Nicole's POV

It's Saturday, and Dylan had to go to work, so I stayed home with the kids. 

After I woke them up and we were eating breakfast, I asked, "Do you want to see Daddy at work today?"

"Yes, yes, yes!" Derek exclaimed and jumped out of his seat.

"Will we see Uncle Tyler too?" Sofia asked and her face lit up.

Yes, Tyler Posey was their uncle. Since Dylan and him are really close friends, we asked Tyler if he wanted to be their uncle and he was super excited and said yes.

"Of course we will! Are you excited?" I asked and started to wash the dishes.

"I can't wait to see Daddy acting!" Derek said and jumped up and down.

"But, he doesn't know that we are going, so it's going to be a surprise," I said. I knew it would make Dylan really happy seeing Derek and Sofia.

"Let's get ready so we can leave early," I said and helped Sofia get out of her chair.

I picked her up and walked upstairs with Derek by my side.

I put down Sofia in her room and said, "I'll be right back, I'm just going to help Derek for a second, okay?"

She nodded and walked towards her toys and started to play with them.

I walked to Derek's room and asked, "What would you like to wear?"

"Hmmmm," he said and looked so focused. I smiled and suggested, "Why don't you wear this?" I asked and pulled out a hanger with a button-up green plaid shirt on it.

His face lit up and said, "Yes!" And took the hanger. I kissed the top of his head and walked back into Sofia's room.

"What would you like to wear sweetie?" I asked and sat down next to where she was sitting with her toys. She turned towards me and shrugged her shoulders.

I stood up and opened her closet. "How about this?" I asked and held up a sundress with sunflowers on it.

She nodded and I helped her put it on. I then combed her hair and put yellow clips in her hair that matched her dress.

She looked adorable. I picked her up and went into Derek's room. "Ready kiddo?" I asked.

"Can you help me with my hair?" He asked and handed me a comb.

"Sure!" I replied and put Sofia down. I got some gel from the bathroom and went back into his room. I spiked up his hair with the comb and applied the gel so it would stay.

"You're all set!" I said and he looked in the mirror.

A huge smile appeared on his face and we went downstairs. I helped them get into their car seats and we drove to the set.

This would be a complete surprise and I was excited to see Dylan's reaction. 

Once we arrived, I unbuckled Sofia and Derek and quietly walked onto the set. 

When we entered, I looked over at Sofia and Derek and they looked amazed. 

I bent down and whispered, "Do you see Daddy's set chair?" I pointed to his chair and they nodded quickly. "Go sit in it," I said and they ran over to it and sat in it. I walked over to them and stood behind his chair. 

Then I heard Jeff Davis yell into a microphone, "Cut! That's a wrap." Then I heard cheering and clapping. He continued, "You can take a break!"

I leaned over and whispered, "Ready?" They bounced in his seat in response and then they saw him. 

"DADDY!" they both yelled and ran towards him. 

"Oh my gosh! What are you two doing here!" He asked as a huge smile spread across his face and pulled Sofia and Derek into a hug.   

"Mommy said it was going to be a surprise!" Derek said while clapping. 

Dylan stood up and said, "Do you want to see Uncle Tyler?"

"Yes! Yes!" Sofia said and jumped up and down. 

Then Tyler came around the corner and a surprised look came across his face and he said, "Hey kiddos! What's up!"

They ran into his arms and he said, "Do you want to see the set?" 

"That would be AWESOME!" Derek yelled. 

Tyler laughed and said, "Follow me!" 

Then they were out of sight and Dylan and I walked towards each other. 

"Thank you..." Dylan said and his eyes watered. 

"You're welcome, Dyl. Everything okay?" I asked and rubbed my hands up and down his arms. 

"Yeah, its just been a hard day at work and seeing them and you...you all made my day easier..."

My eyes started to water too and we both laughed nervously. I then wrapped my arms around his neck and crashed my lips into his. His hands moved up and down my back and I lifted my legs and wrapped them around his waist. 

I pulled away and said, "I've missed you, even if its been less than a day, I can't stand it when I don't see you..." One last tear fell and we continued to kiss. 

"I...love you...Dylan," I said in-between kisses. 

Then I heard from behind me, "Can I be held too, Daddy?" 

I pulled away and looked over my shoulder; it was Sofia. Dylan and I both laughed and he gently put me down. 

"Come here," Dylan said and gestured for her to come to him. She ran into his arms and he lifted her onto his shoulders. Then Tyler came back with Derek on his shoulders. 

"Dylan..." Tyler said and laughed. 

"T.Pose..." Dylan said and joined in on the laughter. 

Then Jeff Davis came in and said, "Aww, this is too cute. I hate to break this up, but we need to film another scene. 

Dylan and Tyler put Derek and Sofia down, and then Jeff said, "But you can definitely stay to watch!" 

Their faces lit up and they looked extremely excited to see Dylan act. 

"Have fun, sweetie," I said and Dylan kissed my cheek. 

"I will because I know the people I love the most will be watching," he said and walked onto the set with Tyler. 

I held out my hands and Derek and Sofia quickly grabbed them and we walked to the set. I sat down in a chair behind the camera and Derek and Sofia both sat on my lap. 

Jeff said into the microphone, "Scene 3, take 1...ACTION!"

We all went home when Dylan was finished for the day and we decided to order a pizza for dinner. 

We then watched Finding Dory; Sofia insisted we watched it because it's her favorite movie. 

After that, Dylan and I tucked them into bed. 

I lifted up Sofia and put her in her bed and said, "Good night, sweetie. I love you," I kissed her forehead and backed away from her bed so Dylan could say goodnight as well. 

"Love you, princess. Sweet dreams," he said and kissed her forehead. We quietly left the room and went into Derek's. 

"Sweet dreams, Derek. See you in the morning," I said and kissed his forehead. 

"Tomorrow morning, we are going to the baseball park," Dylan said. 

"Yes! I can't wait!" Derek said with a smile. 

"Good night little monkey," Dylan said and tickled him. Derek laughed adorably, and Dylan kissed his forehead and we quietly left his room. 

In the hallway, Dylan pulled me into an embrace and whispered, "I love you, Nicole."

"I love you too, Dyl," I said and pulled away from the hug. 

We then got changed into our pajamas and got into our bed. 

My back was towards Dylan and he wrapped his arms around my waist, and kissed the back of my neck. 

"Good night, Nicole."

"Good night, Dylan."

I then turned around to face him and gave him a quick peck on his lips. 

"That's it?" Dylan said and made a pout face. 

I laughed and kissed him again. I rustled my hands through his hair and he moved his hands down my back. 

I pulled away and said, "Better?"

He nodded and said, "Better."

I then leaned my head on his chest and his arms were wrapped around me and he kissed the top of my head. 

I fell asleep in his embrace, and nothing could be better.
