "Great to see you back, kid! Damn, how grown up you are!"

He then turned to Elena -

"I totally get why you didn't keep us in the loop that you are not alive - but still - you should have let us know that you are alive and kicking"

"I'm really sorry, but it was too risky. Even though we were "dead", some of them still managed to track us down."

"They are sick bastards - and their witch, our dear cousin is a mean cruel c- ahm - I - guess, you are hungry - I will prepares something to eat and then I will go to Bayou to get your mom"

"I will cook"- Sophie said-"you go and get Hayley."

"Yeah"- Kol said -"I bet you also want to refresh and unpack - there is plenty of time to catch up."

Elena now nodded and the girls and her followed Kol up to the stairs to the bedroom. 

As the girls settled in the room they chose to be theirs, Elena now pulled Kol aside and asked about Elijah. Though she knew he had died, she wanted to know what exactly had happened.

"He was beaten before Sophie made the magical antidote."

"So, there is an antidote?"

"Yes. She used the venom from his body - but she could complete the antidote before the Supermoon. And he was dead by then."- Kol explained.

"And Klaus?"- Elena asked.

"They tricked him and - they imprisoned him somewhere - he is buried alive -"

"Oh"- Elena now exclaimed -"he has done some bad things and so many mistakes - but -"

"Mistakes"- Kol now uttered-"I wish - "

"She is an amazing woman"- Elena now said referring to Rissy.

"I know that - I - damn - I don't know why I said that the wedding was not conventional - I am an idiot"- Kol said.

"Yes, you are"- Elena said.

"I guess, she told you everything"- Kol said.

"Well, not everything. Not that you were married. Anyway - why did you leave her?"

Kol now sighed  and then looked at the doppelganger poignantly -"What do you think?"

"No?!"- Elena said as if she just had an epiphany.

"Yes. It was either that or - he would have killed her. And then he daggered me to sleep. You know what Klaus is like. You felt it on your skin. "- Kol said and added - "Elijah was right. It was hard - but if I hadn't left - believe it or not I knew that I would  live forever in pain for not being able to be with her- but -  I knew that she was alive, and safe- and it was all what mattered - "

"I'm sorry - but you have to tell her why you left."

"Ahm -  I don't think she will ever forgive me -  "- Kol said.

"It's obvious that you still love her - and with everything we all have been through - make this better - you got a second chance. I would give anything to have Elijah here - now."- Elena said. 

"Yeah - huh- do you want to - go to the tomb? I mean - if you want-"

"Yes. Of course. Please take me"- Elena said.

"All right. Come on."- Kol said.

A few minutes later, they were in the Mikaelson tomb. 

Elena walked in and Kol opened the casket where Elijah lay.

"Elijah"- Elena slipped as she sat down next to the casket, tears rolling down her face - "I am here - love you"
