Fat Friend Night

A/N: I'm still so iffy on the casting so if you have an opinion or better suggestion please let me know.

Recap:

"Look, Marky, I know you don't like him-," I began, but he interrupted with a scoff, "Don't like him? Sierra, he slept with you four years ago, you've gotta more on."

"I have moved on!" I exclaimed, "We're friends."

"Jumping on the first guy you see when his with another girl is not moving on. And you're always at his beckon call. You dropped everything if he just asks you to."

"That's not true," I complained a little hurt that Marky was saying these things.

"Yeah, it is and you know it because deep down you're still that nineteen year old girl who just wants Mickey to love her," he spat.

"Shut up, Marky," I growled.

"It's true, even after he humped and dumped you-."

"I said shut up!" I jumped off the bed and made a beeline to the door, "Fuck you, Marky. You don't know shit about how I feel." I slammed the door behind me and that was the last of Marky I saw for a week.

"Sierra, you have to see Marky eventually," Jess told me as we walked through the store.

Lately I'd been spending most of my time with Jess. I didn't want to see Marky at all after what he'd said to me. It was totally uncalled for and further more really did hurt my feelings. Not that Jess knew what actually happened. I wasn't going to tell her everything Marky had said considering some of it might actually be true. Yeah, I did have a thing for Mickey like four years ago, but he was still that crush I could never get- the only crush I could never get. So excuse me if it's a bit of a sore spot and Marky knows that. If he hadn't been so rough in the way he said it we'd still probably be talking right now too. Stupid Marky.

Stupid, stupid, Marky.

"No, I don't." I shook my head, "You would not believe some of the things he said to me, totally uncalled for."

"Sure, but knowing Marky he was probably right on the money. You must've done something to piss him off," Jess argued.

I sighed in annoyance. Now she, my best friend, was going to take his side? I really have to rethink who I call my best friends. "Whatever, I didn't do anything. We were practicing and-."

"Practicing what?" she asked while grabbing a bag of chips and throwing it into our basket.

"Just... being a couple," I said while looking out for the soda we wanted- we were having a fat friend night, excuse the junk food.

She laughed, "And how exactly do you do that?"

"Kissing," I mumbled.

"You... and Marky... kissed?" she stopped walking around the isle in shock. She stood root to the ground with her mouth hanging open. It took her a full blown minute before she could get a sentence out, "Then what happened?"

"My phone rang and I picked it up. We were just practicing anyway. It was no big deal," I lied. It was a very big deal. I'd never found Marky more attractive and I'd never been more turned on. If I hadn't gotten that mix of a fortunate and unfortunate phone call we probably would've done it right there on his bed. During that kiss I realized I couldn't lie and say Marky was just my best friend and nothing more. He was so much more... before he flipped out on me that is.

"Uh-huh. And who was on the other line?" she asked.

"Mickey."

"Oh, Sierra, you didn't," she gasped sympathetically and obviously leaning towards Marky's side.

"I didn't what? I answered the phone, big deal."

"A very big deal," she exclaimed, "You made Marky feel less important than Mickey."

I scoffed, "Marky knows that's not true. I may have had a crush on Mickey a long time ago, but Marky's Marky. He's my best friend."

"Yeah," she snorted under her breath, "Only your best friend."

I crossed my arms over chest with insult, "What's that supposed to mean?"

She rolled her eyes, "He so obviously likes you and you treat him like a second rate boyfriend."

"I do not treat Marky like a second rate anything and he doesn't like me like that," I glared at her.

"Whatever," she scoffed.

I growled and turned around, stomping down the isle and into the ice cream section. I need comfort food and a lot of it. There's was a cough from next to me and I looked up to see none other than Marky.

"Hey," he smiled.

"Hi," I grumbled back to him and continued looking for my ice cream. I didn't know what type I wanted yet and that gave me tons to focus on besides Marky, or so I thought.

"Sierra, come on," he put a hand on my shoulder gently to get me to face him. Sighing, I looked up and turned to Marky for the first time. He looked so sad and uncomfortable. Marky and I rarely ever had an actual fight, despite our constant bickering, and even when we did it never lasted this long.

"What do you want?" I asked delicately.

"I-I just wanted to... I'm sorry I talked to you like that," he hung his head.

I fought the smile that was threatening to creep onto my face. Leave it to Marky to get me to want to forgive him immediately. "Okay."

"Seriously, I wish I hadn't said it like that."

That frown came back super easily now, "But you still meant it."

"Well, yeah. You are hung up on him still, aren't you?" he half asked, half said. I really should've slapped him or something, but even while insulting me like this he was still as sweet as ever.

"No," I answered immediately, "I don't like him and even if I did you had no right to say all that stuff. It was embarrassing enough being humped and dummped once then reject, you can't imagine what it's like hearing your best friend scold you for it." I said fighting back my tears that were brimming at the corners of my eyes. If I cried you bet the paparrazzi would pop up suddenly and the world would see.

His eyes softened after I spoke like he finally got what it must've been like to hear all that stuff. Good, he needed to. That stuff really hurt me. "I'm so sorry."

I sighed and plastered a tiny, weary smile on my face, "It's okay."

"Are you okay, though?" he grabbed my shoulders and looked into my eyes.

"Yeah," I smiled and went into hug him, "I'm okay now."

He pulled me in for a hug that lasted the perfect amount of time. His chin was resting on top of my head and he felt warm and home-like. Marky could be stupid sometimes, but he was my best friend, period.

"So, um, what are you doing here?" he asked after we pulled back.

I shrugged, "Getting junk food with Jess for our movie night. How about you?"

He scratch the back of his head awkwardly, "I, um, I followed you. You tweeted about fat friend night."

I laughed, much to his annoyance and discomfort. "You stalker."

He scowled. "I'm not a stalker. I just didn't know how else to get you to talk to me."

I looped my arm around him and gestured to the isle I'd just came from. "Come on, boyfriend," I joked with a wink, "let's go find Jess."

We walked with his arm around my shoulder and my arm around his waist looking for Jess. Fat friend night was a go and now I had Marky back for it. His thumb began to gently rub my upper arm, which caused me to jerk away. His gentle touching shocked me. The tingling sensation had travelled down my arm to the core of my body and I didn't like. Well my body certainly was a fan, but my mind knew better. Marky, my best friend, was not supposed to make me feel that way. We're friends. Who just happen to be fake dating. But that's it. Nothing more.

Marky raised an eyebrow and looked at me like I was crazy, "What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing!" I exclaimed and then mumbled something about thinking I saw a penny on the ground. He nodded slowly at me with a disbelieving look, but left me alone about it as we made our way to Jess.

"Marky," she grinned, "Are you joining us for fat friend night?"

"Actually, I was hoping you wouldn't hate me for stealing Sierra away for the night," he said smoothly, "I'd be happy to make it up to you later." I raised an eyebrow. When the hell did Marky get so smooth and confident with the ladies (even if he held no particular interesting in hitting on this lady).

Jess did not seem immune to his new charm and nodded her head while giggling.

I shook my head, "Marky, I had plans. You can come, but-."

"I'm sure Jess doesn't mine, right?" he tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear while saying so.

"No problem,"  she giggled while his hand lingered. I slapped it down with an angry scowled. "That's enough of that." I eyed Marky curiously before turning to Jess and nodding, "O-kay. Rain check."

"Bye," she waved her fingers shyly. I rolled my eyes once mine and Marky's backs were turned.

"What the hell? I wanted to go to fat friend night," I complained.

His hand locked onto mine with a tight grip and pulled me closer to his side. "Just come with me," he commanded before taking a sharp turn around the corner of the 7-11. He trapped me between him and the wall and leaned his mouth to my ear. He whispered, "Mickey's following you."

"What?" I asked incredulously, my eyes glancing to the side to try and see if anyone was actually there.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me back around the corner where we ran straight into Mickey.

"Hey," Mickey squeaked, "Sierra! Where have you been lately?"

"Uhh..." I froze like an idiot.

"I've been keeping her busy," Marky lied for me.

"Oh, so those angry, indirect tweets weren't about you?" he directed the question to Marky though I was standing right next to them- I had to perfect view of watching Marky's face go hard at the cocky smirk Mickey was displaying.

"Nope, definitely not," Marky growled.

"What's up, Mickey?" I interrupted before things got too serious.

"Just hanging out," he shrugged without taking his aggressive eyes away from Marky's.

"Fun... well Marky and I have to go so-."

"What are you doing?" he asked immediately without waiting for me to get my sentence out.

I glanced up at Marky. I actually didn't know. He'd just stolen me away from Jess with no explaination. How was I supposed to know what was going down tonight.

"Going to the movies," Marky answered causally with a hint of aggression.

"I'll come," Mickey invited himself and grabbed my hand to pull me away from Marky. "Let's go."

"Fine," Marky growled and we walked over to his car.

"Get in, I'll call Jess and ask if she wants to come," I commanded and the boys got in.

I dialed Jess' number and told her to meet me outside. She was there with our junk food in a heartbeat. "Change of plans," I informed her, "We're going to the movies."

"Okay," she nodded, "Can we see I Think I Love My Brother's Best Friend? I've been dying to see that one."

I pursed my lips, "I don't know if Marky wants to see a movie he's in."

She shrugged and we got into the car. The guys and I let Jess blabbed about wanting to see Marky's movie while we just nodded. I was in for in awkward night. I groaned.

"What's wrong?" Jess asked with a smile.

"Nothing," I faked a smile, "Let's see this movie."

A/N: Did you see what I did there with ITILMBBF? For those of you who don't know that was my first successful Wattpad story (go read it!).

Also I think this is my favorite non-fan fiction story that I've written on here, even though I hardly ever update and I'm story. But I think this chapter is fairly long. So I hope you enjoyed. Comment, vote, and fan!
