Avni was about to leave until he held her hand. "Neil?" She asked. He then pulled her down and grabbed her in a bone crushing hug, tears spilling out. "I'm sorry Avni, but I can't be with you" he cried. Hearing those words made Avni shocked as she broke the hug. She knew that Neil will be hurt but never knew that he would react that way. She indeed was heartbroken and started crying. She ran away from the place while Neil called after her. "Avni! Avni!" He cried. He then saw a horrible sight infrong of him. Avni was standing on the road with a car coming infront of her. She was so upset right now. The one person that she trusted didn't even want her now. The car was less than an inch closer to her when she felt a strong pair of arms pulling her away. Neil and Avni both fell on the ground and rolled away to the grass. They shared an intense eye lock as they were showing all their love in it. Avni broke the eye lock and pushed Neil away. Neil then grabbed her shoulders. "Neil leave me!" She exclaimed"Pagal ho gay tu? What if that car hit you?" he screamed. "Why do you care huh? You don't even want me!" And with that she ran away crying while he dropped to his knees as she misunderstood him. Avni ran away to home crying in her bedroom and with everyone being worried for her. Neil's condition wasn't better either. He was crying hysterically too. Avni had misunderstood what he was saying and he didn't know what to do. He sat down at the rocks with his head buried in his knees. He then felt a hand on his shoulder. "Aap?!" he exclaimed.
At Riya house, Avni was at the balcony crying. She looked at the stars and the moon finding solace. "Maa where are you? You know I am missing you immensely. I wish you were here Maa. I want your support and your love here. The one person that I love the most beside my son doesn't want to be with me. What's wrong with me huh? Why did god made me suffer so much!! Sometimes I'm just done! I don't want to live in this world! I just wish I wasn't a sin. Everyone who was close to me went away and even Neil will too! I wish I could just.." she was then stopped by a voice. "Avni!!" Riya exclaimed. Riya was angry and was glaring at Avni. "Kya bol rahi tu? You don't want to live huh? Well did you forget that you have a son! Don't you remember that you have a family consisting of parents that love you! Shweta Aunty and Prakash uncle love you like their own daughter especially Prakash uncle" she cried to Avni. "What about me huh?" Asked Nanno. "Nanno I..." Avni stammered not knowing what to say to her. "Beta I already lost your mother and I don't want to lose you. Neil has gone crazy and isn't speaking sense. He's just in a shock that's it". "Nanno is Right Avu!". Avni shook her head. "No Riya I lost him. He doesn't want to be with me." Riya and Nanno then started hugging her, consoling her.
At the rocks. "Aap?" he asked confused. "Ji Neil!" said Neela Maa. "Kahan Thi maa? I was missing you so much m. Me and Avni miss you every day." "I may not be there physically but I'm there spiritually and mentally". Neil then gave Neela Maa a tight hug while she hugged him back affectionately rubbing his back . "Maa I lost her today! I lost the love of my life today. I lost my Avni" he whimpered. " No baccha don't say that. You and Avni are two missing pieces of a puzzle m. You guys stick together and will only stick together." " But Maa she misunderstood me! The reason I said I don't want to be with her is because I don't deserve to be with her. I was such a terrible husband and I couldn't do anything for her during her tough time". Neela cupped his chin. "Then Beta do something now! Look you couldn't be with her before and you can't change the past but support her now. Show her that you love her and will only be with her". "But Maa, I don't deserve her. She doesn't deserve me as her husband". "It's not about deserving Beta. God made you a couple and no one can break that. It's your duty to be with her and support her in her toughest time which is now!" Neil nodded and gave Neela one final hug before he left. "Thank you so much Maa!". He turned around only to find Neela missing. He realized that Neela Maa was a part of his imagination. He rushed home where he found Avni alone on the balcony. He went to her signalling Nanno and Riya to go and hugged her from behind. "Avni we need to talk". Avni turned around ignoring him. Neil then grabbed Avni and pulled her on the ground on top of him. He trapped her on the ground looking at her intently. "Neil leave me" she said sternly. "First listen"."Why should I listen huh? You don't even want to be with me?!" she retorted. "Avni it's not that I don't want you to be with me. It's just that I thought I shouldn't be with you. I'm such a terrible husband who couldn't support his wife when she needed him the most. I didn't think that you deserved me". He was shut by a finger on his lips. Avni glared at him with a intense but tearful look in her eye. "Chup bilkul chup! Neil you couldn't do anything then so let's not think about it. Right now I just want to focus on our present and future. Are you ok with that, my super cop?". Neil smiled, hugging Avni more as if his life depended on it. "Yes" he said pecking the top of her head. They then stayed there in that position, looking at the stars cuddling and planning their life. They were thinking of how to Mowglis birthday and what to do. They ended the night with looking at the stars finding solace
