"Hello Sir, I am Park Jimin, a new employee from the marketing department." Jimin said nervously but tried not to stutter.

The man turned towards him, turning his revolving chair around. He was beyond handsome, Jimin couldn't guess his actual age. He looked slightly aged but again his looks and style is making Jimin feel in another way.

The men gestured to him to sit down.

"Park Jimin." The man smiled at Jimin while checking him out from head to toe.

"Welcome to this company, Mr. Park. I am Lee Jehoon, C.E.O of this company and your boss also."

"Nice to meet you sir." Jimin did handshakes with him.

"Same here. So first I want to tell you that my office is like an extended family. So make yourself at home and be a proud member of our team." Mr. Lee smiled at him again. "Gladly sir," he replied.

Jimin didn't know why he was feeling uneasy in front of this man.

"Do you like music?" Mr. Lee asked suddenly.

"Sir?"

"Music, movies , travelling..Do you like these?"

Jimin didn't know what to answer. Why is his boss asking him these questions in an office interview? He didn't know. But he answered "Not at all.."

Really Jimin doesn't like these things nowadays. He always misses Taehyung. He stopped living a normal life two years ago. Now he only wants to focus on his main goal..

"Why are you being nervous? Don't we need creativity and entertainment in our life?"

"Yeahh." Jimin agreed and looked at his boss who was already looking at him.

"Don't take life so seriously. Be happy, always."

Jimin felt different. No one had said this to him except Taehyung before.

"All the best" Mr. Lee greeted and Jimin slightly smiled saying "Thank you" and left the room. Lee Jehoon picked at the new employee from behind his computer screen.

"How was that?" Kook asked excitedly after Jimin came out of his boss's room.

"Kook, I wanna ask you something.."

"Ask."

"Has he asked you kind of personal questions to you also?"

"You mean?"

"Uhmm..I mean 'Do you like music, travelling' e.t.c"

"No way. Why would he? Wait wait. Did he ask you those?"

"Yes. That's why I am feeling awkward." Jimin told Kook.

"Maybe he was hitting on you.."

"Shut up." Jimin spat back and concentrated on his own work.

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫

Jimin has been working at this new office for almost a week. He is doing good, he guesses. He has made some friends in this office other than Kook. He has caught his boss secretly looking at him so many times. It only made Jimin smirk.

Kook could notice the certain change in his best friend's behaviour and attitude. Jimin is not always sad nowadays. It seems like he was planning something in his mind throughout the whole time. Though he still talks in his own mind looking at his phone.

But Kook is mature enough to notice that Jimin is trying to seduce their boss, Lee Jehoon. Maybe he wants promotions and by impressing his boss he will snach that opportunity, or maybe he really moved on from Taehyung. He forgot Taehyung...

Kook doesn't know if he should be happy for his best friend or not. On one hand it's good for Jimin to move on from Taehyung, because probably he is not alive. But on the other hand Kook can't help but be slightly sad about the fact how Jimin forgot Taehyung in a span of weeks? Was it that easy? Then why couldn't he forget Taehyung for the last two years?

Kook has asked Jimin about this once. But since that day Jimin started ignoring his questions. Kook can't believe that the boy with whom he has been best friends for the last ten years, is ignoring him for certain reasons.

Jimin is doing his tasks at his desk. Suddenly Jehoon called him in his office.

"Coming Sir".

Jimin quickly took out a perfume from his bag and wore it. The smell of the perfume is hella attractive. It works like a drug to other people. Jimin knows that very well. He put on his strawberry lip balm secretly, so that no one could see him and then went to his boss's office.

Little did he know Kook was noticing all the things he was doing. Kook sighed. Sure Jimin is trying to seduce Jehoon. His Jimin has changed. He doesn't know if he should support his best friend or not.

Jehoon is not a bad guy. He behaves too well with his employees.He is a great boss. But it's quite noticeable that he is extra affectionate towards Jimin. Why? Kook is not aware of that. Maybe Jehoon likes Jimin and Jimin also likes him back. It's absolutely good for both of them. But for some reason Kook can't take this thing nicely in his mind.

Every time he tries to think of Jimin and Jehoon in a relationship, a blurred picture of Taehyung comes into his vision. Kook doesn't know how Jimin managed to forget Taehyung when he himself can't forget him. He really doesn't know.
