"What are we going to do?" Yanli asked as she was sitting beside Cheng and Miles.

They were in the temple of Nirvana. It was raining outside as they sat there. "Let's wait till brother Zhan and brother Yibo are here and then we can discuss."

Yanli sat back and sighed they had no idea whether Yibo or Zhan was alive or not.

Cheng asked, "Is the princess really captured?"

Miles answered, "Yes."

"The Queen will not kill her, right?" Cheng asked.

And Miles did not answer immediately. He took his time before he said, "I don't know."

There was silence again before footsteps outside. They all stood up and took out their weapons, being quiet and careful, the door was soon opened and four figures came in, The three sighed when they saw Zhan, Yibo, Zhehan, and Haoxuan.

Everyone was quietly seated around the fire.

Haoxuan and Miles bought some fish for everyone to eat.

No one said a word still recovering they ate quietly, however, Yibo just held the stick in his hand and stared at the fire.

Zhan noticed the absent mindedness of his husband but said nothing it was obvious Yibo was dying from the worry about his son.

"Are we going to just sit here and do nothing?" Miles asked.

While no one looked at him they all heard him clearly.

But no one said anything, Zhehan looked at them they were his elders and he respected them and he is the kid here who looked up to them with hope.

Miles said, "Your homes were burned and you guys are declared dead or traitors, everyone will be after your heads... and this can demotivate our allies, we don't even have a way to communicate."

 Yibo clenched his fists as he heard Miles's words his worries for his son skyrocketed and he became disturbed he wanted to get up and storm out and burn those people who will harm his son.

He felt his hand being grabbed, bringing him out of his thoughts, he looked to his side Zhan squeezed his hand and said, "We will save he will be with us very soon."

"And what if we are late?" Yibo asked.

"No we won't be we will save him," Zhan said with determination firmly.

"How are you so sure?"

"Because he is loved by the goddess."

Everyone else heard them and it was quiet again before Cheng spoke, "There is a way."

Everyone looked at him, as he spoke, "We are alive..."

He said as he took a deep breath, "We have to send out allies the message that we are alive and we have to go to them..."

"But how are we going to let them know?" Haoxuan asked.

Cheng pointed towards the caged birds that he had bought, they were at least five cages, "These birds are trained... we can send messages through them they are only five but even if we are able to contact allies it would be enough those five will contact the rest.

We, Will, give them instructions while they attack from outside we will attack from the inside with Haoxuan's men that he trained and the nobility Xander, Sage, Avel, I am sure they will help us since they are indebted to us.

"But this will take some days..." Cheng said as he looked at Yibo.

Yibo was not a fool to not understand that it will indeed take a few days, because it was still raining and if it kept on raining then the birds won't be able to travel.

Haoxuan spoke, "I will contact my men... I will go out."

Cheng spoke, " We all will."

Zhan spoke, "Miles, Sister, I, and Yibo will go to nobles."

Cheng spoke, " Zhehan and I will wait for a message from the allies."

"Okay."

Zhan spoke, "I have some things." he said and opened his bag, "This is Simon's book and his blood. I think we all should take them, we all have to survive."

They nodded and took the small bottles.

"But we would need some sort of communication," Zhehan spoke.

And the others agreed Cheng spoke, "It's won't be possible. We are limited but how about we set a date? it will take at least two weeks to get in touch with the nobles and you guys cannot leave because it's raining, and seeing how bad the weather is, it will take four more days for the rain to stop, till them birds can't fly.

And to send everyone a message it is going to take many more days... hence let's say we have to wait at least one month."

Yibo's heart stopped when he heard that, one month was a very long time god knows what they will do to Simon at this time.

And not just him Zhan and the others were also worried for Simon.

However, he also knows that he can not really do anything about it.

"Fine." Yibo said, "One month later... on the date exactly one month later we are going to meet here at the same place ."

"Let's do this," Yibo said. 

And the others repeated, "Let's do this!"

The Royal court was quiet as the nobles were seated in their places.

"Why do you think that we have been called here?" one of the nobles asked.

"I think it has something to do with the duke of the north."

"Yeah, i saw his mansion while coming here it was ruined burned to ashes."

"Even Marquis's state was burned."

"What do you think happened?"

Alice, Philip's daughter, and Avel, Dennis's son were also there alone with Xander and Sage and they heard everything.

Soon the Queen came into the room everyone got up and bowed to her, she walked to the throne and sat on it and once she sat on it the others also sat in their place.

Cassandra spoke, "as you all know the unfortunate incident that happened with the duke of north and his relatives... but what you all don't know is that the duke of north was plotting rebellion against the throne."

Everyone looked at each other Aval clenched his fist and so did the others.

Cassadra smiled and said, "Bring them in."

The guards then bought something in the room, some black and bid and once the others saw it from close they knew that it was a burned dead body.

"These are the bodies of the duke his partner and his sister-in-law and his brother-in-law, now, I want everyone to take a good look at them, this is how all the traitors and rebels meet  their end..."

Everyone was shocked and quiet.

"I will say this once, people here in this room are smart and capable they are not foolish enough to go against me right, however, if anyone wants to end up like them they are most welcome."

Everyone looked at her and then as the dead bodies Alice, spoke, "Duke Aval... what now?"

Aval had his hands clenched as he stared at the dead bodies.

Xander spoke, "How are we so sure that these are the bodies of the duke of north and his relatives?"

As if Cassandra she spoke, "There are many despicable beings out there and some of them will sue this chance to pretend to be Duke and his family, the con-artists. I want you all to be careful of them and if you come across then it will be great if you helped the state catch them.

Such despicable beings will be killed publicly."

Sage spoke, "The Duke and the others are alive, the Queen probably announced them dead so that she can take over the northern army and duke's estate."

Cassandra then spoke, "Our provinces and the kingdom's under us will be following new policies from now on, they will have someone from our empire present in their court and record all their meetings.

They will be allowed to keep the army but the number of soldiers will depend on us. They can only keep as many soldiers as we say.

And that tax rates are going to increase."

The murmurs were heard in the crown, Alice said in disbelief, "Are we not going to say anything?"

Aval looked down with rage, his eye was red and he grabbed the corners of the chairs to keep himself from trembling from anger.

Xander said, "There is no use."

Cassandra added, "With this, we will conclude today's session, everyone, dismissed."
