"Where are we going, Sean?" Yibo asked as Zhan dragged him across the streets.

"I am going to take you away from here for a while, Your highness," Zhan said.

Yibo sighed and let Zhan drag him, Soon Zahn went to rent a horse for them.

"Why have you taken only one horse?" Yibo asked

Zhan smiled, "Well your highness...I don't know how to ride a horse"

Yibo looked at Zhan as if he was joking but soon he realized that Zhan was serious.

"How come you don't know how to ride a horse?"

"I didn't have time for that."

"Why? were you busy scheming?"

"Come on your highness please let's drop this," Zhan said and Yibo faintly smiled before getting on the horse and Zhan sat behind him.

Yibo suddenly had an idea he whipped the horse and the horse took off at full speed which scared the shit out of Zhan.

"Woah!! your highness has mercy slow down!!" Zhan said but Yibo actually enjoyed seeing Zhan like this so he made the horse go faster and that made Zhan tightly clutch while begging to have mercy.

"I am sorry for any sin I have committed against you your highness but please have mercy."

Zhan said and soon his face paled when he saw River in front, "Your highness there is a river stop, your HIGHNESS!!" But Yibo didn't stop he drove faster and in the ned made his horse jump over the river.

"NO!!!" Zhan was calling goddess at this point but thankfully Yibo stopped once they reached on the other side Zahn quickly got down from the horse and his legs gave out.

"Your highness, how can you treat your friends like this?"

But in return, He only heard Yibo's heart filled laughter, "HAHAHAHAHA...Oh god, who would have thought that the mighty Sean Zhan WeiXiao would be so scared of horse riding."

Yibo clutched his stomach while laughing while Zhan smiled after seeing Yibo happy after so long.

He stood up and dust his clothes, "Your highness I must say that it was dangerous."

"How come you never rode a horse?"

"I was busy learning to control, Azure, where did you learn the horse riding though."

"My mother had taught me, she loved horses, and she loved riding them because that way she felt like she was flying and talking to the air, horse riding always filled her with thrill."

"I understand your highness," Zhan said.

"Thank you for bringing me out Sean."

"Your welcome, your highness."

"Sean if you don't mind then will you tell me something."

"Sure."

"When have met, I mean I have no recollection of you then how did you become my friend?"

Zhan froze for a second before replying, "Your highness this is a question whose answer I cannot give yet."

"I thought that we are close enough to share everything."

"It's not that your highness, It's just that there is something which you and my brother don't remember and I want it to remain that way."

"So you wish to carry that burden alone?"

"Yes, your highness let me be the only one who remembers everything that way it would be the best for everyone."

"I see, but I hope one day you will tell me." Yibo said and smiled at Zhan, "I'll wait for that day Sean."

Zhan smiled as well but he knew that the secret of his past life will never come out of his mouth never.

"By the way, you must learn horse riding, you are the son of a duke and it is important for you to learn," Yibo said and grabbed before dragging her towards the house.

"No no, your highness it's not important"

"No it is people will laugh at you if you don't," he said and forcefully made Zhan sat down on the horse.

"Your highness, you are mad at me for not telling you right?"

Yibo smiled, "How can that be, Sean, I am just doing this for your own good."

Yibo then gave Zhan all the instructions to Zhan was trembling and was half listening and half not listening.

"Did you get it?"

Zhan nodded and quickly shook his head, "Your highest, please...Woah!! YOUR HIGHNESS HELP!!WOAH!!" Yibo had slapped the horse on the but and the horse ran forwards.

"While Zhan was nearly crying at this point because he can't control it, "Hey horsie stop please stop, yaah!!!"

Yibo laughed harder and in the end, Zhan just jumped down from the horse, while Yibo who was clutching his stomach walked towards him,

Zhan had a straight face as he looked at Yibo,  "You like seeing me get injured right?"

Yibo wiped the corner of his eyes, "I am sorry Sean it's just that I couldn't help it, seeing the high and might..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah I get it you like seeing me make a fool of myself."

Yibo chuckled, "By the way our horse ran away how are we going to get back."

Zhan sighed," Well your highness you are the one responsible for it why are you asking me?"

"Oh come on your brought me out."

Zhan then sighed  and looked here and there and saw a carriage, it was an empty wooden carriage and it seemed like the one riding it was a farmer who had just come back after selling his vegetables in the market "Let's ask him for help"

Yibo nodded and the two ran after him,  thankfully the old grandpa to give them life so the two laid on the open carriage and stared at the orange-ish sky.

"Today was fun," Yibo said.

"Indeed your highness"

"Zhan when everything ends let's go somewhere far."

"Sure."

When Zahn came back home he saw the living room all ransacked and Sapphire sat in the middle with her clothes torn and her hairs were...cute her face was bruised and she was crying badly.

"Oh boy looks like Irene really overdid it today"

"Lady Sapphire?"

Sapphire flinched when she heard Zhan's voice, she felt self-conscious she didn't want anyone to see her like this the duchess was a very cruel woman she had made her life hell

Sapphire wanted to go home but her letters and pleadings would go in vain her family would not her back and the empress will not let her out as well.

No one cares about her all they care about is just the power of the duke and Sapphire couldn't take the abuse anymore.

"Zhan slowly sat in front of her and gently lifted her in his arms before taking her to her room.

Where she burst into tears, Zhan gently removed her hair from her face and signed, "Oh poor you lady Sapphire my mother really overdid it didn't she?"

Sapphire didn't say anything, "Your family and the empress also turned their backs on you didn't they?"

Sapphire cried harder.

"What if I tell you that all of this can stop?"

This and Sapphire alert, "How..."

Zhan smiled, "In the morning when everyone is sleeping, my mother likes to take a walk all alone so when she comes towards the stairs you can push her down."

"What?" Sapphire's eyes widen.

"Sh... just think about it once she will be gone the duke will lose himself too and the entire power if this household will be in your hands what do you think?" Zhan asked but Sapphire didn't reply immediately, Zhan got up, "Think about it lady, otherwise learn to keep on living like this"

With that Zhan left her room.
