She is with me every step I take
I carry her around in my palm
Show her every part of my life

She's the first to inspect new grounds
Checking for traps under the pavement
Reading the signposts again and again

She holds me in place when she wants to
Like the hand of a skeleton clinging to me
Cruel thoughts that freeze my soul

She rules from the pedestal I put her on
Deciding in favor of her growing kingdom
She's established inside my own mind

She fights every uprising like it's nothing
Never giving up an inch of her land
Consuming more and more space and energy

She's so hungry for power that she can't see
In the name of protection she's slowly killing me
Shouldn't this be her greatest fear?
