15th☀

I looked out of my very much preferred window seat and saw the people working in the airport, well, working. They were doing what had to be done. Moving the luggage bags into the plane. Making sure the plane was fine so nothing bad happens. Everything that needed to be checked was, well, checked.

I glanced to my side, thinking this was the most crazy sitting arrangement ever. You'd think because our tickets got booked earlier that Mijoo, Wonwoo and I would be sitting in the same row together, but that wasn't what happened, it turned out.

I had the window seat. Hansol had the middle seat. Myeong had the seat next to the aisle.

Someone remind me how to breathe. I was sitting right next to freaking Choi Hansol. I tried not to be obvious, but I was caught staring at Hansol's sleeping state by Myeong once or twice. I smiled it off, but I ended up doing the same thing again moments later.

Myeong took out something from his backpack and pulled the tray table down and placed the item he pulled out on it, followed by a pen.

What on earth was he doing?

Myeong began writing something on the notebook he had brought along and after he was done, he handed it to me. I stared at him for a few good seconds. Myeong stressed it out to me and I just took it from him, uncertain.

There was something written on a new page:

Do you like him???

I felt someone tapping onto my hand. When I looked up, I saw Myeong holding out a pen. I took it with slight hesitation and scribbled back words:

Who?

I passed the notebook back to Myeong and tried to get some shut eye. Just before I did, I took one more glance at Hansol who was dead asleep with earpieces plugged into his ears and smiled to myself before I adjusted my position and tried to get comfortable.

But there was no such thing when Myeong kept annoying me with the notebook.

Him!!!

Who the heck..

Okay, I'm writing this with hopes he won't wake up but... you can read Chinese, can't you?

Slightly.

Good.

I squinted my eyes at Myeong's attempt to write Chinese. I could merely translate it... sort of. His handwriting was messy.

The guy sitting next to you.

What? No I don't.

Yes, you do. I can see it in your face. You're making it really obvious, too, by staring at his sleeping face. What? Can't take your eyes off him?

What? No! That's nonsense. Psh.

You smile every time you look at him. What else is that suppose to mean? That you find him funny?

Maybe. Yes.

Seriously.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Heh, he's funny. Watch me laugh at him. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. So funny.

-_-" I'm going to show this all to him if you don't tell me. Maybe post it on my Instagram.

@myeongsucks?? That account?

What. That's not even my account!

Oh, my bad. It was @myeong.is.lame.

Why are we friends again?

I know, right? I wonder that every time I see you.

-_______________-

Oh, it's a whale! Whale-come!

Ha, ha. Punny.

I saw you smile!! I know you think it's funny, too.

No.

Yes!

No.

That's my answer, too.

???

Heh.

What? Answer to what?

To your question.

What question?

You have lots of question, I see.

What the heck, Sarang. Seriously. What question?

Flip to the first page of our 'chat'. It's there somewhere.

Oh. OH. Well, you're lying.

._. Why on earth would I be lying again?

Because that happens when you like someone. You lie about having feelings for them.

Going to sleep night. Bye.

I shoved the notebook back to Myeong and turned to face the window before I drifted off to sleep.

Wonwoo

Wonwoo anxiously turned to look at Mijoo's form to see if she was comfortable. Well, she should be or she wouldn't be sleeping in the first place. Wonwoo was so happy when he had taken the aisle seat and Mijoo taking the middle seat of the row.

Wonwoo was having his weird fantasies of him and Mijoo when he suddenly felt something heavy rest on his shoulder. When he turned to check what it was, he found Mijoo's head resting on his shoulder, making him freeze up almost instantly.

It was a good thing Yejun didn't notice Wonwoo's odd action. He was too busy listening to music on his headphones whilst looking out of the window, checking out the clouds and the endless sky.

Wonwoo had pictured this over and over in his head and in his head, it was all so natural. She falls onto his shoulder and rests on it. He'd smile and adjust her head position so she'd feel more comfortable. Now that it was happening, he couldn't play out the way he has always imagined it.

He tried not to move as much, afraid he'd wake Mijoo up with all his movements. Instead of that, he stayed still and tried to breathe in the moment. It was happening. Despite it being a mere accident of her getting too sleepy and falling onto his shoulder, at least he was happy.

At least one fantasy came true, Wonwoo thought as he smiled through his closed eyes.

Sarang

I wanted to fall asleep, but I discovered that I was too excited to. So I ended up staring out of the window, looking at the clouds and the bright, blue sky. I couldn't see any land or sea since we were too far up in the skies to see it.

I turned my head to the side to check on the others. Hansol was still asleep. Myeong was drifting into a sleep. I leaned a little forward so that I could see the other side of the plane, where Mijoo, Wonwoo and Yejun were seating.

Mijoo was sleeping soundly on Wonwoo's shoulder while Wonwoo's head rested on top of hers. They were both asleep. I couldn't help but grin at the sight. I just wanted to snap a picture, which was why I took my phone out and discreetly snapped a picture.

As for Yejun, he was also asleep with his head leaning against the window. He had headphones on and was probably listening to music just like Hansol.

I leaned back in my plane seat, feeling excited about landing in Jeju. I can't wait for this trip. I didn't know what to expect from this trip, but two weeks is a really long time. Anything can happen. And I have a feeling this trip is going to be filled with nothing but fun.

"We are about to land in Jeju. Please turn off your mobile phones, laptops and other devices. Please do wear your seat belts as we get ready for our landing," the pilot announced through the speakers.

I managed to nap for twenty minutes and was woken up by the sound of the announcement from the pilot. My eyes were squinted as I tried to process where I was and what I was doing.

"You awake yet, Sarang?" asked a voice.

I rubbed my eyes and turned my head to where the voice was coming from. I stared at the blurry face in front of me and waited until it cleared out. Slowly, my eyes became clearer and so did the figure in front of me.

Only seconds later did I realize that I was staring at Hansol. Taken aback, I pulled my head back and blinked a few times before forcing the words to escape from my lips, "Yeah, I'm awake now."

Hansol broke into a smile. "Hold on tight. We're about to land."

I smiled back and buckled up, closing my eyes as I felt the plane descending down. It always felt like a roller coaster ride to me. Slowly, the plane's wheels started to touch the ground—Jeju's ground. It was speeding and it really resembled to some type of roller coaster.

It slowed down. Slowly and slowly. Then it started moving around slowly, finding its parking space until it came to a full halt.

"We welcome you to Jeju Island! Current time: ten twenty in the morning. We have arrived in Jeju City, the capital of Jeju Island. Please do enjoy your stay and thank you for choosing Jeju Airlines as your airline of choice. We hope to see you flying Jeju Airlines another time," said the pilot.

People started to stand up and take their hand carry that they had placed inside the overhead compartment. I stood up as well and did some stretching. Sitting down for more than an hour sure is tiring.

I grabbed my hand carry—my only medium backpack—and waited until we could leave the plane.

Mijoo

Mijoo's eyes fluttered open until she finally registered where she was. More importantly, where her head was resting whilst she was asleep.

She squinted her eyes as she tried to register what was going on and that was when she finally realized that she was sleeping on Wonwoo's shoulder for who knows how long. Before she could say anything about it, she rubbed her eyes and let out a yawn, which woke up Wonwoo at the same time.

She looked on the other side—the side where Sarang was seating at—and saw that both Sarang and Hansol were awake. Myeong was still dead asleep. Well, not for long. Hansol shook him slightly to wake him up.

She looked over to her left, where Yejun was sitting, and saw that he was still asleep. Letting out another yawn, she lightly nudged him to wake up.

"Are we here?" was the first thing Yejun asked after waking up.

"Yeah," Mijoo answered, turning back to Wonwoo who was yawning. "You awake yet, Wonwoo?"

Wonwoo looked over at her and nodded. "Yeah. I'm awake."

"Sorry," she suddenly apologized.

Wonwoo tilted his head to the side. "What? For what?"

She patted his shoulder and gave him an apologetic smile. "You must be really stiff after I slept on your shoulder. Are you okay now?"

"It's nothing," he assured her with a smile. "Come on. We're going to get off now. Jeju Island, here we are!"

Mijoo just remembered where they were and immediately grinned. "I hope you'll like my cousins."

"Soonyoung was a fun guy. I'm sure any other cousins you have will be just as fun," Wonwoo said in reply before he handed her the backpack on the floor, which belonged to her. "Let's get going."

Sarang

We were finally walking out of the arrivals area. There were a lot of people watching us as we stepped out. They were probably finding for the people they recognized and just arrived as well.

I quickly pushed my trolley with my two huge luggage bags in them and walked next to Mijoo. "Where are your cousins?"

"That's what I want to find out," Mijoo said in return, dialing on her phone before she lifted it to her ear. "Yah! Where are you?"

I turned around and saw the guys walking behind us as if they were our bodyguards. They managed to catch the attention of a few girls here in the airport, which made me want to laugh. Myeong was receiving the most attention, for a questionable reason.

Mijoo stopped in her tracks and the rest of us only followed her action. She looked around and tried to find for her cousin. "Where? Near the restaurant outside?"

I wanted to ask her if anything was wrong but she was talking to her cousin so I couldn't really disturb their conversation.

"No, we just got—"

"Roar!" said a voice, coming out of nowhere to place their hands on Mijoo's shoulders from behind.

"Ah!" Mijoo shouted, startled as she dropped her phone on the floor.

The person who had just scared Mijoo let out a good hearty laugh before bending down to pick up Mijoo's phone and handing it to her. "Still scared after all these years, Kwon Mijoo?"

Mijoo finally registered the face of the person standing in front of her and gave him a smack on top of his head. "Boo Seungkwan! Don't do such a thing like that, aish!"

Seungkwan only snickered in return before he turned to face the rest of us. "Oh, are these the friends you said are coming to stay?"

"Yup," Mijoo answered, checking her phone thoroughly, in case it cracked. "You're lucky my phone didn't break or I'd be asking you to buy me a new one."

"Whatever." Seungkwan dismissed her and waved at our group. "Hi there! Welcome to Jeju! I hope you'll enjoy your stay here. Mijoo said you're staying with us for two weeks, is that right?"

Mijoo smacked the back of his head. "Tsk, I already told you the plan. Why are you asking them again?"

The rest of us stood by, unsure who exactly was Boo Seungkwan. We were all quiet as we watched Mijoo and Seungkwan have a petty argument together.

Mijoo noticed us falling quiet and quickly said, "Oh, right. This is Boo Seungkwan, my cousin from my mom's side. His mom is my aunt, also known as the owner of the pension we're all going to stay at."

Seungkwan bowed. "Hello! I'm Boo Seungkwan! I'll be your tour guide for these two weeks. I hope you'll find Jeju to your liking."

I smiled and waved at him. "Hi, Seungkwan. This is Jeon Wonwoo, Choi Hansol, Seo Yejun oppa and Kim Myeong oppa. Glad you're making time for us. We can't wait to have fun in Jeju."

Seungkwan smiled back and started dancing around in the airport. "Well in that case, let's get going. My noona and dad are waiting outside by the parking lot for you guys."

"Ah, how much I miss Jeju," said Mijoo as we all walked off to the exit of the airport.

"And me?" Seungkwan asked, looking at his cousin.

"Who are you again?" Mijoo asked in return, looking at Seungkwan with a confused face. "I don't think I've ever seen—"

Seungkwan put his arm over her shoulder and laughed. "Don't act like you don't know me, Kwon Mijoo. We're close cousins. I know all your jokes."

Mijoo broke into a smile as she rolled her eyes at him. "Whatever, Seungkwan. Just lead the way to unnie and uncle."

Before I knew it, a presence took over the empty spot next to me. From the corner of my eyes, I saw that it was Hansol and that made me tighten my grip on the trolley as I continued to follow after Mijoo and Seungkwan, who were leading.

"This is my first time on a trip with friends," confessed Vernon as we were walking.

I slowed down and turned my attention to him. I tried to play it cool. "Really? That's interesting. It's my first time, too. It was a simple suggestion turned into something real! I can't wait."

Hansol seemed to be enjoying a conversation with me. It wasn't anything new since we've been friends before I started seeing him in a different light. "Glad to be able to tag along. Guess we'll be seeing each other for two weeks after all."

I smiled back, happy to hear about that. I felt myself starting to go back to the way I usually acted around him, thankfully. Although, I was still uneasy around him. At least I could talk to him normally like I used to.

"Woah!" I said.

We had walked out of the airport and parked by the sides was a really obvious mini van that took everyone's attention. Some people couldn't even see the taxis that were nearby because of it. It was a real eye catcher.

"That is the cutest mini van I've seen in my entire life!" I said, running up to it. "How do you get in though?"

Seungkwan chuckled as he opened the front door of the yellow mini van and a girl suddenly came out of there. "Oh, oops. Sorry, noona. I forgot you were there for a moment."

His noona chuckled and brushed her long, brown hair to the side before she looked at all of us. "So, you guys must be the happy trip takers, hmm?"

"Unnie! It's been so long!" Mijoo walked up to her cousin and gave her a warm hug. "Guys, this is—"

"Boo Younghui?" a voice had suddenly cut off Mijoo, sounding surprised to say her name again.

I turned my head to the direction of the voice and was surprised to know that he was familiar with her. What was even more surprising was Younghui knowing him.

"Seo Yejun?" she asked back with widened eyes.
