I'm back!😋

Kanan's pov

We later ate dinner, though Ezra remained silent. He hasn't talked much due to the weird feeling of being back home again. Eventually the night came to a close and I took Ezra to bed. He snuggled up into my side. "Dad?" I heard a quiet whisper and smiled "Yes?" "Will I be okay?" "Ezra, you'll be fine. Everything's going to go back to normal soon. Just give it some time, okay?" "Okay, night dad." I pulled him closer and rested my head on his. "Night son." We soon fell asleep in peaceful dreams, at least I did. I was awaken by a chilling scream coming from Ezra. I immediately gently shook him awake as he fought back. "Dad help me!" "Ezra wake up, I'm right here!" He kept fighting back against my grip until his sapphire eyes shot open, those beautiful sapphire eyes soon were filled with tears. He clinged to my arm and kept a tight grip. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." "Ezra, it's okay it was just a nightmare." He continued to shake so I rubbed circles on his back in hope of calming him down. "Wanna talk about it." "I killed you." he mumbled sadly. "Ezra you would never, I trust you with my life." He looked up at me and wiped away the tears. "Really." I smiled "Yes really, now go back to sleep. I'll be right here if you get scared." He yawned, closed his eyes, went back to sleep as I did too. I awoke in the morning with Ezra still sleeping next to me and decided to go get coffee. Carefully I picked him up and laid him down on the bed. I quietly made my way into the kitchen only to hear somebody already up. Who ever it was, it sounds like there crying. I walked into the room to find Hera sitting on one of the bar stools, her face buried in her hands and the phone seemed to have been thrown at the wall. Surprised nobody heard that. "Hera what's wrong?" She didn't look over to me which is extremely concerning, I placed a hand on her shoulder. "Hera?" She finally looked up at me "Hera what's going on?" Tears slide down her cheeks. "The doctor called back with Ezra's blood draw results..."

*Evil laughter* SUCKERS!!!!😂
