Sanyukta a beautiful girl is working in her cubicle. She's working in the City's most popular company "FITSOM Telecommunications" as an Associate Manager.

She was busy sipping her coffee as it was 4 in the noon and almost one hour for her to wrap up and leave for her home. She was happy about the fact that her work had finished early with no new meetings lined up for the rest of the day and she was kinda proud of it. It's not every day that she gets to take a break like this when the workload is always hectic.

That's when her phone rang. Ahh!!!  A perfect moment had just be ruined. She cursed as she reached out to grab her phone and curse her friend Kausutuki if she was again to start her shopping rampage with her. The girl was about to get married to Gujju Boy, Jignesh and her overbearing In-Laws were already taking a toll on her peace of mind. And in return, to ease out her frustration, Kaustuki always proposed shopping rampage. And her ultimate target was Sanyukta.

It's not that Sanyukta liked Shopping. But she also didn't hate it too, so she always agreed to tag along. But today was not going to be the day. That she was sure of.

As she opened her eyes, she was surprised that It was her Mom who was calling. 

She could imagine her anger rising if she didn't pick the call quickly, so without any further delay, she picked the call hurriedly, not to anger her Mom any further. "Ya Maa. What's up?"

"Are you free now??" came the urgent question.

"Yes Mom, I just finished my work. Why are you asking??"

"Uhh, it's nothing...It's a relief that you are done with your work. Now you just come home soon. There's some emergency and you are required here."

"Yes. But what happened. Can you please tell me what exactly is going on?"

"It's nothing. You just come home ASAP"

"Okay fine I'm coming, I'm leaving". And she cut the call, as she gathered her belongings and rushed out of the office, her coffee long forgotten.

Sanyukta started her car and started for her home. Within the next 20 minutes, she reached home and rang the doorbell. Anju opened the door. To her surprise, she found her Mom all dressed up, and she immediately smelt something was wrong.

"Ohh you are here. Come with me fast, Come on quick"

"But where, and mind telling me why are you so dolled up?" she fired her question impatiently, suspicious of her Moms sudden change of behavior.

"Because the groom's side are coming to see you. And for that, you have to get ready as well."

"What ?? You can't be serious, the groom's side is coming to see me and you are telling me this now!" Now this came as a heart attack to Sanyukta. Not that she didn't want to get married. But the sudden news did shock her to the core. And she went to her room. Or to be precise was dragged by her Maa.

"You have only 20 minutes. So get ready and come fast!!

Sanyukta just nodded hurriedly. After a good 30 minutes, she came out wearing a beautiful yellow Anarkali dress with white duppatta. (Image in the media box)

"Ohh my God. You are looking so beautiful. No one should cast a bad gaze over you." And she put a Nazar ka tikka below her left ear. Sanyukta just smiled. Kishore Aggarwal who was witnessing the whole scenario just walked up to his daughter and lovingly placed a hand on his daughter's head and chuckled with tears in his eyes. Just then the bell rang and everyone got alerted.

Kishore went to open the door whereas Ajnu went to the kitchen to look after the breakfast arrangements.

Kishore: Aaiye aaiye Shekhawat ji Namaste!! (Plz Come Mr Shekhawat)

"Ji Namaste!!! (Hello..!!)"

"Hello..!!" Renuka, the boy's mother exclaimed.

"Hello! Plzz come on in!! Ohh Son, You also come in. What's your name I just forgot.

"It's Randhir"

"Ohh okay plz have a seat. Anju come here."

Here Anju had silently disappeared to Sanyukta's room and was instructing her the ways in which she has to present herself outside as this was the first time someone had come to see her for Marriage. And she didn't want to create a negative impression on the guests. She could see the groom would be perfect for her Daughter.

"Ohh Mother. I didn't even do this much preparation for my interview You know."

"This is not your interview. It's for your Marriage that you need this preparation. It's more difficult and important than any interview. Okay, now I'm going outside. The moment I call you you come out with this Tray. Okay?? Understood??"

Sanyukta just nodded.

Kishore and Anju interacted with Harsh and Renuka and Randhir just hummed in response whenever he was asked something. Kishore sensed that Randhir was getting bored so he nudged Anju to call Sanyukta. Anju understood the situation too and got up to bring Sanyukta.

"Come now. They are ready to see how beautiful their would-be daughter in law is.!!"

Sanyukta rolled her eyes. "Maa, I'm yet to meet them, Why do you think they will accept me as their daughter in law right away??"

"Because you are beautiful. And I can imagine you become a part of their family."

"Huh. As if. That's no reason to spend your entire life with someone who's a complete stranger."

"Whatever. Don't argue. Come now. Let's go."

Sanyukta grumbled and mumbled some incoherent curses under her breath as she walked out of her room. But as she made her way into the living room, she just froze on the spot seeing who the prospective groom in front of her.

To say that she was about to get a heart attack would be an understatement. Her heart stopped for a brief moment as she stood dumbstruck and her hand traveled to her mouth, covering her shock.

"Sir, Aap??" She exclaimed, bewildered.
