When Simon woke up the next time, it was quiet in the room. He looked to his side and saw Zhehan with his head down, sleeping.

He didn't find his father or Zhan, so he suddenly got up and his movement also woke up Zhehan. "Lord Simon, you are awake."

Simon asked him, "Where are my parents and others?" his throat ached but he couldn't care less about it. His voice also came out as weird.

Zhenan blinked. "What are you talking about?"

Simon grabbed his shoulder and shook him. "Where are they, Zhehan?" he screamed and felt salty blood in his mouth. It was not good for him to speak so much, but he did not care.

Zhehan was shocked when he was being yelled, "Duke and the others have gone to attack the palace!"

Simon's eyes widened and he quickly stood up and so did Zhehan, 'What are you doing? you will get hurt?"

Simon frowned and kept his hand on his chest it still ached but he was pretty much healed not fully but seventy percent, "I have to go Zhehan. I have to save them."

Zhehan grabbed his arm, "But why? duke and the others are prepared it was fully planned nothing can go wrong."

"Yes, it can go wrong everything can go wrong because they don't know Lilith!" Simon spoke with so much terror in his eyes that Zhehan can't help but be worried as well.

Simon put on a jacket and ran outside, with his loose pants, he didn't even bother to wear slippers so Zhehan took them and ran behind him.

Aurelia came face to face with Aurelia but ignored her, "where are you going? wait, Simon?' She grabbed his arm but he pushed her with so much force that she fell to the ground and he didn't bother to look back.

He walked bare feet outside but Zhehan stopped him, "Lord Simon please wait."

"I AM NOT GOING TO STOP ZHEHAN!" He screamed so loudly that blood came from his mouth.

Zhehan flinched but nodded he bent down and placed slippers in front of him, "Wear them, I will take out the horse I will take you there." he said and ran away without hearing anything else.

Simon wanted him to stay back but he knew that it was a useless argument.

Aurelia came out, and gently asked without touching him, "Where are you going, Simon?"

Simon didn't bother to answer her, he walked where Zhehan was, once Zhehan took out the horse both of them sat on it and Zhehan was the one who drove.

Simon closed his eyes and kept his hand on his chest, because of the pain and also because he remembered, Sean, "Sean... you have to help me this time, please"

As they walked they didn't notice the black book glowed.

"CASSANDRA!" Yibo called out to her as he stood behind her in the open ground glaring at her, like a hungry and wounded lion.

Cassandra flinched and glared back  at him, she moved back, "You can't kill me."

"Of course, I am no going to kill you I am going to do worse, you touched my son, death would be very kind for you," he said and without any more arguments, he walked towards Cassandra.

"Lilith!" Cassandra called out again and this time a black figure appeared in front of Cassandra, Yibo stopped in his tracks as he saw Lilith for the first time, and just like Wen Qing had shown, she was demonic.

But she didn't scare of Faze Yibo.

"Save me, Lilith, use your powers save me," Cassandra spoke and Lilith followed her orders and jumped at Yibo who dodged her and used his sword to attack her, Yibo swung his sword and managed to cut her hand but it got attacked her again.

However, Yibo did not give up and neither did she.

Meanwhile, Cassandra tried to run from there but she was kicked by Yanli who came face to face with her.

"Where do you think you are going your majesty," Yanli spoke, Cassandra grabbed the neared sword that came to her hand and prepared to fight Yanli.

Meanwhile, Zhan who was right behind them felt a stinging pain in his head, he abruptly stopped in the middle.

Haoxaun who was right behind him called out to him, " general? what's wrong?"

But Zhan did not reply the headache was so intense that he collapsed on the floor.

Haoxuan was right behind him and did his best to protect him.

"GENERAL ZHAN PLEASE GET BACK ON YOU FEET" Hoaxuan begged him. But in return Zhan only yelled louder his head felt like it was going to burst, on the other hand, Simon's book glowed brighter. 

Haoxuan snaked his arm around Zhan's waist and took him to a safe place, hiding him there.

While Yibo fought with Lilith, he realized that no matter what he did Lilith just won't die, a stab to the heart wouldn't kill her, and a slit to the throat was not killing her either.

Yibo still didn't give up.

Yanli kicked Cassandra sending her to the ground. Cassandra screamed as Yanli was ready to attack her but suddenly Lilith appeared in front of her protecting her.

Yibo stumbled forward as Lilith suddenly disappeared in the front of him.

Yanli attacked Lilith as well but as usual, her attacks also couldn't do any harm to Lilith.

Suddenly a loud noise was heard and everyone looked towards the direction from where the loud noise was and they saw many people, with black eyes like Lilith walking towards them.

Those people were like puppets.

Cassandra smirked and Yibo and others looked at them with terror.

Yibo saw his soldiers attacking those demonic people but it was of no use these people ould heal fast and were extremely strong like madly sting with their bare hands without any weapons they were breaking the neck of soldiers and beheading them.

Aval and Xander also ran to fight them but they were also killed.

Haoxuan looked at Yibo who was only staring at those people.

In the meantime, Cassandra stood up and was ready to attack Yanli, with her dagger.

"MARQUIS WATCH OUT!" Haoxuan yelled and Yanli was quick to attack she moved her sword faster than Cassandra swung her dagger and Yanli cut off Cassandra's hand from her body.

Cassandra yelled with agony with utter pain and agony as she collapsed to the ground.

"Mother?" Lilith called out to her and but she then glared at Yanli, "How dare you!!"

Lilith's voice was demonic and scary it became deeper Yanli stumbled back and Yibo moved ahead to assist Yanli, but Yanli handled Lilith who had jumped on her.

Yanli kicked Lilith's abdomen and making her stumble back.

Lilith screamed and charged again. But this time it was Hxoaun who faced her, he tried his best but Lilith was so angry that she grabbed Haoxuan's sword with her bare hands and snatched it from him.

Yibo screamed his name, "HAOXUAN!" and before he can move Lilith kept her hand on Haoxuan's head and with one swift move snapped his neck.

Yibo watched with horror as Hoaxuan's body slowly fell to the ground.

At the same time, those demonic puppets also ran toward them.

This time the soldiers also stepped back unsure of what to do and Yanli and Yibo froze as well.

No this can't be everything was going so smoothly nicely then why?

Cassandra laughed, "Yes, yes Lilith defeat them all but don't kill them I want them alive."

Yanli and Yibo took a step back as the people came closer and closer, but suddenly everything stopped.

Like stopped.

Those people stopped dead in their tracks. 

Cassandra stopped laughing and Lilith and others also looked in their direction.

What just happened but everything soon became clear when Yibo spotted Simon and Zhehan on a horse.

With them were Wen Qing and Cheng.

Simon slowly got down from the horse, his eyes blood red, like red like Lilith's red eye on her forehead.

Simon's body trembled he was using too much power, when he was ill, controlling all these puppets, all these strong and almost invincible puppets was a huge strain on him, especially when there were at least five hundred or more of them.

However Simon did not care he was not going to let anyone die anymore not till he is alive, he walked and came near Cassandra and Lilith. Using too much power made his eyes bleed and made him cough blood

"SIMON!" Yibo yelled and ran to his son.

Simon was glaring at Cassandra. Who yelled t Lilith, "Do something, Lilith, DO SOMETHING MAKE THEM ATTACK THEM!"

Listening to her mother's orders Lilith used her strength to make the puppets move and resists but Simon was putting forth his best effort, no he did more than his best.

In the meantime, Yanli ordered every soldier, "Attack them both hurry."

Cassandra paled, "LILITH DO SOMETHING LILITH SUMMON THE GHOSTS!"

Lilith closed her eyes and the soldiers ran to them but Cassandra gulped as she felt so scared that she came closer to Lilith sheer terror was on her face.

She closed her eyes when the Soldiers came closer but before any soldiers could even touch her, black shadows appeared out of nowhere and killed them all.

Terror was seen on everyone's faces. Simon glared at her.

"What are those?" Zhehan asked.

Simon spoke, "This is the art of Necromancy."
