Yibo felt really awkward once he reached the temple.

For someone like him who doesn't believe in God, he really didn't know where to go right now, "Jack can I find Silas Hale?"

Jack gently smiled and guided Yibo to the Silas, this was Yibo's first time visiting the temple, and he must say he was quite impressed by the plain yet beautiful design the temple was quiet and soothing.

He was so busy admiring the beauty of the temple that he didn't realize that they had already reached the place he wanted to go.

The big brown doors guarded the entrance and in the gigantic room lit by the sunlight which reflected on the white floor gave the room a golden glow.

And in the very middle of the room was a huge statue of the goddess, and just near her feet stood the man in white clothes, the man didn't turn around but still spoke," I was waiting for you, your highness."

Yibo's eyes widened and he leaned towards Jack and whispered in his ears, "Jack, wasn't he supposed to be blind?"

Just when he finished speaking he heard a burst of gentle laughter, it was Silas, 'your highness I don't need my eyes to recognize people."

Yibo cleared his throat and walked inside the room, it was so big and so soothing and so quiet Yibo felt at peace here, he stood beside the priest and said, "um...do you know why I am here?"

Silas smiled, "how can I not, you are sent here by the one favored by the goddess, hence it will be my pleasure to help you."

Yibo found this man to be very strange, how can a blind man help him? Sure he has some divine eyesight but that's it.

And what's his relation with Sean? How does he know him? As far as Yibo knows Silas was the one who announced that Zhan, the Duke's son was favored by the goddess and after that, he has never mentioned any human who was favored by the goddess.

And Yibo has not even taken Sean's name yet Silas knows he was sent here by the favored man, all is this is making Yibo slowly believe that his theory might be correct.

"Your highness, I see that you have still doubts about my abilities." Silas said, "then allow me to prove my ability to you."

Yibo raised an eyebrow, "how will you prove your ability to me?"

Silas smiled, "you can decide that your highness."

Yibo smirked," if you can defeat me in sword fighting I shall acknowledge you then."

Jack's eyes widened, "your highness that's..."

"I accept your highness." Silas said Yibo who was shocked after listening to this said skeptically, "just because you are blind I will not go easy on you."

" If you go easy on me then that would be very disappointing." Silas said, Yibo took out his sword, "priest should I arrange a sword for you as well?"

The priest shook his head and raised his hand a golden light appeared on his hand and a majestic sword appeared on his hand, " now shall we begin your highness?"

Yibo found this man interesting and smirked, "sure."

He tightened his hold on the sword and jumped towards Silas who to his surprise dodged his attack and attacked him instead.

Yibo was able to stop his attack with his sword but his eyes widened by the strength and agility of this priest, Yibo had to put his entire strength to push the priest away, while the priest had a smile on his face as if everything was so easy for him.

Yibo's heart hammered in his chest he has underestimated this priest even Jack his knight was shocked out of his wits.

"Your highness I will not go easy on you either." He said and repeatedly attacked Yibo, while Yibo felt his energy completely drain by repeatedly stopping the priest's attacks.

Silas didn't give Yibo a chance to attack and drove him to a corner, but Yibo knew if he got trapped in the corner it won't be good so he kicked Silas and moved in the middle.

He was panting heavily and his arms were shaking as well while Silas looked unaffected.

How is this possible? He is a blind old priest then how? Yibo has trained for years and yet in front of him, he looked like a beginner.

This is so insulting.

Yibo felt annoyed and ran toward Silas with his sword but Silas dodged him and swung his sword once again towards Yibo however this time Yibo was barely able to stop his attack.

From Silas's attack, Yibo's sword was shattered into pieces and he felt himself being thrown on the other side of the room from the attack his body collided with the wall before he fell on the floor.

His mouth coughed blood and his arms were shivering, but he still couldn't believe that he lost, the initial shock was very huge for him.

"Your highness!!!" Jack ran towards Yibo and helped him sit up.

Yibo's eyes were still wide and he slowly raised his head to look at Silas who stood in the middle of the room, his hand was empty now there was no sword in his hands now.

"Your highness was I able to impress you?"

Yibo stood up on his legs," who... how...what are you?"

Silas smiled and walked towards him until he was in front of Yibo," I am just a mere priest who serves the goddess, would you like to be my disciple?"

Yibo didn't say anything for a while and stood in his place frozen, but Silas Waited for him patiently.

Yibo Clenched his fist and sighed before kneeling in front of the priest, "Honorary Priest please accept me the third prince of Akkarian empire as your disciple."

Silas closed his eyes and placed a hand on Yibo's head, "I had already desired you as my disciple the first time I saw you, prince, I am glad goddess has granted me my wish today, I shall accept your highness as my disciple."

"Thank you, master."

The priest smile," as long as you are my disciple you shall live in the temple with me your highness."

"But master won't the people question you for taking in a traitor's son?"

"It doesn't matter what people say all that matters is the goddess's will, and a wise man shall not bother with ignorant people."

Yibo smiled faintly," I understand Master, but can Jack and my nanny stay with me."

'"Sure, I shall a letter to the imperial palace Today, your highness you can go bring your belongings."

Yibo nodded, "I see master, then I Shall be back tomorrow."

Author's note: holy shit!! did anyone of you expect Silas like this? I was so excited when I was writing this chapter and my gosh Yibo's reaction was just amazing.

I loved how Yibo went from 'blind priest' to 'honorary priest' lol.

And when Silas said that wanted Yibo as his disciple from the 'very first time they had met.
