3 Months Leap

Now Avni is in her third month of pregnancy.  The past 3 months for her have been rollercoaster of emotions. She went through mood swings, cravings and morning sickness. Nevertheless she had her Neil with her. Neil would stay with her every minute of her day, holding her hair when she threw up, massaging her body and taking care of Mowgli when she was tired. Bebe and Shweta pampered her with fulfilling her cravings much to the dismay of Neil who knew that his wife had to eat healthy.

Avni on the phone: Riya, yaar this Neil has been driving me crazy. The whole day he is ordering me. Don't walk, don't work, don't eat this and don't drink this. I have gone tired.

Riya: Yaar at least your husband isn't a chef. Ever since we found out that I became pregnant two months ago, Ali has been making these weird  healthy recipes that he found online. One day he fed me this healthy drink which was disgusting

Yes Riya is pregnant. She is currently two months pregnant as Ali wanted to fulfil his daughter wish or you could say his wish ;)

Avni: First they give us pleasure then give us torture by ordering us around.  Our husbands are like hitler. Neil says I'm lady Don but he is no less than hitler always telling me what to do

Riya: I agree. I feel that these husband go through military camps before we get pregnant. Anyway I have to go. I have to get Aliya ready and pick up my mom and grandparents from the airport.

Avni: Oh yeah Hetal Chachi and Nanu and Nani are coming to india to stay with you for your pregnancy. If you don't mind me asking then why didn't you  and Ali just move back to New York?

Riya: That's what me and him decided by Nanu and Nani were stubborn on moving back to India. They miss their country. Anyway my hitler chef is calling me. I have to go. Take Care!

Avni chuckled and ended the call. She turned around and saw Neil on her right in the doorway. He was standing with a class of water and had an annoyed look on his face. 

Avni: Neil!

Neil: Neil or hitler?

Avni bit her tongue: Neil you weren't supposed to hear that. You know how much I love you. 

She then pouted make a puppy dog face. Neil looked at her and was about to melt but knew that he still had to be mad at her. He turned away not looking at her. 

Avni then knew her stubborn husband and turned him towards her. She then held her ears: Sorry.

Neil: Avni you know that what I am doing is for your benefit naa. I want you to be healthy and strong during your pregnancy. I want my children be strong like their mom.

Avni nodded and went close to him and wrapped her hands around his neck: By the way you look even more hot when you are angry.

Neil smiled at this. He knew that during pregnancy Avni moodswing went on full blast. She sometimes acted sad to annoyed to seductive. But he had to admit that seeing her seductive side made him go mad. She was about to kiss him but instead put her hand on her mouth and rushed to the bathroom.

Neil: Avni!

Avni was throwing up constantly due to her morning sickness while Neil held her hair back. After throwing up, her head started throbbing. "Neil.." she said weakly. "Yes Avni" he replied patting her cheeks. "Please take me to the bed...". Neil agreed and carried her bridal style to the bed. There he layed her down and pulled a blanket, letting her rest. He then went to do some work where he got some news on his mission. He found out that Adhiraj's drug business is still being handled by his best friend and it was his job to destroy it. He personally wanted to do it as he was still furious at Adhiraj for what he did to Avni. He could never forgive him until he dies. 

At dinner time everything was made Avni's favourite as Shweta was tending to her cravings."Mummyji thank you soooooo much!!!!!!!!!" cried Avni as she hugged Shweta tightly. Shweta smiled and caressed her forehead. "Stay happy like this". After dinner, Neil made an announcement. "I have to go for a mission for a month. Commissioner sir has specially asked me for this" announced Neil. Everyone face fell flat as they heard the news. They didn't want Neil to leave especially Avni. But she knew she had to do it for the sake of her husband as she was the one who made him join the police force. "Neil but why now? Especially since Avni needs you" asked Prakash. "Yes Tillu, you shouldn't leave your wife" cried Shweta. "Mummyji, Papaji, its just a matter for a month. I can handle it. Plus it would be great to take a break from your son. He has been troubling me so much with his orders. DOn't eat this, don't drink this" said Avni. Everyone chuckled except for Neil. "Oh hello, I am doing it for your favour". "Yaar no matter what we do, a woman will never appreciate it during her pregnancy" cried Ali who entered the house with Nanu, Nani, Hetal, ALiya and Riya. "Areh Meena and Harish please come in. Come in Hetal beta. And my Aliya you know you don't need an invitation to come in" cried Bebe. They came in and everyone soon got settled in the living room.  "So harsish and meena, how is it like being back in india?" asked Bebe. "It's great to be in our motherland. Feels like we never left the place" said Nanu. "I agree, living in New York is great but sometimes its good to be back with our roots " said Nani. Everyone nodded as Bhima brought in ice cream and was about to hand one to Avni until Neil stopped her. "Bhima di no ice cream for Avni" said Neil. "Same goes for Riya" said Ali. Avni and Riya pouted. "Areh puttars, let them eat the ice cream. What can go wrong with it?" asked Bebe. "Bebe doctor advised our wives to not eat too much sugar or their blood sugar will go high" said ALi. "But it's ok sometimes" said Shweta. Ali and Neil nodded no being firm on their decision. Neil then got a call from the police station and left the room while Ali went to go grab his phone from the car. As soon as they left, Nanu shared a michevious look with Riya and Avni and gave them the boy's ice cream. "Now finish it before your husbands come" he said childishly. Everyone laughed as Riya and Avni went to eat the ice cream. They finished it before the boys came and shared a secretive look. Neil came to the living room and saw his bowl empty. "Where is my ice cream?" asked Neil. No one answered as they all shrugged their shoulders. Ali came and asked the same thing but got the same response. Neil looked at Ali and then they both looked at their wives who had ice cream on the corner of their lips. "Riya..". "Avni...". "Why did you both eat the ice cream?" asked Neil. "What makes you think that?" asked Avni. "You and Riya have ice cream on both the corners of your lips". Everyone laughed at this as the boys cleaned their wive's mouth. They then went to sleep as the next day Neil had to leave. At the airport, everyone was giving tearful goodbyes. "Neil take of care of yourself ok. I don't want you to be hurt" cried Avni. "Same goes for you my lady hitler" said Neil as he hugged her and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

A few days passed on since Neil left. Avni did miss him immensely but knew she had to do it. One day she was in the living room when DD came. "DD come in" she said happily. DD smiled back and came inside. He gathered the khanna family and made an important announcement. "I want to tell you something important. It's about..."
