It was the usual quiet evening in the duke's mansion, Simon was in his study, when Zhan came to visit him, "May I come in brother?"

Simon nodded, and Zhan came inside Simon's room and quietly sat down in front of Simon,"What is it?" Simon asked.

Zhan sighed, "Brother I am sorry."

Simon placed a hand under his chin and looked at Zhan, "for what?"

Zhan sighed, " I am sorry for hiding so many things from you, but today I will tell you everything."

Simon just smiled, "I am waiting."

"Well brother you know that I am favoured by the goddess right."

"Uh-huh."

"For me she can reverse any cosmic law and grant me any wish."

"Yes." Simon said and his face becamse more and more serious.

"Well the goddess did reverse a cosmic law for me she reversed the law of time for me."

Simon blinked once and twice before everything finally clicked and his eyes widened, "You mean that the goddess send you back in time?"

Zhan nodded, "She did send me back in time."

"But why?" Simon asked and this time before Zhan could answer A-Yuan came to his room and said, "Brother Zhan it's crown prince's messenger, the crown Prince has summoned you to the imperial palce."

Zhan looked a Simon who nodded, "We will talk later you go to the crown prince for now."

Zhan sighed an proceeded to leave the castle while Simon sat back at his place.

Zhan was sitting in the carriage which was moving towards the imperial palace but something seemed off Zhan felt that somethng was wrong ,and his doubts were turned into relality when something hit his carriage, Zhan jumped out of the carriage and in the darkness of night he was suddenly shot with an arrow.

Zhan took the arrow out of his arm and ran in other direction, damn he was injured and he was damn sure that the arrow was poisioned his body needs time to heal and in this condition if he used his power he can die and Zhan cannot let that happen so he ran as far as he can.

His eyes turned red, and he called out, "Azure."

Menahwile Azure who was in the temple happily playing with Emerald became alert once she heard Zhan's voice and flew out quickly, Zhan who was tired as hell because he could feel the poision spreading in his body although he won't die because his blood can heal him he still felt tired but thanfully Azure soon came to him.

And Zhan can fianlly faint.

While in the duke's mansion Simon was still in his study A-Xiang and A-Yuan were playing chess when they heard a noise.

"Did you hear that?" A-Xiang asked and A-Yuan nodded, "Let's check it."

The two then went out of their room with a dagger in their hands they walked a few steps but found nothing out of the ordinary until suddenly a man jumped from behind them and kicked them.

Then many other men appeared and the one who seemed to be the leader took out his sword and was about to stab the two but before that he could do tha he saw a dagged coming towards him so he stepped back and dogded it and Simon came in front of the kids.

"You dare to attack my home huh?" he said and summoned his sword before looking at the intruders with a smile," So are you all ready to die?"

He said and the said leader attacked him with all his men but they were going against Simon here, Simon defeated the men but he was tired in the process because they were all skilled men especially their leader.

The leader then whistled and Simon saw many more men coming into their house he turned to the kids and said, "Use the secret passage and run away. right now"

The kids didn't argue and did as they were told while Simon tightened his hold on the sword.

The men then jumed at him and he also raised his word and ran towards the intruders, Simon Wen WeiXiao is not someone that they can easily take down.

When they saw how powerful his attacks were and how he was able to fight at least hundreds of men all alone and still not get tired, they shivered at the sight of Simon mecilessly beheading the intruders.

"What a monster he is." One of the men said.

While Simon had some scratches here and there and smirked, "Is that all you have got? I am fucking disasppointd."

He said and the leader who seemd pissed attacked Simon but Simon just smirked and kicked him, the leader's face which was covered with mask fianlly revealed and it was Eros, Zion's underling.

Eros jumped at Simon again but Simon's one attack made Eros loose his sword and Simon kicked him befre placing his sword at Eros's neck ,"Now answer my question nicely, who are you?"

But Eros only galred at him, "Not gonna talk huh? fine then I will kill you in front of your men and then ask them"

He said and raised his sword but before he could bring down his sword, Simon heard a clapping sound in the room, "Bravo, Duke you are really amazing."

Simon looked at the man that was clapping, "Emperor Zion?"

Zion laughed and stood in front of him at some distance, "I didn't expect anyless from you, you are same as ever, you were able to defeat my highly trained men and my right hand man in seconds."

"What kind of joke is this emperor Zion." Simon asked with anger.

Zion smiled, "This is not joke Duke I just asked these men to bring you to me but they failed so I will ask you nicely Duke Simon come with me"

Simon tightened his hold on his sword, "I will have to refuse your majesty, please take your men and leave my mansion right now before I tell about this to the emperor."

Zion laughed, "Just as I expected." he said and sanpped his fingers and his men bought A-Yuan and A-Xiang with them, Simon was worried now but how come this guy knows that secret passge of his mansion?

"What kind of beahviour is this emperor Zion!" Simon said and Zion spoke, "This classic technique always works, Now let me ask again, Duke Simon you either come with me or I will kill these two children."

Simon couldn't say anything, he tried to move but Zion noticed it so he took out his dagger and grabbed A-Yuan's hand before stabbing his hand with the dagger so that the dagger pirced A-Yuan's hand and he yelled in agony.

"I will not ask again Duke." Zion said and Simon glared at him, "Let them go they are just children,"

"Of course I will let them go, only if you come with me."

Simon looked at A-yaun writhing in pain and A-Xiang who was crying, he then let go of his sword, "Alright but let them go."

"Perfect." Zion said and threw a rope towards Eros who tied Simon's hand before Zion released his hold on the kids and walked towards Simon and patted his shoulder, and looked at him with an usual look.

"I have waited for a long time to meet you my dear Simon."

Author's note: So if you guys still don't understnad Zion was Simon's lover in his past life and I know 99.9% of you must have thought that it was Zhehan but come on that would be too predictable and where would be the fun in that?
