"Is it over?" Yanli asked.

Yibo, who was still wet and tired, "let's go back to the palace. He said and walked ahead, followed by others.

Once they reached back to the palace, they saw Sean right in front of Cassandra, looking down at her, "In my time I faced many people like you..." Sean spoke before he bent down such that his face came face to face with Cassandra, "And I ruined them all while enjoying seeing them in agony."

"Sean!" Simon called out to him but regretted it the next moment. His throat has not healed, and he talked a lot today, making his throat ache terribly.

Sean smiled when he saw the others, "Little one! Welcome back. As you can see, everything has been taken care of. Good job everyone."

Simon smiled, "Thank you, if it wasn't for you, then we wouldn't have won."

Sean smiled, "Well I had given my life to build this empire from the scratch, I can't let it get dissolved right?"

Cheng said, "Well, thanks a lot for coming to save us all, but can I ask? why specifically my brother's was chosen to be possessed?"

Sean answered, "Well because you and your family come from the same bloodline as me other than that there was no specific reason, Zhan was not actually fighting someone, so I thought to possess him, while he was with Hoaxuan. I can't possess others because you all were busy fighting.

And possession takes time."

Cheng nodded, "Glad to hear that." while the others were still dumbfounded because they were seeing Sean the founder the legendary man right in front of their eyes, someone about whom they had heard countless stories and legends.

"I should leave now." he said and spoke to Simon, "Remember to keep my book back where it belonged okay?"

Simon nodded before he slowly moved ahead and hugged Sean, who hugged him back, "You did great little one."

"Thank you," Simon said as he broke the hug.

Sean then looked at Yibo, "You better be ready to catch him, after I leave your husband will be unconscious for a while."

Yibo nodded, "Thanks for everything."

"Mention not," Sean said the cold wind blew slapping everyone's face and clouds covered the sun for some minutes the birds flew in the sky. As Sean gave one last glance to everyone before he winked, and suddenly Zhan's eyes closed and his body fell forward but Yibo was already ready so he caught him.

Simon sat beside Zhan as well and checked his heartbeat.

While Cheng finally looked at Cassandra and gave her a wicked smirk, "Well, Well what do we have here?"

Cassandra gulped as she can only glare at Cheng, "Don't come near me, get away from me you cunt!"

Cheng however continued to move towards her till he was very close to her as he gently sat down in front of her, "Your majesty, welcome to permanent hell, I am going to make sure that you experience each and every pain you have caused to us."

Cassandra looked at Wen Qing who was looking back at her, "YOU ABOMINATION, FUCKING WENCH! I DID A MISTAKE BY GIVING BIRTH TO YOU, I SHOULD HAVE KILLED YOU IN THE WOMB OR PERHAPS STRANGLED YOU WHEN YOU WERE BORN YOU FUCKING BITCH.

I HOPE YOU DIE AND I HOPE YOU NEVER GET ANY HAPPINESS IN LIFE."

"SHUT UP!" Cheng yelled and slapped her, "One more word and I will cut off your tongue." He said.  While Wen Qing sighed as she looked at her mother, althought Cassandra never treated her badly but she had to pay for what she did.

In the meatime Alice and Sage also came running to them, "Duke, duke."

Yibo and the other's looked at them and behind them were some soldiers as well, Alice and Sage saw the dead bodies of Aval and Xander and even Haoxuan.

Yibo also couldn't digest the fact that Haoxuan was just gone forever.

Yanli said, "Alice, I want you to send a message to the King Orion that we have won the war, and Princess Wen Qing will be crowned as the next monarch?"

Alice and Sage and nodded but before leaving Sage asked, "Is general okay?"

Yibo looked at them and gave them a small nod. Alice and Sage breathed a sigh of relief and went to get the work done.

In the mean time Aurelia also reached their she was really worried about Simon, so she came to the palace only to find that everything had ended.

"Simon?" Simon looked towards his mother and once again he looked at her with disdain, and looked away.

Aurelia did not say anything after that she was just glad that Simon was okay, she went near Simon and looked at him up and down before sighing that he was okay.

Simon however refused to even look at her, Yibo looked between mother and son but refused to say anything. This was not the time to talk about such things.

Cheng got up and walked towards others ,"We should head back it has been a long day."

And while  no one was watching Cassandra looked at a dagger that was lying near her, it must have belonged to some soldiers she very slowly moved towards it and picked it up before aiming it at Cheng.

Thankfully Yanli saw it, "CHENG WATCH OUT."

Wen Qing saw it too and she hurriedly pushed Cheng out of the way, as Cassandra threw the dagger.

Simon and Yibo's eyes widened as well.

The blood splattered and few drops fell on Simon's face as well.

Everyone froze before Yibo spoke, "Aurelia?"

"Mother?" Simon also spoke, as he looke dat Aurelia whose heart just got peirced with the dagger and she slowly fell to the ground thankfully Simon grabbed her.

Simon looked at his mother with complicated eyes, he never wanter her to die, not like this not so soon, not without having a perfect talk.

Aurelia's mouth was wide agape as she gasped for air, and her eyes were filled with tears, Simon took the dagger from her chest causing her to groan with pain before he cut his own hands and bought his bleeding hand near her mouth.

But she grabbed his hand and shook her head, Simon's eyes were filled with tears as Aurelia closed his hand and gently kissed it, "I...I...am...s..sorry." she said and smiled as she gently raised her hand and touched her son's face wiping his tears that he had no idea were flowing from his eyes.

"I...L...ove you Simon, you are... a...prefect son." she said with a smile one last time before her breathing stopped and her eyes still fixated on Simon's face.

She already had no place in the world, her father never really cared for her and she had no mother either and just like how her father treated her she treated her son same way maybe not as extrme but if Simon would have lived with her then yes she would have the done same to him as her father did to her.

The one she loved, Claude was also dead, and she didn't want to live anymore anyway, not after what she did to her son, she cannot face Simon anymore it was too late anyways they can't have a normal mother and son bond. But atleast she said sorry and said that she loved her son that was enough.

However before dying she did wanted to hear her son's forgivness, but alas one cannot have everything.

Simon finally burst into tears and hugged his mother's body tightly, While Zhehan gently closed Aurelia's eyes. 

And now Simon realized that he never really hugged his mother in last life as well as in this life.

When Zhan woke up, he found himself lying on the bed, his memory was hazy and it wasn't clear how he reached here but slowly scenes flashed before his eyes and didn't remember witnessing them, was he possesed or something?

Zhan felt someone gently caressing his forehead, "You are finally up."

Zhan looked at Yibo, and beside him he also saw Simon with his head down on the bed sleeping.

"What happened?" he asked.

Yibo kissed his forehead and gently replied, "We won."

Zhan nodded, "How many people did we loose?"

"Aval, Xander, Haoxuan." Zhan's eyes widened at the last name.

"What?" Zhan said with a shivering voice he still can't believe that Haoxuan was gone.

Yibo licked his lips, "And Aurelia."

Zhan's eyes widened, "How?"

Cassandra threw a dagger at Cheng he dodged it and Aurelia got hit."

Zhan closed his eyes and sighed, before looking at Simon and caressed his head, "He must have been heartbroken."

Yibo nodded Zhan gently stroked Simon's head, but suddenly Simon grabbed his hand and kissed it and smiled as he looked at him, "I am fine now."

Zhan smiled at him, before Simon said, "However I can still use a hug."

Zhan and Yibo smiled before the three hugged each other.
