Sofia's POV

I ran my hands around the horse's neck. It felt hard but smooth.

"Where did you get him from?" I asked the stranger

"Um....from the stable" he said in a "duh" voice.

"You're so dreamy" I laid my shoulders on the horse, my face in the middle of my palms.

"I know, Sofia" he stared back, his eyes twinkled blue.

"Sofia? Sofia??" The name rang in my head. Wait! I'm Sofia.

"Sofia Hernandez!!!"

"Oh my God" I jerked my head backwards but it hit the headboard of my chair.

I heard laughter around me. I must have been sleeping or sleep talking?!.

"Could you remind me of what I just said?" Mr Long asked, his usual, scary frown on his face.

"That you're the best teacher in the world" I put on a fake grin.

It would have worked if not for the smile being over much.

"Later we both would see the principal and tell him for the fifth time I caught you snoozing in my class" he said and adjusted his big glasses. "and get out of my class".

I would have been so happy to hear those words if not detention wasn't before it. I walked to my locker dragging my steps as I went.

I checked my schedule and I grinned when I saw P.E was next. I'm an athletic person.

I let out a shriek when my locker was slammed closed. I looked up to see the person that did it and......

Carolyn August, age 18, brown haired, brown eyes, perfect hips and butt, with even perfect boobs and my second bestie.

"Where were you all morning?" I quirked an eyebrow.

"Getting my game on" she smirked.

Y'all know what she means by that right. 😉

I exhaled loudly "Who's it this time?"

"That's for me to know and you to find out" the smirk still lingered on her face as she pressed my nose as if it was a button.

"What are we having next?" She asked

"Um.....P.E" I said in a 'duh' tone "Don't you have a schedule?"

"Okay first of all, hooray for P.E" she shrieked "I brought my tightest and shortest short"

"Shortest short-"

She placed her index finger on my lips.

"Shush" she said "Second of all, Today is Friday, The three of us are having the same subjects today and either you or Zoe would have a schedule"

Yeah, she has a point.

Though three of them, Sofia, Zoe and Carolyn were friends, they both had different things they hated and liked. For example, Sofia and Zoe read, Carolyn depend on Nerds, Zoe hates P.E but Sofia and Carolyn do not. Sofia likes going on diets but the other two especially Carolyn eat like pigs. But she still maintains her shape because she regularly exercises unlike the other two

"Where's Zoe anyway?" She looked round

"Still in class" I shrugged

"Then why are you out here?"

"Tell yourself that" I gave her a bit-

You got to be kidding me

I gave her a bitter smile

"Yuck, work on your smile, that made me wanna gag" she acted to throw up

"Why did you think it's called a bitter smile?" I folded my arms around my chest.

"Fair enough" she shrugged.

"Sofia Hernandez!!!"

And that's her cue to....skidaddle

"Run" Carolyn whispered to me and I took off in the direction of the girls Toilet.

"Okay Class, Today we'll do what we always do. The fit ones over here and the less fit over there, the tall and big over here and the slim and short over there" Our P.E teacher, Mr Hank said

I was in the fit ones Category, thank God for my diet sessions. Sofia was in the fit Category also with at least sixteen others.

Unluckily for Zoe, she was in less fit zone, with some nerds and fat teens.

The tall and big, the three friends or the three Idiots, Shawn Calvert, Zachary Hickey, and Leroy Lewis were in their signature no sleeve shirt with the words "we're gonna crush you", written on it.

Then there was only one person in the short and slim category.

"Okay you, shorty over there-" he pointed to him.

The shorty was Franklin Benson. He was considered a weird, short but frightening guy. Rumor says that he street fights. And he's the only one who ever stood up to Shawn.

Unluckily he spent the remaining hours of school at the school nurse.

"Bounce outta here, your free today"

Franklin smirked, then proudly walked out of the gym.

"Less fit, give me thirty"

They looked among themselves, probably wondering what he meant.

I looked at Carolyn and she understood my signal. We mouthed the word "Press ups" to Zoe who understood Immediately.

She dropped down and started counting.

"She understands" he said "the remaining give me Forty JJ's"

They didn't understand that either

"I said give me forty Jumping Jacks, Godd-"

We all fake gasped, some girls giggling

He glared at us "I mean for God's sake". "For gasping you all do 20, now!!"

All of us sighed, that was a wrong mistake.

"Make it 30" He raised his eyebrows, a grin on his face.

I pulled up at Café ine, Parking my bike close to the door. School had closed an hour ago and I received a text from both the people hiring me for the Tutoring job and for the babysitting to meet up at Café ine

I walked to my regular table, and pulled out my laptop. I was writing a book and I just got new ideas.

A pretty aged blonde lady with a seven year old girl with chest nut hair sat at the chair in front of me.

"You must be Sofia" The lady said

"And you are?"

"I'm Mrs Harrison, this is my daughter, Betty Harrison" she said and the little girl passed me a smile "Your the baby sitter right?"

It clicked in my head "oh yeah, sorry it's been a busy day that I forgot"

"Oh, I get your pain" she smiled.

At Least she is nice.
