I scrambled back and Captain Snake walked in with that snake-like grin of his.

"Betcha now that I wasn't who you were expecting?" he said venomously, proceeding with a laugh that sounded like hiss almose

"Kesesesesese*..." He said while unchaining me from the wall.

I knew that he would try to escape with me.

I also knew that if I struggled, he could either A) easily overpower me and punish me later or B) throw me overboard and let me drown.

I didn't move as he picked me up and carried me to the deck.

It was so violent and frantic.

Captain Snake used his Snake-Snake powers to worm throught the crowds. I saw Chopper charging this way.

I opened my mouth to warn him, but not before Captain Snake used his fangs to bite Chopper and poison him.

I saw him deteriorating so very swiftly and I had to choke back my tears. I saw him fall to the ground and clutch his arm, where Captain Snake bit him. He got smaller and smaller as I was being dragged toward one of the smaller rowboats on the side of the ship. On the bright side, Captain wouldn't be able to harm anyone else for at least a day.

He only had enough poison for one bite each day.

"Get in the boat and start rowing when we hit the water." He said forcefully. I couldn't fight him. I was completely useless. I was at the mercy of luck. I began to cry as I sat in the boat and took up the oars.

"NOBARA!" I heard Sanji's voice yell over the crowd. He looked strained, angry and concerned. Captain Snake looked back and grimaced.

"You will wait here. If you move... well, let's just wait and see." He said while smiling. I shivered and felt tears well up in my eyes as I looked over at Sanji.

Captain Snake slithered over to Sanji and wrapped his "snake tail" around Sanji's waist and thrust him into the air. I felt the world move in slow motion as he fell back down, a trail of smoke coming from his cigarette drifting and flattening against the sky. Captain Snake wrapped his scaly "tail" around Sanji's waist mid-air and smashed it against the deck, knocking Sanji unconscious.

"SANJI!" I yelled in unison with Luffy and Zolo. Nami and Robin were trying to help chopper and Robin was using her many arms to take down Captain Snake's crew.

"Sanji..." I whispered to myself. I felt something inside me snap I stood up and walked over. I was always told that my devilfruit ability would only work on land, but I thought that now was as good a time as any to test out my abilities.

"Plant-plant..." I whispered to myself. I felt the familiar sensation of something growing up and out of the ground. It was probably seaweed.

"GROWTH!!!!" I yelled as a long string of seaweed emerged from the ocean and lunged itself at Captain Snake. I felt it wrap around his limbs. I looked at the terified expression on his face as it carried him toward the ocean where it would drown him.

"PLEASE! HAVE MERCY ON ME!" He yelled in horror as he began to cry. I looked at him and I grit my teeth.

"Have... Mercy?" I said softly. I brought him closer to me.

"Have... MERCY?!" I spat in his face.

"DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WHAT YOU DID TO ME? DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WHAT YOU'VE BEEN THREATENING TO DO TO ME?! YOU THREATENED TO RAPE ME! YOU KILLED MY PARENTS AND BURNED MY VILLAGE. DO YOU REALIZE THE PAIN THAT YOU HAVE PUT ME THROUGH?" I yelled at him and felt tears well up in my eyes.

"DO YOU REMEMBER THE WAY YOU MADE MY PARENTS FALL ONTO THEIR KNEES AND BEG FOR MERCY BEFORE CHOKING THEM TO DEATH IN FRONT OF ME! YOU BURNT MY FRIENDS WHILE THEY WERE IN THEIR HOMES! YOU... you..." I fell onto my knees.

"You ruined me..." I said. I took in a shaky breath and looked him in the eye.

"And that is why," I saw his face loose hope and tears stream down the sides of the face that haunted my nightmares.

"I will let you go."
