The first day of the festival of Bastina was very close to being over.

Currently Zhan and his gang were sitting at the dinner table in a restaurtant, when Zhehan spoke, "So, Duke Simon, Lord Zhan did you enjoy the carnival?"

Zhan nodded, and Simon spoke, "Well I wasn't disappointed, it was good, by the way you look tired nowadays Marquis is everything okay?"

Zhehan took a sip of his drink which was alcohol, "It's just the workload on me has been increased that's it." but in reality it was because of Adeena.

Simon patted his shoulder, "Well you should take care of your self." Zion was sitting beside Simon was quiet he seemed to be in his own thoughts but he did notice Zhehan.

A-Yuan who was sitting beside Zhehan curiously looked at his drink, "Brother Zhehan can I also try this drink?"

"Me too!" A-Xiang spoke.

Zhehan smiled at them and Simon was going to say no to them but before him Zhehan spoke, "Sure, once you become an adult you can drink this, till then enjoy your tea."

The two obedient kids didn't argument anymore and drank their tea.

"Duke Simon," Zion called out to him, "Yes Your majesty."

Zion took a sip of his drink and looked at Simon, "I heard that you were engaged, recently but your fiance killed your mother?"

Simon paused and glanced at Zhan , and the others also slowed down.

"I am sorry if I was rude but I was just curious."

Simon smiled, "Yeah what you heard was true."

"That's weird both the woman loved you too much to the point that they could kill each other for you? that's really inasupicious right?"

Zhan clenched his fist, What the hell is this man trying to say?

Yibo who saw Zhan's anger slowly grabbed his hand from bneath the table.

"You are right your majesty," it was Zhehan who spoke this time, he also finished his drink, "Our duke is just to loveable that anyone can fight for him, and that was his mother and finace we are talking about, the ones who are not related to him also love him

I feel so blessed to have him as my friend."

A-Xiang spoke next, "Yes, Brother Zhehan is right!"

Yibo also added, "Your majesty you might now know but in our gang Duke Simon is that one big brother to whom we all can turn to."

Zhan only smiled while Simon for the first time in a very long time blushed he coughed and poured drinks to everyone.

Zion was quiet and only smiled slightly, "well, you are really liked here  duke."

He coughed lightly and tried to control his smile, "alright be quiet everyone let's enjoy our food."

Yibo spoke, "Wow brother Simon I didn't knew that you could blush as well."

Simon coughed lightly, "That must be alcohol...shall we toast?"

"But what shall we toast too?"

Zhan picked up his glass, "Too the festival of Bastina."

The rest also raised their glass in the air, "Too the festival of Bastina."

And so all of them sat and enjoyed, "Your majesty," Simon spoke to Zion, "why don't you tell us something about yourself is it's not too much to ask."

Zion who was eating his food spoke, "Well you have requested so nicely how can I say no."

SImon smiled and the other quietly listened to him, "Well I was born to the previous empress of the sumedia empire bu she died a few days after giving birth to me my father took in another empress.

And as we all know how vicious step mothers can be, and even my father knew this, and when the second empress gave birth to a prince, my father knew that the empress would try to make her child as the crown prince.

to prevent that my father made me the crown prince, we thought that would stop the empress but alas." Zion sighed.

"She sent numerous assassins after me, and I was just a kid back then, I was seriously injured and trust me I thought that I was dead but miraculously I survived and went back to the palace and the rest is history."

A-Xiang said, "Your majesty, you are brave."

A-Yuan added, "Yes your majesty, you are really brave and strong to survive that."

The others agreed as well, and Simon raised his galss, "Then how about we make the next toast for your victory!"

"Sure." SO everyone once again raised their glass and toasted.

While the rest were busy enjoying Zhan stole glances at Zion for some reason this man just seems off to him, there is just something about him which does not sit right with him.

Zion also looked at Zhan and saw him looking at him but he didnt say or do anything else the two kept looking at each other as if they were having some competition before Zion picked his glass but before putting it to his lip he slightly smirked.

Zhan of course saw it.

By the end of dinner Simon felt tipsy, compared to him others were fine only he was the one who had lesser alcohol tolerance than others.

"Duke Simon you seem drunk." Zhehan spoke and Simon who found it difficult to keep his eyes open just waved his hand,

"Let's go back," Simon said and slowly stood up but stumbled and Zion and Zhehan grabbed his forearm.

Yibo smiled and teased Zhan, "Sean, you rbrother has too many admirers I am afraid one of these days someone is going to kidnap him."

Zhan already possessive for Yibo was now feeling possessive for Simon as well.

"Your majesty you can let go I will ehlp him." Zhehan said, while Zion just smiled,

"It's alright Marquis, you can sit down you already look tired and with alcohol I am afraid you won't be able to handle him."

Simon was already sleepy and he didn't pay attention to his surroundings and this time ti was Zhan who took him out of Zhehan and Zion's grasp.

"Both of you can rest I will take care of my brother."

While Yibo along with A-Xinag and A-Yuan watched while enjoying their desert.

"Brother Yibo, should we help?" A-Yuan said.

Yibo just shook his head, "Let it be this is the consequece of being too loveable."

The two kids nodded and didn't interfere.

And yeah you guys remember when I asked about other two stories with this one? one was bad boy's rich kid and the other was the cupid for my parents recenly my mind if filled with ideas for those books that it's so tough to concentrate.

But I don't start a new book till I finish the ongoings damn this is toture.
