"Hey bastard."

"What do you want Rey?"

"Aw no hello? Or how are you doing? I thought we were friends."

"Friends? You call me bastard."

"Cause it's what you are."

"Can you just tell me why you're here? At my apartment in the early morning? How do you even know where I live?"

"Have you forgotten that I'm good friends with your mother?"

"Nevermind, just tell me why you're here. I'm not even dressed!"

"You said I could see your paintings."

"I know but I didn't mean early the next day!"

"Sorry, but I just wanted proof that you do more than sulk around with your equally bastard friends. You can't deny the truth Benjamin."

"What did I say about — you know what? Forget it. Just come in."

Rey smirked before walking inside. Ben closed the door behind her. He beckoned her forward to a hallway, along the walls hung several paintings. Most were abstract, angry splatters of red and black paint covering a canvas. Others were simple nature paintings, a single leaf or flower painted extreme carefully with watercolor, and lastly near the end of the hallway hung 3 simple portraits. Ben stepped back as soon as Rey moved closer.

They were of her.

The first one was when she had first saw him. Her face was scrunched up in irritation and her eyes were narrowed. The next one was of her at Ben's disaster date, a piece of hair hung loosely in front of her eye and her face stern. The last one was of her at the Cafe once again, her cheeks rosy, smile wide, and powdered sugar dusted across her face.

"Ben...?"

Rey turned around and he avoided her gaze.

"You made these?'

A/N: omfg I haven't updated my stories in forever! I'm so sorry! School started and I've been really busy but good news: I've been working on a Mystery Reylo AU as well as a Vampire AU so I might publish those after I complete some of my current books. Anyway I hope you liked this chapter <3
