Back story:

He was born to parents that are descendants of the original normadic group that had yet to discover the group of magic users. He is at the bottom of the caste system despite living in an area that is predominately full of no magic users. His area that he grew up in is basically seen as a ghetto. His family was always struggling, and this is why he has become a jack of all trades; he needed to make money anyway he could. For that reason, Zura travels around a lot. Very early on in his travelling he met Jenna while she was still in service once, but he completely forgot about the occurance as did she.
