Henry's pov
I went down to the mancave i needed to ask for Ray's permission to leave early for my "date",to be honest I wasn't excited about it. as soon as the elevator's door open. I saw that the atmosphere was different, everyone was just focus on one thing or the other which is very weird, Charlotte was by the monitor,shwoz was eating popcorn off the floor and ray sat listening to on of his audio books. "hey guys" I greeted

R:hey kid.

H:why is everyone so quiet?

R:no reason!

H:okay...so Ray can I leave early today?

R:why?

H:I got a date.

S:what!! I thought you were dating Charlotte.

Before I could reply Charlotte spoke rather angry.

C:for the last time henry and I are not dating.😠😠

R:why are you getting mad?🤔

I could see Ray raising an eyebrow, what does that mean?

S:probably because her boyfriend is going on a date with another girl.

And immediately Charlotte picks up the blaster close to her and shoots shwoz. making him fall to the ground.

R:Charlotte what was that for?

Even I was confused, shwoz always teased Charlotte about us dating, but she has never reacted like this. Maybe shwoz was right about Charlotte being mad about my date. Then I hear her mumble a "sorry" and leave. Weird!

H:Okay Ray I'm off.

R:have fun kid.

I hear shwoz say something about Charlotte not needing to shoot him before yelling up the  tube

Charlotte's pov
I went down to the man cave, and try to focus on my work but it was very difficult. I could picture Henry on his date with Amy. Then he walked in asking for Ray's permission to leave early for his date. I wanted to ignore them then shwoz makes a comment about me and Henry dating, I lost it and screamed at him telling him we were not dating even when I wanted it to be true. Ray raised an eyebrow asking why I was mad. before I could reply shwoz said the true reason I was mad, I was furious knowing he was right  so I grabbed the blaster close to me and shot him. I saw him fall to the ground and heard Ray yelling, Henry had a confused look on his face. that's when I realized what I had done. I mumbled a sorry and went out. I needed fresh air  and I also didn't want Henry to see the tears forming in my eyes "why am I crying I was the one who refused to tell henry how I felt because I was scared of being rejected. I went over to Piper's 'cause she was a very good listener.
I knocked on the door.

C:hey pips

P: hey Charlotte aren't you suppose to be at work?

C:can I come in?

P:sure.

I go in...

P:so why are you not at work?

C:okay, just let me talk before you speak.

P:okay.

C:so Henry asked out this girl in my school, and is going on a date with her today, when we got to work he asked for permission to leave early from my boss for his date, then my coworker made a comment about me being mad about Henry's date so I kinda... lets say hit him.

I concluded I could see Piper was shocked but she recovered quickly and said

P:wow! That's a lot, so is your coworker fine?

C:yeah.

P:well I got to be honest char this is your fault. If you had just told Henry how you feel he would be going on a date with you.

C:no need to rub it in,what do I do.

P:tell Henry how you feel.

C:I told you he just asked out a girl and you're telling me to tell him?
P:just because he asked her out doesn't mean he likes her.

C:can I just stay here till his date is over?

P:sure, we could watch a movie and chat all night.

C:sounds like a plan.

At least it will get my mind of henry, I singed and joined Piper on the couch.
