He woke up the next morning thinking of her. The whole situation was embarrassing. Sure he had his fair share of girlfriends but for some twisted reason he was thinking of the one girl who told him off.

Nothing says I love you like the word bastard. His thoughts were interrupted by a loud knock on the door. He assumed his parents would get it but he soon found out they had left to go somewhere early that morning.

The knocking got louder and reluctantly he rolled out of bed and headed downstairs. He swung open the door to an irritated Rey.

"What the hell took you so long Ren?"

"I go by Ben now."

"I don't believe you."

"That's your problem not mine."

"Whatever — where are your parents?"

"They're not home right now."

"Oh okay I should go then. I don't want to see your bastard self any longer."

"Wait."

"What is it bastard?"

Ben froze, he didn't know exactly what to say.

"Aw cat got your tongue?"

"N-No!" Ben stammered. "I just wanted to know why you want my parents." He shrugged trying to play it cool.

"Leia wanted me for something, she told me to come here at 9:30. It is 9:34 but I arrived here at 9:30."

"Oh, you know they left like an hour ago right?"

"Well I didn't till now. I should get going. I'll just ask Leia about it tomorrow. See you around Solo."

Rey saluted him in goodbye and walked away.

Ben realized he was done for.

The rest of the day was pretty peaceful and quiet until he got a text from a certain someone.

Lindsay: Hey Ben! I heard you were back in town, let's catch up! Can't wait to see you <3

He sighed and glanced at the text for a couple more minutes. Finally he responded.

Sure, how about Deathstar Cafe at 1?

Her reply came in a matter of moments.

Yeah sounds great! Can't wait to see you <3
