Hoshi Hane jogged down the stairs, her shoes going "Click, clack, click, clack."
"Great, great, great! This'll go absolutely perfect." She grabbed her bookbag and jogged out. She was late to school, so it seems. She stayed up until 3:00 A.M. gathering her notes and other things after a long weekend. She slipped into class.
"Hane?" That was her teacher. She always referred to classmates by their last name. She apologized and crawled into her seat.

Today was test day, and this test allowed notecards. Realizing she forgot her notecards, Hoshi asked the seat beside her, Yuu Kogane, "Yuu, any notes?" Yuu shook her head. The teacher announced the chapter of science they were testing on. "Today we will test about Stars and Galaxies. You only get three notecards to use. You have exactly 43 minutes to take said test, GO!"
Hoshi scribbled down a bunch of answers without thinking. It's as if the knowledge came through her brain to her pencil, except she barely studied this week due to stress. She got done at around the twenty minute mark and turned her paper in. Astonishingly, she passed One-Hundred-Per cent.

Once home, she ignored her family, including all the hustle and bustle the Dulce Oleum has gathered. Her parents owned a restaurant, and it was family ran. They hired a few summer interns here and there, but it was mostly managed by the family. Steaming pans were flipped by her older sister, Mami, as her younger sister, Hana, served the food. She was too stressed to pitch in, so she let loose in her bedroom upstairs.

 She gazed out of the window, watching a bunch of stray cats navigate around the moving cars. One cat stood out, however. A deep blue scarf flourished in the wind. She ran outside to investigate the cat. The group of small felines hissed at her as she scooped up the cat. The cat furiously hissed at her before calming down. Checking to see if anyone was near them, the cat whispered to Hoshi.

"Are you Hoshi Hane of the Dulce Oleum restaurant?" Hoshi stared both in amazement and doubt. "Y-yes, I happen to be Hoshi Hane." "Go in your room, then I'll follow. It's much too risky to be talking about it here." Hoshi slowly followed the instructions. "Am I that stressed to be hallucinating?" She mumbled. She ran into her room, noticing the cat in more detail.
"Let's get this out of the way first. I'm North Star, sent from the stars to seek you out. You have two very special things which I-" "What are they? North star hissed at her. 

"Don't interrupt me! I can't get into much detail with them. But because of your body and its contents, you have the ability to become a special kind of human. Sort of like a merge between our species and yours." Hoshi stuck her tongue out. "I'm gonna be a half cat?" 'No, no, no. I'm not the species, they're more human like. Anyways, there's been an invasion of evil, and I was sent to call you. Wanna try transforming?"
