As she looked at the clouds floating outside the plane's window, thinking how her life has taken a sudden U-turn. She was heading back to the place which she left years ago yet she wasn't fully prepared to face the fact that it was happening. All she wishes was to wake up and find it all a bad dream. She wondered if it was the universe playing with her by taking her back to where it was all ended a decade ago.
"Ma'am, please fasten your seat belt. We are going to land in the next ten minutes." Her chain of thoughts was disturbed by the air hostess who had politely addressed her. She heaved a sigh of disappointment and fixed her seat belt.

"Hello, Sir." He picked up the telecom within its third ring.
"Sir Mr Dixit wants to conduct a meeting in an hour."
"But you know I have to go to receive my guests."
"I know Sir. But he has requested to reschedule it for today as he has to anyhow leave for Europe by tomorrow morning. And he is not sure when will he return."
"Okay then inform everyone to gather in the conference room in fifteen minutes."
"Okay, Sir."
He hung up the call and slumped on his chair frustrated. He was eagerly waiting for today and to meet the one who was coming. After all who isn't excited to meet the only person who rules on their heart. The guest he referred to was his fiancee
And he was going to meet her almost after a year. He wanted to go and receive her and her family from the airport but then decided to send the driver now and he would leave the office as soon as this meeting ends.
He opened his text box to message her when an unread message caught his attention. It was delivered to him a few minutes before.
After reading the text in the message he dialled the person immediately. His feet kept tapping the floor beneath it until the call was answered.
"Bro, can you do me a favour?" He spoke as soon as the call was answered.
"Anything for you bring it on." Was the response from the other side of the line.
"You are not going to receive your USA client at Airport then can you go with my driver to receive my guests. I am stuck in an urgent meeting and it wouldn't be a good impression of me if I only send a driver to receive her." He requested.
"Okay, I will go you don't worry and crack the deal okay. All the best."
"Thank you so much, and yeah I will send you the picture of her. And my driver will be reaching your office to pick you in ten minutes."
"Cool."
He disconnected the call and instructed the driver and then got busy preparing for the presentation which he had to put up within an hour.

Walking around the airport, she looked around and everything which had been left behind years ago was again in front of her. The memories she never cherished was back again but not just as a memory but as a reality. How she wished at that moment that she could go back to where she was before from the airport itself.
"Are you fine? Are you not happy? Tell me is it because of this decision? Because you don't look happy." The woman she walked with asked her with concern in her voice. She was the only one who had been with her throughout the dreadful journey she had begun a decade ago. She knew that her niece walking beside her was carrying herself so bravely outside but is shattered from inside.
"Don't worry about me. I will be fine and Massi I need time because it is not easy for me also." She blinked at her blinking back the tears which were ready to fall any moment.
The duo walked to the luggage counter to take their luggage in silence when she received a video call which she picked it up instantly.
"Hey,"
"Hello, we have landed and have you reached?" She spoke with a fake smile and excitement.
"I am so sorry dear I can't come to receive you at the airport, I am stuck in a meeting and it is an important one so can't just dodge it." The caller spoke.
"Mayank you could have at least texted me, I would have not cancelled the pick up from my client. He was coming to pick me and Masi but I denied as you were supposed to." She almost shouted.
"Cool down Ishqi! I said I am not coming but I have sent the driver and also my best friend is with him." Mayank explained to her and the stress lines which had formed on her face vanished.
"I am sorry Mayank I overreacted." Ishqi apologizes.
"No worries, I will meet you directly at home and I am sorry I couldn't make it to the airport," Mayank said.
"Our luggage is on the counter so need to go. Meet you soon bye." After bidding him bye Ishqi with her Aunt went to collect the luggage.
After collecting the luggage Ishqi and her Massi walked out of the airport exit. She pulled out her phone and dialled Mayank but the line was coming engaged.
After waiting for almost fifteen minutes and dialling him more than seven times she decided to book a cab or Taxi. She walked to one of the taxi drivers calling out for passengers.
After explaining the address and bargaining for almost five minutes she decided to go with it. She walked back to Massi and helped her to bring the luggage to the cab.
"Massi my blue bag," Ishqi asked when she found her bag missing.
"It was with the luggage only. Wait let me check." Massi checked the bags.
"I will see if it is left on the food counter where we had a sandwich. And also I have texted Mayank that we got the cab so we will go in it." She ran to search for her bag. After all, it was an important one. It had all her documents and also things which she never keeps away from herself.

"Hello, Mayank now mail me the picture of the guest, I am at the airport."
"Yeah-" The driver abruptly stopped the car and the phone slipped from his hand.
"Ma'am, it's a highway, at least don't run in between it is dangerous." The driver of the car shouted.
"I am extremely sorry." Was her response and she hurriedly ran in the other direction.
He couldn't see who it was as he had bent to pick up his phone but when he heard her voice he was stiffened. For him, the world was suddenly stopped. His heartbeats had raised the moment he heard that voice. How can he forget that voice? Was it her? was the only thing that kept running in mind.
"Hello...Ahaan..... Hello, what happened?"
The voice of the caller brought him out of his trance,
"Yeah." He spoke picking the phone.
"Some girl came in front of the car anyways you send me the picture I will welcome your guest." He informed.
"No need for it now. They have booked the cab and almost have left till now. Sorry for the trouble." Mayank apologies.
"It's okay, I was anyways free today. So will meet you on Sunday." Ahaan notified.
"Yes, sure. Bye," They disconnected the call. Ahaan asked the driver to drive back to his office.

Ishqi found her bag on the table where they had sat. She grabbed it and came back to the cab after checking everything inside it and left for the guest house where they would stay for few days until they find a satisfying house for themselves.
