Hoshi peeked under her bed. "Can you tell me now?" North Star still hasn't told her why that crazed customer fought her. " No way! I didn't expect you to encounter them so early..." She stared under her bed. "You mean?"

"You're still not ready. You've just met me, I mean!"  The cat, ferociously shaking its scarf, leaped onto the bed. "Yeah, yeah. But I'm the one who's really confused here." Hoshi stared at the address she had gotten from the customer.

 "Do you know of this address?" She showed the paper to the being. "Nope. Sounds like a guy giving you his address. You do have the charm of the stars, after all!" "The what?" North Star circled around her. " You aren't ready yet." Hoshi, getting a bit frustrated, belted, "I'm not ready for everything! If you were my mom, I wouldn't be riding a bike until I was 18." 

"Hoshi? Who are you talking to?" Hana was waiting outside her door. "Oh, um... just Yuu. She, uh. knows stuff ahead in school and won't tell me." Hana waddled downstairs. "That's what older people do, scream at things they shouldn't!" Hoshi turned back to the cat. "Yuu? Yuu Who?" "Yoo hoo to you too." North Star, not touched by the joke, continued to ask, "No, what's your friend's last name?" Creeped out by the question, she responded, "Um, Kogane. Why?"

"That's my original target! She didn't die, or was stillborn?" "Target?" North Star brushed it off, as if to hide something. "Hoshi! Customer!" Her mother called. "Coming! Sorry, I have to go. We can talk later." She ran down the stairs, and dealt with the customer as fast as possible. 

"Back! Nothing crazy this time. Anyways-" "Hoshi, Yuu's here!" Hoshi slid North Star under the bed. "Don't creep her out." She quickly got dressed and cleaned her room before Yuu barged in.

"Hoshi! Has that poster always been there?"  Hoshi backed Yuu away from her bed and guided her to her desk. "Yes, it has. Anyways, wanna see my new encyclopedia?" "You're too full of informational books. Most collectors aren't obsessed like you are, Hoshi!" Hoshi waved her away. "Blah, blah, blah! At least I don't obsess over ostrich egg meals." Yuu, seemingly offended, waved her away. "Ostrich eggs are a delicacy best served over easy. No way else!"

"Now, who's older?" "By a month and a day! It's no fair that just because it's your room, I have to smell the new book stench!" She shook her head. "From age to book smell, can't you just focus for once?" Yuu took a random object and examined it. "Ooooooh, toothpaste, how boring!" 

The two giggled, and sat down in their seats. "What's new? Anything?" "N-nope. Not. At. All!" Hoshi stuttered, and laid down on her bed. "Interesting... I just hung a cork board in my room!" Hoshi played around with her pillow. "Cork board, huh? Pin this!" She handed Yuu a drawing of her. "How pretty!" "It was mixed in with my notes on Friday, so I forgot it." Yuu hugged the paper.
