Henry's pov

I slumped on my bed the minute I got home, I thought of calling Charlotte because I missed hearing her sweet voice. I had become addicted to her.

Her curly hair, her sparkly chocolate skin, her sweet smelling perfume, her sassy attitude,her beautifully shaped hips. I was royally whipped for my best friend. 

Whenever I saw her my heartbeat quickens, and it starts pounding as fast as my super fast reflexes and I find myself getting lost in her.

"Henry stop this! You can't fall for your best friends" the tiny voice in my head whispered

I decided to give my bro Jasper, a call so he could talk me out of this madness, he picked the call on the second ring

J: what's up dude.

H: can you come over?, I really need to talk.

J: sure be there in five.

Five minutes later.

I hear a knock on my door.

H: hey Piper go get the door

P: why can't you do it?

H: just go get the door?

P: I'll go because I want to, not because you told me to.

She opens the door.

P: ugh...it's Jasper.

J: hey Piper.

P: just because you are friends with my brother, it doesn't mean we have to talk.

H: hey bro, let's go up to my room.

J: okay.

In my room

J: so what did you want to talk about?

H: um....do you think it's crazy that I like Charlotte?

J: OMG!! Chenry, I need to call Ray, he's gonna be so excited.

H: what no,you are not calling anyone.

J: bummer

H: seriously, dude!!

J: okay, I don't think it's crazy that you like Charlotte. As a matter of fact, i knew you loved Charlotte.

H: was it that obvious?

J: of course, you smile whenever you see her, and you always look for reasons to hug her. So when are you going to tell her?

H: um....never.

J: what! why?

H: 'cause I know she doesn't feel the same way, and by telling her I can ruin our friendship. I can't take that risk.

J: give me one good reason why you think Charlotte doesn't feel the same way?

H: well for starters, she beautiful...

J: and you're handsome.

H: she's smart....

J: so are you.

H: she's got her life all planned out.

J: Henry, you're a superhero's sidekick, girls would kill to go out with you.

H: but Charlotte is different. she's my best friend.

J: Henry,are you scared of telling Charlotte how you feel because she's your best friend or because you're scared of being rejected?

H: Jasper....

J: Henry the decision is up to you, if you want to miss out on your chance with Charlotte because you're scared of being rejected, it's your choice. I have to leave now. think about it.

H: thanks man

J: anytime bro.

Jasper leaves....

H: I just can't do it, I can't take the risk.
