Your P.O.V

"Dad?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BODY GUARDS!?!?"
"YOU AND AARON ARE GOING TO HAVE BODY GUARDS WHEN YOU GO TO COLLAGE!"
"WHY?!?!"
"BECAUSE BOTH OF YOU CAN NOT CONTROL YOURSELVES!!"
"WELL MAYBE WE NEED SOMEONE TO CALM US!!"
"YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU WANT!"
"YES I DO!! BOTH OF US WANT SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY CARES FOR US"
"NO YOU DON'T!"
".......what do you know about us...."
"I know you guys don't need this! Gene is the reason your eyes show! Imagine that you could have hurt him! Or worse!"
I started to cry. The thought of Gene getting hurt because of me is horrible. And what I did to Zenix...he is going through pain because of me. I should check on him...
"I know you want to see your friend. The one you bit....."
"I...do. He is one my best friends. Along with Sasha. I wonder how he is. Can I please check on him?"
"Yes BUT I must put one body guard on you. To make sure that Gene boy doesn't turn you."
"NO YOU ARE NOT. *sigh* Gene is the most kindest boy I know. I know he would never--"
"No he isn't! I know his background! He bully's people! He hurts others! He vandalizes! He blackmails!"
"He is willing to change for me! MOM CHANGED FOR YOU!!!"
"......."
"Yeah...I'm going WITHOUT guards!" I walked out of the room before he could speak.

The Hospital

I walked in his room to see him groaning on the bed. Sasha was on the chair holding his hand. Gene was looking out the window. I put my mask on just to be safe.
"H.....Hey guys....."
Sasha looked at me and smiled, "I'm glad your here Y/n.........."
"Y.....Y/n...is that...y....you?" Zenix was grunting.
"I'm so sorry for what I did to you. I didn't mean to hurt you....I *sniff* never wanted to...."
Gene turned to me and hugged me.
"It's not your--"
"Stop saying that......it...is...I was the one who couldn't control it. I appreciate you guys saying that but I should take care of myself."
The room was silent except for Zenix.
"I know you guys want me to feel good but how can I feel like this when I know I could have killed one of you guys."
"Y/n......d...don't feel.....bad...I should have....been careful...I'm sure I'm....going to be *grunts* fine...."
Zenix said sitting.
"Sasha....Gene please leave the room...."
"Ok..let's go Gene.." Sasha grabbed Gene by force and left the room. I sat down on the bed and looked at Zenix. I took of my mask.
"Are my eyes red?"
"Y-yes.."
" *sighs* I don't know what to do Zenix....my dad is planning on putting body guards on me and Aaron. That would mean me and Gene will never see each other again! I don't want that to happen!!" I started to cry. I felt Zenix hug me.
"Ehh! Zenix you should be laying down!"
"No...I'm fine actually....now please don't let your father be the one who keeps you guys apart."
"But school is almost over. Just 6 more months and then my dad is going to sent me and Aaron away to Falcon Claw University."
"Then I'll tell Gene to go there for college. Heheh"
"You'd....really do that?"
"Of course. Even though your dad sent you away I'm making sure you guys are close."
"Heh thanks Zenix. I needed this talk."
"No problem. And before you leave."
Zenix's little wolf ears came out.
"What?! When did they come in?"
"Heh just this morning. They look puny. I thought they would be like your size."
"No that's just a stage. Just wait longer and your ears would look normal!"
"Heh I'm hungry. Can you go buy me a Hershey bar please?"
"Really Zenix...."
"What? What's wrong with a little choco--Oh right. Damn it."
"Hehehe remember that now you are a werewolf you might lose things you could do as a human but you do gain a lot as a werewolf."
"Ugh! Anyway I need a nap. Close the door when you leave. And tell the others that I'm fine and sleeping. Okay?"
"Yep. See you soon Zen." I put my mask on and leave the room.
"Is Zenix gonna be okay?" Sasha asked.
I smiled, "He is gonna be fine."
Gene hugged me
"I uh...over heard your conversation..."
My smile faded.
"G-Gene I..."
"Let's talk about it at your house."
"Okay."

At your house

"So let's go to your room--"
"WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?!" It was my dad in with his werewolf ears and tail.
"Ah Mr. Lucan how have--"
"Don't speak to me! You aren't allowed here! Y/n why is he here!? Do you really want to harm him?!?!?"
"Oh course not! He is everything to me! He makes me stronger. RING A BELL DAD?!?!"
"THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO BETWEEN ME AND YOUR MOTHER!"
"IT DOES!! DAD HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ME AND AARON NEED SOMEONE TO MAKE ISE STRONGER?! AARON HAS APHMAU AD I HAVE GENE!!"
"........I....I.."
"Let us be free dad. Come on Gene let's go to my room." I drag Gene to my room.
"What's going to happen to...us?"
"Nothing. I hope nothing."
I hold Gene.
"Gene..."
"Yes?"
"Hehe I'm surprised you haven't asked me to be your girlfriend...."
"Oh! Uh hehe I uh wanted to ask you that at p-prom...."
"Oh..hehehe..I'll just act surprised...."
"Heh..thanks.....Puppy."
"No problem Kitty...."
