Armin's POV:

This wasn't happening.. Impossible .. no .. Eren.. NO!

"Tch! I need to get away from this crazy kid. You two have fun!", Levi growled, hands over ears as he ran outside. I covered my mouth to muffle the sound that was screaming manically out of it.

Eren..

I flung my head around swiftly and smacked the book from his hand. He couldn't have read much yet.. I hope.. Eren clutched his hand from the pain as I trembled realising that I had just slapped him. More salty tears dripped down my cheeks as all my worst nightmares became real.

Eren fell back onto the sofa and sat ominously silent and emotionless. His mouth was pinched slightly as if he was thinking something over and grinding his teeth.

".. Eren?", I whispered hopefully through my tears. He turned his head to look at me. He froze and just stared into my eyes with a miniature frown of concentration. He hates me.. He must've read it..

"Armin.. You think I'm hot?", he said flatly giving me a strange look. I couldn't work out what it meant but it made my heart drop when I heard those words.

" Eren.. Don't say I'm weird.. I told you before; remember? Please don't hate me its just.. I ..", I cried out, a tinge of anger creeping through my sadness. Eren closed his eyes in a long blink as if he was deciding whether to move out or not.

"Don't leave me! Not alone!", I wailed desperately, holding onto his shirt sleeve. He turned to face me and slid his fingers in between mine. We sat in silence, holding hands, mine hot and sweaty with stress.

Suddenly, his entire face broke out into a smile, a glowing light amidst the silence. Before I knew it there was tears welling in Eren's eyes as well and he wiped my eyes free of my own tears. He pushed a strand of hair from infront of my eye and his smile turned to the kind, comforting, forgiving one he had got from his mum.

" .. armin, why would I do that?"

Our lips collided, Eren dominating and slipping his tongue into my mouth. His hand stroked through my hair as I closed my eyes and enjoyed that incredible moment. I rested my palm on his warm cheek and stroked my thumb across his soft skin.

He pulled away, more tears of happiness gathering in his eyes and looked into my joyful ones. My cheeks flushed with colour at the same time as his as I nervously stared into my crushes eyes

"Eren.. Why?"

"Don't you get it silly? I thought you were clever?", he half-giggled, kindness somehow flowing through his voice. What did he mean?

"Don't be mean.. What are you talking about?"

He sighed then before answering my question, pulled me into a tight warm hug. I nuzzled my head into his neck and breathed in his scent. Eren always smelt of a metallic homely-scent that made me feel sleepy when I smelt it.

Then Eren said something that made everything worth it. My eyes widened as I heard those four words and my heart thumped quicker in my chest. I felt my body tingling with excitement and mouth forming a huge smile into his warm, cosy neck.

Eren whispered;

" I love you, Dummy"

Eren loved me..
