"Now look out Avni Neil Khanna. Your darling hubby is here to pacify you" he said to himself with a determined look in his eyes. While this was happening downstairs, another thing was happening upstairs. Riya was in Avni's room, trying to get her to eat breakfast. "Babes, come on please eat breakfast." "How can I eat it when he's here huh? Looking at him makes me lose my appetite. Makes me remember the harsh words that he said to me. Makes me remember of his distrust". "Well I could say the same about you but when I look at you, I just get hungry for more" said Neil who arrived at the door, looking intently at Avni and her lips and then pouted. Avni shook her head and looked the other way. "Chee Neil! Don't you feel ashamed of acting like this in front me" asked Riya musely, enjoying their banter. "When my wife is in front of me, I don't care of who is around of me. She has an effect of me and she has charmed me in her love" said Neil. "Not bad" said Riya doing a hand action. "Now you convince your wifey to eat, I am tired of trying to convince her". Neil smiled mentally at this as he knew what he had to convince her to eat. "What can I do to make her eat when I don't wanna eat either." Avni then looked at Neil glaring. "Oh really, are you some king that you will not eat here but will eat at a five star restaurant?" she taunted. She was about to leave, when Neil held her wrist and pulled her closer.  "Neil leave me" she said. "I will once you agree to eat and until then I will hold you like this", "forever" he whispered huskily in her ear, giving her a kiss on her ear lobe. "Ok fine, Tillu I will eat" she whispered but not before stomping on his feet. "Ouch" said Neil holding his foot. "That's what you get for not wanting to eat" exclaimed Avni. "Now why are you standing here? Eat naa". Neil shook his head. He knew it would take a long time to pacify her but he was willing to do it for Avni. His lady don. His love and his life. Avni then headed to the kitchen and served everyone except for Neil. "Avni what about me" asked Neil. "Oh my Tillu! Are you some King that has to be served? Can't you serve yourself?" she taunted. "Avni!" Nanno scolded. "Its ok Nanno, my lady Don is right. I can serve myself but when my queen is serving, I rather have her feed me".   "Oh please never in a million years, I will feed you" said Avni. Neil started pouring some soup and spilled some on his hand. "Ouch" hissed Neil, who started to feel the burn on his hand. "Neil! Can't you do anything properly?" asked Avni, who grabbed his hand and started blowing on it. "I will do his ointment" Avni stated and grabbed his hand to the bedroom while Neil followed her like a meek puppy. "God, I just hope Avneil reunite soon. I can't see them like this. Neil is trying his best but Avni is not even paying attention to him" pleaded Riya. "Moi Bachi is stubborn like my Ayesha but she is strong unlike her. She takes after me. Son in Law will take a long time pacifying her. Take it from me" said Nanno. "Poor boy is trying so hard but he doesn't know that handling women is something that men can't do. Ultimately it is the woman who wins at the end" stated Nanu, only to be welcomed by a glare of Nani. "Harish, I can see that. Are you to trying to say that I am hard to Handle" asked Nani. "Oh no I don't mean that" stated Harish who was just welcomed with more glaring from Nani. "What were you trying to say Nanu" asked Riya, teasingly. "Chup Kar" exclaimed Nanu while everyone laughed. Meanwhile in the bedroom, Avni was applying ointment to Neil's hand while blowing on the wound tenderly. "Duffer, you can't even get soup properly. Now look at what you did" she shook her head. Neil was falling in love with her again. He knew that he hurt with his words but he wanted to let her emotions out because he couldn't see her hurt later on. He knew that she wasn't hurt but since her past came back, he knew that it would haunt her back like it did with Dayawanti. He couldn't stand her bad dreams and the nightmares. He was staring at her intently and lovingly while she tended to the dressing.  "Neil where are you lost?" asked Avni. "Nothing" he said shaking his head. Avni then left him and went to finish breakfast. After breakfast, Riya and Avni did some shopping while Neil stayed home to rest as he was tired.  While he was at home, Neil started a video chat with the Khanna clan, Ali and Aman. "Yaar, I don't know what to do?" whined Neil. "OH I don't cares whats yous do oks?! I just want my daughter back" exclaimed Shweta. "Oh calm down Madam Madonna, let me talk to him. Dekh Beta you hurt her and now you can pacify her. " said Bebe. "But I don't know what to do? I know she still loves me but is still mad at the words that I told her. Ali you tell me naa, she is your best friend." cried Neil. "Yaar she is my best friend but I don't know what to do. My best friend is stubborn. In fact I think it runs in the family! All I can suggest is that confront her and give her her favourite things like chocolate as Avni is still childish". "Jiju why don't you give her a gift?" suggested Aman. "No yaar. She is not materialistic. She doesn't like all these things. She will appreciate them but it won't get her forgiveness". "Papa! I have an idea" exclaimed Mowgli. "Tiger tell me" cried Neil. Mowgli then told the idea to Neil. "We used to do this in Kashid and she always felt better". "Not bad tiger! I will definitely try".  "Good Luck" said everyone holding their thumbs up. Neil smiled at their happiness. They too wanted him to reunite with Avni as well. Neil then bid them a good bye and started preparing for the surprise. Soon it was night time and Neil and Avni headed to sleep but instead got a surprise for them. Pleasant for Neil but bad for Avni. "Avni, I'm sorry but we don't have extra rooms. Nanno is staying in Riya's room and Riya is sleeping with me. We only had one extra guest room which we gave it to you. Neil will have to sleep you". "No problem aunty, I don't have a problem with that" Neil stated smiling at the thought that he will get to sleep with his wifey but little did he know that his wifey was already thinking of something. "That's ok aunty, I can sleep with Nanno. After all, I haven't seen her for a long time. I will get to sleep with her and spend time with her" she said smirking. Neil world fell down hearing that. He so wanted to sleep with but couldn't. He remained sad until Nanno came. "Moi bachi, you think you are so smart huh? But don't forget your Nanno is smarter than you. You realized that I can't sleep with someone. Riya bed is only a single bed and can only have one person sleeping in it. More of all, I kick in my sleep and so I will probably make you fall down". Neil smiled gratefully at Nanno while she just gave him a thumbs up. They then left leaving Avneil in the room. Avni proceeded towards the couch while Neil held her arm. "What are you doing huh?" he asked. "Dancing! What do you think I'm doing. I'm sleeping on the couch". "When's there is a bed than why don't you sleep here?" he asked. "Oh hello, I am not sleeping on the bed with you. Why should I share a bed with a man who doesn't respect me huh?". Neil felt hurt at her words. "Ok fine, let me sleep on the couch and you on the bed?". "Ok" Avni complied. They then went to sleep and around 2:00 am, Avni started to get the nightmare. "Don't touch me! Don't harm me! Please don't harm the kids! I will make sure everyone knows your deeds" she cried in her sleep. Neil woke up to her cries and went to her to console her. (Think of the scene when Avni had nightmares about Dayawanti and slept on Neil's hand). He tried waking her up but instead she grabbed his hand and slept on it. Neil smiled thinking of that memory and slept too beside her on the bed while sitting on the floor.
