Chapter 4
Hoshi squirmed around, being pinned to the wall by the neck. The woman grasped her tighter, commanding, "I am the representation of the constellation Leo the Lion. Long live Small Dipper!" Leo swiped at her, missing, and let her go.
Hoshi leaped outside, Leo following. She was able to jump behind the building, losing the trail of the monstrous beast. Hoshi unpinned the item, and did exactly what North Star told her to. She didn't pass out this time, but instead felt sick. She went blind for a minute, opening her eyes to the same appearance she was greeted with a few hours before.
Not knowing what to do, she followed behind Leo, who was looking for her. She looked towards her window, noticing North Star. Hoshi motioned for her, catching the attention of both North Star and Leo. "I've got you... Hm? She's not the one." Noticing the skimpy outfit, Leo turned away, still looking for her. However, Hoshi climbed up to her room through the window.
"How will I deal with that hideous mess? And why did I even do this? You told me that I wasn't supposed to show anybody this." North Star shook her head. "I meant tell anybody. Anyways, you've practiced strangling trees out there? No difference with a person!" "I can't just strangle someone! I'd be charged with murder." North Star navigated between Hoshi's feet "You won't kill her, you'll just scare her off for a bit. And leave a permanent scar on her neck..."
Hoshi jumped out the window, abandoning North Star. "Are you ready?" She took the baton out, swaying a little. "You're the girl I saw earlier. Why would you fight me? I caused you no harm." She snapped the baton, spilling out a rope. "If you cause others harm, that's no difference." She tossed the rope around Leo's neck. "Not that easy!" Leo tugged the other end of the rope, dragging her around. "No, you won't hurt me." She shoved her foot in the ground, digging a hole. She sharply pulled the end, causing Leo to fall.
However, she was able to get up and chased Hoshi around. She tripped, opening Leo to an easy attack, and possible win. "I've got her! I've got her!" Not wanting to face defeat, or death, Hoshi pushed herself up as Leo was cheering. She pulled her boot off, tossing it across the property. "So close!" Leo chased the boot, avoiding the mud. "Whoever does that'll surely face death, and defeat!" Hoshi pushed her face first into a puddle of mud, and sprinted to her room.
After climbing through the window, she fell into her bed, and passed out. It was a long day for her, getting into a fight all for a cup of tea. The scars on her neck and the bruise on her leg didn't make sleeping any more comfortable. However, all her energy was drained from the chase. She didn't bother to change out of her clothes, and fell asleep.
