Trapped in a room or in your heart?
You were hiding in the bushes with G, and it rained harder. You was breathing heavily as you were exhausted, for some reason. Like, really exhausted. At least you still got some food.
"Hey," He was wearing his hood as he stared at you. "Mind explainin' what happened back there?"
You didn't know how to explain it. It all happened too fast. Plus, you're too tired to even mutter a word out. So instead, you raised your hand, gesturing that you needed to breathe.
"Tired already?" G asks, trying to cover the fact that he's worried. You didn't answer as you tried to catch your breath.
He was confused that you were exhausted as him. Doing teleportation without intense concentration is energy draining, but he was used to it. You seem to be more exhausted than him though. He wanted to ask 'You okay?' instead of his rude question.
"Y-yeah...for some reason..." You sat down, leaning against a tree. You were slightly shivering from the cold, plus you were tired. G sighed as he took his jacket off. He caught you off guard as he gave you his jacket. You wanted to see his expression, but he was looking at the opposite direction.
Oh, if only you knew how 'yellow' his face is.
You gladly accepted it and wrapped it around your shoulders. "Hey, G."
"What?" He turned to you with his usual smug look on his face. Somehow, he managed to get his cool back.
You smiled. "Thanks."
He covered his mouth as he fake coughed. "Yeah, sure. We should head someplace warm."
"Uh, let's not teleport this time." You cleared your throat. "Kind of drained me, hehe..."
"Drained ya'?" He stared at you. "Why are you drained when you made me teleport out of nowhere? I should be the one tired, kitten."
You blinked. "Well, are you?"
"Hell yeah, I am. But you seem to be more tired than me--" G abruptly stopped. He almost forgot you can wield magic. Teleporting monsters can use up some of their magic, specially if the one teleporting them is not concentrating on their own magic. That causes the whole group to get drained. Humans don't have magic. "You can use magic, right?"
You didn't understand what the dramatic pause was about there earlier, but you didn't mind. "Yeah."
"That explains it..."
"Explains what?" You asked as you eyed him. G is acting weird, you thought. Well, he's already weird...but he's weirder than weird.
"Come on; you'll get sick at this rate." He huffed. You slightly blushed, well you thought you shouldn't. His concern keeps making your temperature go higher, honestly--"I don't want to carry you all the way." He says as he turns.
Well, that kind of disappointed you. You stood and walked past him, purposely bumping him on the way.
G sighed as he just stood there, staring at your figure as it gets smaller while you walked ahead. He followed you as you led the way, though you're not really sure where you're going. He took out a cig. He wasn't sure what to do with you. He just kinda planned to invite you to his humble abode and, well, he's lost there. But your abilities intrigued him, making him want you to stay.
Or is that really the only reason?
G's jacket was too big for you as your arms slip into its sleeves. You blushed at the thought of wearing a guy's jacket. You finally realized that you didn't know where you're heading and slowed your pace until G is walking beside you.
"Why slow down, tiger?" He smirks.
You coughed. "Lead the way."
"Oh? I thought ya' knew where we're going."
You kicked him. "Me too."
He chuckles as he leads the way. You stared at his back. His turtle neck was soaked and it highlighted his figure. You wanted to hold onto his follow-up sleeve like the ones you see in moviesmoviesand shows when you were little. But you thought that that kind of thing doesn't suit you as you thought G had always seen you as a fighter, not a lover.
Holy--Lover, Y/N? Ohoho, what you thinking, ey?
You blushed and shook your head at the thought.
{Timeskip cuz I already tried to make their walk romantic-}
Soon, you see an abandoned warehouse. What's an abandoned warehouse doing in the middle of the forest?
"We can stay here for a while. The rain ain't getting any calmer." G says as he approaches the building. You followed him from behind. He broke the rusty chains and padlock with his magic and opened the gigantic door. You went inside and found that it was totally empty except for scraps of metal and bronze. You looked around, fascinated at the place. Raindrops falling on the metal roof made a loud yet calming tone for you. It also had holes, letting a bit of light inside. You sat down on the ground and cuddled inside G's jacket. G saw you and blushed. He sat a few inches beside you and sighed.
Welp, there's no supplies today. Just a bunch of snacks.
You started getting sleepy as you felt cold. Gosh, you really need Asriel's fur right now. You let your eyes droop as you take a nap. G glanced at you and smiles. A bit of drops of rain were still on your face as depressing light landed on you, making your face sparkle a bit. Watching you made G sleepy, decided to sleep as well.
{Timeskip again cuz I'm rushing to finally publish this}
Your nap waa disturbed by footsteps. Like, hundreds of footsteps. This alarmed you and you shake G.
"What...?" He mumbles as he slowly wakes up.
"G, there's people." You whisper. He takes note of your alarmed tone and quickly stood. You did so too, and grabbed G by the arm to find some place to hide.
"Jeez, do we really have to do these checkpoint thingies?" A monster guard groans as you and G hides behind a fallen part of the roof.
"I mean, how can humans live in this bullsh¡t? And besides, we've already checked this place ages ago."
"Rene, you know how it is. Sergeant would kick our asses if we don't do this."
G can hear footsteps around the corner and pulls you close to him. Your back was touching his figure, he's still holding your hand, and you can feel his breath behind you as it slowly made some of your fallen hair sway. You blush. You cursed under your breath; you should be focusing on the people who might kill you right here and now, not think about romantic scenes!
"See. No one! Everyone's so paranoid, it's annoying."
"Check closely, jackass. Everyone's so paranoid cause damn humans might imprison us in that hell hole again."
"Why though? They don't have abilities, right?"
"Still doesn't change the fact that they've trapped us in the past. They can always do it again."
They're afraid of us...? You thought.
"Ugh, fine." You hear the footsteps come closer again. You think fast; how to distract them?
G's grip on your hand grew tighter. He can't use magic. They can easily detect it. And there's like, a hundred of them out there. Suddenly, he feels your whole body grow warmer and warmer by the second. He realized that you were using your magic. Monsters can easily detect another monster's magic, but you're not a monster...
You're a human.
You pulled a sneaky on them.
Your eyes started glowing neon purple as your magic drains you. The scraps of metal and other stuff started floating mid-air, frightening the monsters.
"What the fvck?! Show yourself!" all of them wield their weapons as they tried to find your location. The one close to you ran back to his colleagues.
"Sir, we can't detect where it's coming from!"
"Are you saying that this isn't the work of a monster?!"
You coughed as you covered your mouth. You couldn't fully use your magic as you felt sick and cold, so this was only a distraction.
The scraps, in one swift movement, all flew outside the warehouse. It hit some of the guards, and they all shout and growl. The guards inside the warehouse ran outside. Instinctively, G took you by the legs and ran across the warehouse, finding a small storage area. He opens the door and carefully puts you down. He used his own magic to block the door from the outside, as all noise suddenly muted.
You both realized that the room was too small for two people. You stood, not wanting to cram G. But in exchange, your bodies touched. Your arms rested on his chest, while his were at his sides. You both blush.
"Hehe...I-I guess we have to stay like this for a while..." you smile nervously. You can feel his chest rising up and down.
G averted his gaze as he blushed. He can feel your temperature, and it's making him worry. "It's fine, kitten..."
After a while, G couldn't detect monster magic anymore. He coughed as he looks down. At the same time, you look up. You two lock gazes and blushed harder.
"T-they left."
"Ah...okay..."
"Ya' okay to teleport?"
You nodded. And in a flash, you two disappeared.
You reappeared on the doorstep of the familiar cozy house. You quickly knocked on the door as you tried to regain your composure. Asriel opened the door and greeted you with a worried expression.
"Y/N!" he cried. He quickly pulled you inside and made you sit on the couch. "Frisk!"
"Coming!" the little human ran towards you with a thermometer and checked your temperature. "Y/N, you're hot!"
Ariel snorted and covered his mouth, slightly blushing.
Hey, he agrees though.
"You should go upstairs and rest." Asriel smiles at you. It made your heart flutter a familiar feeling.
Darn it, Y/N. Why you pretty.
"What about G?" G comes inside, his hands in his pockets. You meet eyes, and you both look away.
Asriel noticed this, and it made his stomach churn. "G doesn't get sick just by a little rain and magic."
You nodded. You stood, and with a lot of effort, you tried to go up the stairs.
"Y/N, be careful!" Frisk held your arm. You saw his expression full of worry. You can't help but grab your chest because of how touched you are. "Mr. G, you should carry Y/N upstairs." He frowns at G, making G raise both his arms as if in defeat.
"No, it's alright. G should rest." Asriel smiles and pats Frisk's head. Without warning, he took you by the legs, making you shriek a little. "Upsy daisy." You accidentally wrapped your arms around his neck, and it made him blush.
Frisk laughs, while you tried to signal G for help. He just grins and gives you a small teasing wave. Asriel started walking up the stairs with Frisk following behind until all of you disappeared out of sight.
G fell on the couch and sighs in exhaustion. He recalled the events earlier and covers his face in embarrassment. If he starts getting attached to you, his plan wouldn't work. Same goes for Asriel. He's already getting attached to Frisk.
And he's the most important part of the plan.
· · ·
Everything that happened today was supposed to be an accident, perhaps what you're feeling today with G is also an accident. But you don't know, you and Frisk is part of a plan to save the humans. Perhaps even the world.
