Avni woke up due to the sunlight rays disturbing her. She turned around and saw Neil sitting on the floor while his head was on the side rest sleeping on her hand. "Oh god look how cute he looks" she thought. She wanted to give him a peck on the side of his head but stopped. "Oh God avni what are you doing huh? You are supposed to be mad at him". She turned around while at the same time he woke up and grabbed her arm. They were sharing an eye lock right now, their nose touching. Neil proceeded towards her lips but she instead just turned allowing him to bang his head on the mattress instead. "What were you doing huh? I warned you to not sleep with me"  she exclaimed raising her finger at him. "Excuse me if you didn't forget, I am Neil Khanna, and I respect girls. It was that you were having nightmares yesterday and then I went to console you and you in your sleep form grabbed my hand and slept on it. Like it was comfort".  Avni smiled mentally. Neil's respect for woman is one of the reasons she loved him but to her lately it seemed that he didn't respect woman or at least her. Because if he did, than he would respect her decision.  She kept herself lost in thoughts, wondering why Neil acted the way before and thought about the nightmare she had yesterday. For some reason even if she didn't want to admit it, she liked the comfort of his hands though she would never tell him. Neil noticed her lost in the thoughts and decided to tease her. "Wow wifey, I didn't think I was that handsome that you lose yourself in your thoughts about me". "Neil you like to self praise yourself huh?". "What can I do if I'm that handsome. After all you did fall for me" he smirked. "Oh please, you fell for me ok".  Neil smiled at this. She indeed was right. "Neil Khanna would never fall for a girl like you ok". "Neil what do you mean huh" Avni fumed. "Oh please Avni, I think you know what you mean" he teased.  Avni then grew angry at him and started hitting pillows at him starting a pillow fight. Neil fought with her, enjoying it as he would do anything to tease her and make her laugh. Their pillow fight grew intense and the whole room was filled with feathers. Neil then grabbed Avni's pillow and threw it to the side and pinned her to the bed. "Neil! What are you doing?" shrieked Avni. "Ssh" said Neil tracing his finger along her beautiful face. He traced each feature of her beautiful face. Her eyes, her cheeks, her nose and finally her lips. He proceeds towards her lips until a knock disturbed their moment. Avni then pushed Neil out of the way and opened the door to Riya. Riya looked around the room and mused. "Wow I must say that you guys were busy huh?". Avni blushed. "It's nothing of that sort. This duffer decided to start a pillow fight and its all because of him" said Avni. "Oh hello, you were the one who started hitting me with pillows. I suffered a lot of pain" he whined. "You started it because you were the one who called me fat. " "I never called you fat. I said I wouldn't fall for a girl like you because I would keep going to the hospital for my whole life, when I look at you due to your beauty. Any guys would fall for you and I don't mind that because they would just keep going to the hospital due to the spell that you cast with your beauty" corrected Neil. "Aweh how cute" Riya exclaimed while Avni just looked away but she was smiling which wasn't unoticed by Neil. "Anyway Babes, I want to take you sightseeing in New York. Neil do you want to join us?" she asked. Avni rolled her eyes. "Riya do we have to take this monkey with us?" she asked. "I heard that" said Neil. "You were supposed to" said Avni. "I wish I can but I'm busy with some work". "He just came here? What work could he have? God Avni what are you doing? Why do you care?" thought Avni. Riya nodded and Neil left from there. After breakfast, Riya took Avni too all the sightseeing in New York. They went to Rockefeller Centre, Hard Rock Cafe and lastly Central Park. Avni was in awe seeing in Central Park. "Wow Riya this is so pretty. I love how green this area is. And the fact that's it by a pond is what makes it even more prettier". "I know Avu. Me and Ali and Aliya would go on walks here. It's always so vibrant". Avni went to the pond and kneeled down and sprinkled some water on her face like a child. Avni loved doing it and Riya loved seeing Avni's childishness. Someone else from far saw her and loved it too. Avni walked back to Riya, when a child approached her and gave her a rose.  Avni became overwhelmed at the child's gesture. She took the flower and smelled it. "Thank you but where did you get this rose?". The child pointed to a man playing the guitar. The man turned around and it revealed to be Neil strumming the guitar.

He then started dancing with the kids around him who joined him with balloons and flowers/

The kids started giving her flowers and balloons while Neil danced around her. He tried to make her laugh with him trying to act to smile and laugh but Avni being stubborn did not laugh in from him. Neil then pouted and went to the kids who pushed him further.  He stumbled into Avni who just pushed him further and started walking away

Neil then came in front of her and started dancing again. He then started holding her hands and proceeded to dance while Avni was becoming frustrated and irritated. She then did the maneuver that he taught her earlier and pushed him further.  Neil then just pouted while Avni just laughed at his misery.  He then started dancing with the kids making a brushing hand movement telling her to brush her feelings.

The kids then grew a circle around Avni and Riya and started dancing with her. Avni smiled and did the same. She gave each kid a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. She carried some kids in her arms and started doing some dance with them. She made a train with them and flew them in the air.

The kids then presented Avni with some drawings and chocolate while Avni smiled thinking of the time when the kids in Kashid made her forgive them that way. She wasn't sure if Neil knew that or not but she was glad that this happened.  Neil then came to her, grabbing her arms into a dance and twirling her all around.

Avni then pushed Neil and went back to the kids. She started dancing with him acting now what will you do?? The kids copied her while Neil grew mad at the fact that the kids that were with him were no agains him. She then danced sideways (remember the scene with Avni is trying to make Neil to forgive her).

Neil then grabbed her waist and carried her bridal style twirling her around while Avni kept flailing her legs. Neil then thanked the kids and took Avni away to a nearby bridge."Neil what are you doing? People are staring at us" exclaimed Avni. "I don't care. I will hold you until you forgive me". "that will never happen". "Fine. I'll stay like this" and with that Avni just crossed her arms.  They stayed like this for about 5 minutes and people kept on staring.  "Neil please leave me" she pleaded. "Forgive me first", he smirked. "Ok Baba, I forgive you, now will you let me down". Neil did as he told and she started to leave until Neil held her wrist. "Avni, please forgive me. I shouldn't have acted that way. I did it for a reason" he cried, with tears in his eyes. Avni then started crying too. "What reason huh? What reason does it state that a husband is rude to his wife? You know how much you hurt me? I couldn't believe that you doubted my love. Especially after the sacrifice I did for our family". Neil wiped her tears and held her tight while she kept on crying. "Avni shush! I did this so I could get you to force the truth about Adhiraj. You know I wouldn't force you into anything but whatever Adhiraj did to you keeps haunting you. Your nightmares stopped as you thought he was in jail but since he came back, he haunts you in your nightmares. I cannot see you have bad dreams like this. I can't see you scared. I just wanted my strong lady don Avni back". "Neil, fine I will tell you about my past with Adhiraj. But you have to promise me that you will not do anything". "Ok baba I promise". "Ok so it started like this" she choked.

I probably will not update this for a bit because I will be busy in the next few days. I also want to see my readers wait anxiously for the next chapter. It gives me utmost joy and satisfaction.
